“An’ you expect me to believe that?” The wounded priest spat, though attempting to get up nearly toppled him over. “Fuck-…” Dammit, he wasn’t going to be able to move around on his own like this. While he wasn’t in any immediate danger of dying (shockingly, considering the amount of blood loss), he really was in bad shape.
“Tch… Assist me how?”
He watched him, understanding his distrust. He was already trying to come up with ways to gain the others trust. “In whatever way you require. I could carry you to safety, if you wish. I’m certain there is a town just North of our current location. I could take you there,” Colin suggested simply, “If you must know, a man by the name of Luu reset me. I believe he wanted Connor’s protection, despite them having a falling out.”
He hoped the mention of Luu would help Nick relax. “I am not after him for any malicious intent. Please, let me help you.”

senhsucht :
“You,” corrected Leo, “You should get some sleep. I can stay up if I want,” he said rather smugly. Still, Connor was right. He’d managed to help Leo into getting a healthy sleep schedule, and it would only take one slip-up for fall back into line with the internal-clock of the neighborhood raccoon. And Leo was familiar with slip-ups by now, if his on-and-off relationship with Red Ice was anything to go by.
The shorter man stood, worming his way out of Connor’s grasp before reaching down to take his hands and pull him to standing. “Great movie,” Leo said, “I don’t think I’d ever watched it if you never said it.”
“My daughter’s a whore,” he recalled, shaking his head at the dialogue and snickering to himself.
Connor rolled his eyes, “No, we. Because I want my cuddle buddy.” He allowed himself to be pulled up from the couch, towering over Leo now. “I’m glad you enjoyed it. It really is a bad movie. But, I mean, I know a bunch of bad ones. If you ever want to watch more...Colin and I...We would, whenever we actually took a moment to relax, we’d watch bad movies like these. I don’t think he enjoyed them though. I think he only watched them because I liked them and he was always too busy to do much else. Getting him to sit down for an hour and a half was a miracle...”
Those were the good days. The moments that Connor actually appreciated. He wished they could return to that time, him and Colin. He missed his brother. But now things were different. “Come on, short stuff,” he smirked, ruffling Leo’s hair playfully before moving towards the bedroom.

“Yeah? Try some of this then!” With a growl, he managed to yank his fist back far enough to deliver a firm blow to the android’s head….
…Only to result in a pained yelp and the irate human clutching the hand in question.
Tumblr media
“OH- FUCK!! THE FUCK’RE YOU MADE OUT OF?!” Groaning in aggravation (he wasn’t used to being the weak one here!), Nick gave up struggling, stilling in Colin’s grip. “Fuckin’ bitch-face-fuck… Suck a fuckin’ dick…”
Colin’s head turned slightly at the impact of the punch, but he quickly looked back at Nick, not amused by his antics. He watched him yell in pain, complaining and swearing at him. Human’s were such interesting beings.
“Are you done now?” Colin asked, “I would like to return to the matter at hand.”

Maybe it was because Leo had his back to a wall, but he agreed. Not like he would actually hold his end of the bargain. He was only lying to the man to get Colin off his damn back. “Fuck,” he said, complete with frustrated groan. “Fine, whatever.” Honestly, he didn’t want to know what would happen when the lawyer eventually found out he had no plans on keeping his end of this fucked up bargain.
Leo jiggled the door handle some, stare beginning to level as a glare when he found he was in fact trapped. “Let me out,” said the shorter firmly, even if he wasn’t that intimidating, Leo was too frustrated to really care about what could possibly go wrong despite Leo’s luck for his entire life up until this point being rather sour. “Or are you going to kidnap me, as well as force me to break up with my boyfriend?”
Colin was well aware that any agreement they struck now would not be upheld by the other. Leo simply did not understand the situation he was in. He didn’t believe Colin when he said he was a dangerous man.
That was a mistake. Leo should never underestimate him. Despite this though, he gave the air that he believed the others intentions. He smiled at his comment of kidnapping, “Only if you don’t listen to me.” But he reached to his door panel and unlocked Leo’s door. “Remember what I said. And don’t tell Connor,” his eyes flashed dangerously, “I will see you tomorrow, Leo.” He had to get the case files together and they already had a meeting with the courts. Something that would have taken weeks if you didn’t know who to talk to.

