the thing is that childhood doesn't just end when you turn 18 or when you turn 21. it's going to end dozens of times over. your childhood pet will die. actors you loved in movies you watched as a kid will die. your grandparents will die, and then your parents will die. it's going to end dozens and dozens of times and all you can do is let it. all you can do is stand in the middle of the grocery store and stare at freezers full of microwave pizza because you've suddenly been seized by the memory of what it felt like to have a pizza party on the last day of school before summer break. which is another ending in and of itself

Hjarta - Red hair - heart (body) - red phoenix*

Ylja - Blonde hair - heat (talons) - blue phoenix 

Ljos - White hair - light (wings) - astral phoenix

Rey - Grey hair - smoke (tail) - phoenix raptor

Brenn - Black hair - embers (head) - dark phoenix 

*red phoenix is just regular phoenix

Adam of earth - talons

Gabriel of the stars - body  

Remy of the sun - tail

Oh right, Remy is included as a kind of pseudo cousin and Scott's maybe-clone. Adam, I was only hoping to include but then they made him official half-brother via Katherine.

Where's the white phoenix?

Only when a vessel accepts all five jurisdictions of the phoenix can they attain the white phoenix - they are, after all, sisters

I can't remember why Scott is the moon... I might have to swap him and Remy for the sun.

Can I ask for more on that X-Men centric AU, with the 3 Summers brothers and Loki being the dad of the Phoenix Force, please?

I can't remember which comic issues had it but this is all based on the whole Ragnarok is a reset done by the ones who sit above in shadow.

Sometime in an earlier life, they (Loki, Odin, the Aesir) manage to protect Midgard from the reset. (This is why there are multiple surviving versions of the mythology on earth - all the versions are just different timelines)

The early versions of Loki had bright white to red hair, depending on where the light catches. As each reset happens, Loki's hair gets darker.

At the time they were born, Loki has red hair and green eyes which is why the Phoenix Force seems to be obsessed with red heads lol. 

(I swear Loki as dad of the Phoenix Force makes more sense than her being mother of Thor )

There’s also five daughters - each holding authority over one portion of the phoenix - dark phoenix, blue phoenix, phoenix raptor, etc… I just need to find my notes on it)

I some scripts on his mythology to match w my AU

(this one is about the start of the Summers curse - with the one ancestor that met Loki)

As for Alex and his dreams:

There's an out of the way orphanage in Alaska. The caretaker is one of the original fates until the ones who sit above in shadows decided she cast her away, she now resides in Midgard

She was once known as Urd - one of the three Norn sisters - the past, the maiden. Her sisters continue to serve the ones in shadow. But she still holds the memories of the past, no matter if they've been forgotten (especially if they've been forgotten)

The brothers Alex sees in his dreams are actually just vessels where Urd stores the forgotten memories of their original counterparts (memories stolen by telepathy, amnesia, etc.)

Also, the nexus is still w Alex so any memories from multiverse counterparts stretch time and space to reach him in his dreams

It all sounds like a lot of nonsense but it makes sense in my head 😅

This AU has been brewing for 16 years and I didn’t know where to start. Feel free to ask more questions though.

Red (2016)

Made this one years ago for a canon compliant (at the time) AU. Where Scott Summers (Cyclops) unlocks his powers as they're falling from the sky after jumping from their burning plane. I drew this in 2016 but the AU has been rolling around my head since 2009 lol. I mean... I tried to keep it canon compliant but canon keeps changing its mind.

This was supposed to be for a comic that features all (three at the time) Summers brothers. It starts off as Alex centric where he keeps getting these dreams of Scott, himself and Gabriel (now with Adam) as young kids living together in an orphanage. He thinks it's just part of the grieving process (Cyclops was still *no longer in circulation* at the time). Until he gets called to asses a mutant 'threat' which leads him to an abandoned orphanage somewhere in Alaska where it turns out there are mini versions of Summers boys running around with all of their original powers. And there's no way in hell he's turning these kids over to the Avengers

Oh man it was gonna explore the Phoenix force like a teen fanfic. And Norse Loki lore like that one kid he saved from that giant, and that kid was gonna be the Summers ancestor. And Odin cursed the kid and that's why the Sunmers bloodline is screwed up.

And the original Phoenix force was gonna be Lokis fire troll daughters that ascended and escaped marvel!ragnarok. And they've lived for centuries looking for their mom - but this version of Loki had red hair and green eyes and that's why the Phoenix force is always getting attached to red heads

The Boy and the Giant

A Marvel Loki fancomic script

For a brief moment in my history, few worshipped me as a protector of children. 

