@Scott
Ellie: Killed you? You don't look very dead? Don't let my mother get her hands on you though. Oh Emma, Jean? Anymore exes to tell me about? Is Emma going to try and kill me as well?
Scott: Logan went back in time to fix everything...it was very confusing, since I was dead at the time even I'm not totally sure what happened. Emma and I ended on...well sort of a weird state it was a very ugly breakup that involved her going sort of evil. Trust me it won't happen again.
Scott: Ellie, you knew about Jean - and you knew how much she meant to me, this isn't new information to you.

Ellie: Yeah nobody told me either. First I heard was when she decided to choke the life out of me. Any fucking reason she went after me? Or is jealously still a thing when you're a demonic cunt?
Scott: I don't know...the last time she didn't even cared about me, she pretended to be her old self and then kissed me...and then she killed me. She's never been the jealous type - that was always me. Though...she hadn't exactly reacted well when I started seeing Emma...but that's besides the point. The point is that if I knew about this I would have done something to warn you - I would've had X-Men stationed all over that damn place. In no way was I expecting this.

Ellie: What the fucking hell was that?
Scott: Ellie, I had no clue she was back...much less that she was back as Dark Phoenix, nobody told me.

Scott focused on Jean, using his natural spatial awareness to find the perfect place to aim his optic blasts at. This natural power of his had always been pretty useful, even if his emotions were starting to screw with his powers. He aimed directly at her which just made her tighten the psychic hold. He only had one chance now…surrender.
“Jean, please…it’s me…it’s Scottie…please don’t hurt her - I’m the one you want so just take me.”
Scott could suddenly see the familiar eyes looking straight at him, like they were looking into his soul. He could feel his heart breaking at that look…because he could still see Jean there.
“Scott…I can hold her off for a bit…you all need to escape…I won’t have control for long…she’ll go after you again…so be ready for the coming fight….just….I won’t let her kill you.”
Suddenly there was a flash, and Dark Phoenix burst into flames and transported herself elsewhere. Jean had taken over temporarily…but the fight wasn’t over yet. Dark Phoenix was back in control and she’d take her revenge on Scott soon…she just needed to prepare for the fight of Scott’s life.
Stark Industries: Generation III
ironkingstark:
The last thing Tony wanted was Ellie involved, seemed to be her at the center of the drama though. Reversing his suit, he lined up a shot to match Scotts, but it did little to even nudge Dark Phoenix. What a crap villain name anyway.
Damn his kid had some moves, he hovered near by as Ellie smashed DP across the head. The victory was short lived. The former Jean Grey recovered and had Ellie dangling feet off the floor by her throat. Tony couldn’t take a shot for risk of his daughter.
“Summers! Get on this. You know her. We don’t. I’ll kill you if anything happens to her.”
Pepper had been leading the Avengers with Steve for awhile, but even now she didn’t know about what she was supposed to do. She was so scared that she could hurt Ellie, but still she knew Tony felt the same - so she had to be the level headed one this time.
“This doesn’t involve you two.”
She was just thankful that Ellie was working side by side with Scott, he knew this woman - had trained with her under Xavier, he knew her better than anyone - and even more so he had years and experience fighting that Ellie didn’t. She struggled to not do anything, but knew that it was obvious that the Dark Phoenix didn’t want them involved in this.
“Tony, we need to start evacuating people. She’ll do anything to keep up out of this fight - you know that, so we need to help where we can. Scott, if you two can’t handle this, you better call for your back up or else I’ll call Logan myself, don’t forget that he used to be an Avenger.”

“Trust me, she isn’t usually like this...only when she’s Dark Phoenix.”
Ever since the first time she’d shown up, Dark Phoenix terrified Scott. The fact that there wasn’t any point where she’d been able to break out of her evil alter ego and see what she was doing...not even when she killed both him and the professor.
Scott slid his visor on, he knew he had to help Ellie - there was no possible way that Ellie could handle Jean on her own, so he had to help her out. He’d only call for backup as a last resort, the last thing he wanted was for the others to have to deal with the emotional trauma that came with Dark Phoenix...not again. He was going to handle this, and the X-Men weren’t going to find out...at least he hoped not. “Ellie be careful, the last time Jean was Dark Phoenix she killed me and the professor.”
With his visor finally on and ready, Scott shot a beam towards Jean, he didn’t want to fight her but he didn’t have any choice.
Stark Industries: Generation III
frostbytestark:
Announcement concluded, it was hard for Ellie not to fist punch the air. Vice President of Stark Industries. Eleanor Stark. Damn that had a ring to it. She knew the burden of the title, the weight of her family and those who depend on their company. Ellie would strive to uphold the family honour. They certainly had a lot of making up to do.
With a few thank-you’s, Ellie was ready to take questions. She didn’t get the chance. The ground trembled beneath her, and before she could blink her parents were suited and booted. The Iron Family. What supervillian had the Avengers pissed off now.
“For fucks sake”
Ellie rolled her eyes, not exactly sure what to do with herself.
“Ok folks, lets get out of here, eh?”
Scott was the first one to see it, how could he not when this attack was so obviously centered around him, he recognized all the signs knew who exactly it was from the moment that earthquake hit who exactly was behind this. It was just a good thing that she hadn’t killed anyone…yet. Still he was confused as to why she’d get involved in this, the Avengers weren’t exactly on her enemy list - no, that was usually saved for the X-Men.
“Jean.”
Scott ran to the back of the crowd where he saw a woman with long red hair standing far behind the press conference. He knew it…it was her - Jean Grey. No..not Jean…she was Dark Phoenix again.
Every bit of Scott was screaming at him to call for back up, to at least call Logan but his heart just didn’t want them involved. Didn’t want what happened last time…they’d lost so many people back then - including himself.
“Jean…don’t do this. I can bring you back to the school, the professor can help you.”
“I don’t need any help…this is about you, Scott - you moved on. Forgot about me.”
Scott could hear the voice of Dark Phoenix resonating from Jean, but he didn’t have much time to think on it before he was psychically thrown by her telekinetic powers, thrown through the crowd and leading him to hitting the stage hard. “Everyone out!” He yelled, when the crowd cleared he stood up and removed his sunglasses, powerful beams emitting from his eyes. When he knew that it hit her he slammed his eyes shut. “Ellie, go to my motorcycle, and get my visor. Now.”