“I hear ya there.” He shot back the first drink, pouring himself another. Clearly they were both well averse in the art of getting drunk (or at least trying to).
“Heh, somehow that don’t surprise me. Well- guess back on Earth a near-death experience is more uncommon, but mos’ly? He’s a good kid. Little weird, but there’s much worse things.”
“Hm, ya...He’s a fucking great kid. Did you know he likes dogs? I never thought an android could like anything as much as Connor likes dogs...” he shook his head with a chuckle and downed his drink before reaching to pour another. “He grows on ya, that’s the thing. He just...has this way with what he does...Can be annoying as shit, but he means well. Glad he’s making friends..”
Tumblr media
Hank swirled the liquid in his cup. “So what do you do, anyway? You have a priest getup but I doubt you’re a fucking priest..”

boundinmybones :
When he spoke it dismissed her suspicion, he was clearly unsettled by what took place. She felt guilty that she had to ask it but doubt is hard to shake off. He hand’t lead her astray once, why would he start now?
“It’s okay,” she assured him when he apologized, she wanted to apologize for even assuming such things of him but then he heard his request. “W…What?” He wanted them to kill him? She didn’t want anyone to get hurt, especially not Connor but he was being used. Sure enough she could sense military grade metal approaching the harbor Jericho was perched on. He was still here though, he was back, what if there was a way to help him him regain control of his body when this happened? If she followed through with what he wanted she would never know for sure.
“You’re right…there isn’t time,” she went over and grabbed the gun but made no move to kill him. She unloaded the mag and stuffed the bullets in her coat pocket. She didn’t see it as entirely wise for her to return the gun to Connor just yet, and she was not going to shoot him either. “You wanted out of this right?” She asked him, looking up at him. He came to her apartment shaken and afraid, and they both got out of there. “Come hell or high water we’re getting you out, alive.” She promised him, turning to Markus, “There’s four masses of metal approaching above, and about a dozen more approaching ground level around the harbor from the south side of the city. If we want to reduce casualties there needs to be an evacuation order.”
He didn’t want to hurt anyone. He didn’t want that to happen again. To be out of it and murder someone. He wasn’t himself then, but it was still his body. Having them be able to take control of it was highly disturbing. He watched Zephine move to take up the gun, frowning when she did not point it at him. She wouldn’t do it.
“I’ll get the evacuation going. I expect to see you two later,” Markus stated, giving a nod to them before turning and hurrying to the main room where everyone was. He didn’t know how she knew of how many vehicles were approaching, but Markus supposed it could be a question for later. When they were all somewhere safe.
Connor moved to get up now, “If I do that again, please don’t hesitate..” He gave her a concerned look. “I don’t want to be responsible for murdering someone...” he turned and stepped out, following after Markus to see if they could help. The escape was silent since they had time to try and be organized about this. But they still had to act quick as the vehicles would be arriving.

deviated-android :
Those words seemed to stick to the android, his LED flashing and flickering a bright red as he tried and failed to comprehend what the other was saying. Connor… loved him? The thought alone caused a notification to flicker in his peripheral vision– software instability.
“Detective–” The words he wanted to say– the confusion that he wanted to voice– were drowned out by the sound of Connor starting to leave. “Detective, wait.” Samuel was quick to leave the bar and follow after the man, the feeling of being back out in the rain making him shiver slightly. He couldn’t leave Connor alone, not whilst he was so clearly drunk. It would be irresponsible of him– if anything were to happen to the detective, Sam would be deactivated.
Without a second thought, Sam called a cab for the two of them. With a confirmation from said cab saying that it would arrive in five minutes, Samuel reached out to grab hold of Connor’s arm, a polite (yet quite mechanical) smile playing at his lips as he did so.
“Your cab will be here shortly.” In other words, don’t move. He could only hope Connor would listen to him. “Do you always drink like this, detective?”
Connor looked back as he was grabbed, brows knitting into something akin to concern as he gazed at Sam. That awful robotic smile struck him. He pulled away from him and took a couple steps away but did not leave. He stared at his feet, shoving his hands in his pockets. “No..” he murmured, “Never drink much...Hate the stuff...” He wanted to just walk off, to disappear into the night. He wanted his chest to stop hurting. He wanted to just fade away.
“But it helps Hank drown out his shit so maybe it’d help me..” But he didn’t feel any better. If anything, he felt worse. He leaned against the wall of the bar and let himself slide down, not caring that he was getting soaked in the rain. “Just go back to CyberLife...Fuck....I quit...”

lieutenantgivesnoshits :
The Lieutenant didn’t say anything as he entered. Listening to the man rage. Good. Agitation will help them. Hank sat down across from him and leaned back. Taking his time. Then he spoke.
“You already confessed to the murders. You don’t need your phone call.” He finally said. Giving the man an unimpressed look.
“I get an attorney either way. Besides, you can’t take a confession without my attorney present! I didn’t say shit!” the man glared at Hank, “You’re just pissed I killed your partner.” A smirk played on the mans lips now. “Did the tin can go to the scrap yard? That’s ok, sure he’ll be turned into tuna cans soon enough…”
Connor watched from beyond the class, not yet moving to enter the room. He was waiting for Hank’s reaction.
"Hello Lieutenant. Did you have another rough night?" (Hello, have my bean and my shy behind)
“Morning, Con.” Hank leaned against the counter in the breakroom, waiting for the coffee. He ran a weary hand over his face.
“Just the same shit. Nothing to worry about.” He was fucking exhausted. Since he lessened his drinking, instead of passing out to dreamless sleep, he’d been fighting with fucking nightmare. Like hell he’d admit that. So he just blamed it all on insomnia.
//Get your ass in here, kid. You’ve got nothing to worry about. Just have fun.
