Finally, they're engaged! (*≧∀≦*) Sebastian was planning on waiting until sunset, but he couldn’t hold it in any longer.

Narrative under the cut 🍀

Sebastian and Audrey strolled leisurely along the shore, waves lapping at their feet. But then, Sebastian slowed, eventually coming to a stop. Audrey turned to face him, brows furrowing with curiosity.

"I don't know what I’d do without you, you know that?" he said.

"Oh, stop it," Audrey replied with a soft laugh, brushing off his words—though her smile lingered.

"I mean it," he said, taking her hand and brushing his thumb across her knuckles. "Because of you, I have two incredible daughters… and there’s just one more thing I could ever wish for."

There was something in his eyes—warm, certain—that made Audrey's heart race. Her cheeks flushed, though it wasn’t from the sun. "And what’s that?" she asked, teasing.

Sebastian dropped to one knee, the sand soft beneath him, and looked up at her with a smile that said everything. "Will you, Audrey Jackson, do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

Audrey’s breath caught as her knees buckled slightly, Sebastian rising to steady her in his arms. Tears streamed down her cheeks, but she was smiling through every one of them.

"Of course I will," she whispered, holding him close.

Sebastian gently wiped her tears away, his heart full as he basked in the glow of the woman who would soon be his wife.