There’s nothing as comforting as a mothers hug. Ellie leaned into Pepper, taking comfort in the familiar scent, but equally careful not to crease anything between them.
“Dad is meeting us there, we better step off.”
Ellie buttoned up her coat and headed for the car, she was driving today, it always calmed her down. The drive to the Tower wasn’t a far one, but rush hour traffic was never fun.
The cameras were already flashing as they pulled up and flashed ID’s to the guards before being let in to the complex.
“Hey girls, I’ve got something to show you!”
Jumping over a handrail Tony grabs both of them by the hand and drags them to the elevator. Riding up what felt like endless floors, they exit on the executive floor.
“Dad, I can’t be late for my first damn press conference!”
The clock was ticking but as Tony would say, they’re not late, everyone else is early. Not saying another word, Ellie is shown to a frosted class door, that more importantly has the words Ellie Stark - Vice President etched on it.
“Holy shit… Mom, Dad, shit. You guys move fast. Fuck. Sorry, controlling the language”
“Glad you like it, baby.” Tony kissed her cheek and winked at Pepper before the three of them make their way to the atrium and waiting eyes of the world. Ellie gulps and takes the stage next to her mother and father. Pepper is the one to do the talking before Ellie makes her statement. She gives her Dad’s hand a quick squeeze and straightens herself up.
Pepper and Tony still didn’t seem to love the idea of Scott and Ellie together, and Scott that the little showdown that was practically a turf war between the X-Men and the Avengers hadn’t helped - regardless of how long ago that was. It had all been because the Avengers had thought Jean was dangerous...not that it mattered much anymore.
“There you are, I wanted to catch you before the press conference started.”
Scott had taken his motorcycle with him and had tossed a few things in the back of it. He’d been paranoid lately, the team was hiding something from him but he wasn’t sure what it was...but he had a feeling it could be dangerous. Now he never left the school without his visor and x-suit. Even though he had those visor contact lenses he’d switched back to his usual sunglasses since it was quicker to just remove the sunglasses in case something happened. He wrapped his arms around Ellie and gave her a kiss.
“You’re going to do great. I’m right behind you...even if not everyone wants me to be.”
Scott gave her another kiss and then squeezed her hand, allowing her to get onto the stage. Unknown to everyone something very powerful had returned - something Scott should have seen coming but couldn’t. The moment Ellie stepped up to the mic, the ground began to shake.

Want me to put on a pot of tea and we can talk about it? Or better yet, let me get the wine. This looks like a job for wine.
Either way, I’d like to think the X-Men aren’t trying to be dicks about whatever this is all about.
Please I need someone to rant to, and Ellie’s busy getting ready to be the new tycoon of the business world. Make it scotch and you’ve got yourself a deal.
Sure, most of them probably aren’t - except for Logan, he’s just always a dick.

My entire team is acting like they’re hiding something, especially a specific person. You’d think that when most of you have known each other since you were fucking teenagers that they’d respect you enough to not keep secrets.

Ellie: What's it like having a girlfriend who almost owns basically the biggest company in the world, hot shot?
Scott: Don't get to full of yourself, I wouldn't want that Stark ego to take over.

Ellie: Shit, seriously? That's good, that's great actually. As long as it's what you want? I mean the shades are kind of sexy
Scott: Well there are times that I'm still going to have to be wearing them, but it definitely is a lot nicer being able to see normally now.

Scott: So I have some good news.
Scott: Apparently some of the scientists that Xavier's been working with have been developing some new mutant technology, and they developed something else for my eyes - basically they're contact lenses made of the type of lenses that my sunglasses are...which means I won't have to wear my sunglasses again, and it actually makes it look like they're my normal eyes.
