HELL YEAH???? LITERALLY NEVER TOO OLD TO START WRITING. NEVER TOO OLD TO WRITE AND SHARE YOUR FIC.

her enthusiastic "i'm a very nice and bubbly person, i swear! but i love writing angst and major character death :)" nearly took me the fuck out.

As someone whos been watching F1 since redbull was founded I dont think many of you are grasping how big of a deal it is to fire the team principal.

I know Ferrari is fond of switching team principals every 3 or 4 years, hoping it solves their problems and many smaller teams like haas have done the same. But Horner has been present for 20 years. That's a very long time as team principal.

I've seen several jokes about how this is because redbull is now losing, and Max definitely won't win a 5th title this year. This is clearly way more than that. If that was the case, they would have fired Horner in 2014 when Seb left. You know their first WDC driver? Or when redbull was a midfield team during the mid 2010s.

They didn't though. This is something much more serious and something that's clearly been in the works for a while.

You can't just fire team principals in the middle of the season when they've been there for 20 years. After 20 years, exit clauses, severance packages, and financial stakes have all been created to protect Horner.

Redbull firing Horner is something that has most likely been in the works since before this season even started.

Something much bigger has happened, and it's not just the possibility Max leaving. Either the Sexual Harrasment case is way more serious than the media has been let on to or something else is at play.