I am not. But I would have liked to be. 

There is only one child I protect now; one bloodline. He tells my story the only way he knows how. Through his son. 

(flashback to a family huddled by the fire)

“Whatever shall we do? Odin and Hoenir are the wisest of gods but they could not outwit the giant. Our son will be taken come morning.”

“Call on Loki. Perhaps the god of tricks has a trick for us too.”

Having failed to protect my own children, I answered their call. Their son, only a tiny thing. He drew from me the urge to protect. But soon, I will be a protector no longer. 

"Thank you." 

(He remembers their grateful faces)

"We prayed to Odin and Hoenir, but they could not save him."

(This summons Odin and Hoenir. While Hoenir is glad, Odin is enraged. He puts a curse on the boy.)

Death. His punishment for daring to live was death.

And Hoenir for all his wisdom, could only ensure that the boy's bloodline will live on through one boy in every generation. All his daughters will die. And only one son, grieved from the deaths of his family will live on. Must live on.

I think of my children, my blood. I know the pain of losing them.

(Flashback ends and Loki is talking with his fire troll daughters)

"I can not go myself for Alfather is watching for my leave of Asgard; else he sees that remnants of the boy survived. You must ensure that every boy survives into his adulthood. Long enough to have offspring of their own. Odin's word is absolute, you will not be able to protect the boys from the suffering and pain they will endure. But letting this boy's bloodline vanish from this world is something I will not allow… I promised his mother and father that his blood will live on."

Urd warns me of the coming days. What will become of me. Of my children.

(The five of them fly off towards Midgard, in search of the boy. As they encounter earth lore, they begin to change their shape into the phoenix we know)

The ones who sit above in shadows have greater designs. I no longer amuse them, so they will recreate me. Us. Into something we are not. I have been a father, a mother many times over. But I have and have never been. And I am and never will be. I can only be who they will me to be in the next life. 

But I know - dark as my hair may become - that I will rage like wildfire. I will defy their fates’ design with every drop of my being. For that is the nature of chaos.

I am chaos.

(The boy and his descendants:

They travel to Rome to hide from Odin as he wouldn't dare meddle in Zeus' territory. They become smiths. The boy gets older and marries. His wife tries to off their children but one manages to survive. Decades later, a descendant that looks like Gabby travels back home during the Roman invasion. He takes off his helmet as he finds carvings of Loki and runs away as they begin to destroy evidence of Loki’s existence. He meets a girl and has a son. Another descendant goes to live in England and his grandchild, the orphaned Daniel, moves to America and changes his name)

His new caregiver, Oscar asks him for a new name.

"Summers."

Years later, the curse takes effect again on a small yet growing family inside a small De Havilland Mosquito. Intent on killing the two older boys and leaving the unborn son alive, the plane sets on fire. But the two boys survive.

Loki’s daughters sense them and all speak at once.

“Sisters… they are alive… the bloodline lives on… through three sons… the curse grows weaker”

Based on live action Sanji and my headcanon that he flirts in 3 different languages.

(And also based on my #2 wish that Zoro calls out his finishing moves in Japanese and Sanji, being a chef can't figure out why he keeps saying rice ball)

Anyway I need them to be arguing in Spanish and Japanese and just never understand eachother

Daughters of Fire

A Marvel Loki fancomic script

In the clearing of a dark secluded forest, Loki waits for his daughters. 

(Loki is waiting in a forest, red hair contrasting with the deep green.)

I have been here once before, when the forest was young and filled with blooms. And I am here again.

I don't know why I do the things I do. Only that I do them. My feet tread skies of places unknown. And yet, I always return. To the Aesir, to Sygn. To this forest where they were born. And here is where I have called them. 

(He looks to the sky. His five daughters arrive)

I remember how they came to being. These daughters descending on fiery wings.

(They land and he hugs them all. Their fire, not disturbing him)

Their flames engulf me in a welcoming embrace. The people of Midgard mistake me for a God of fire. I am not.

"Mother. We heard your call."

(Loki has shifted into a red haired woman with green eyes)

I'm just a wanderer… who wandered a little too far.

(Flashback to his younger years as a friend of the Aesir)

He remembers her. A woman of shining hair with a shinier lust for gold. She loved riches and spoils just as much as they loved spilling blood. (The Aesir spear her and burn her)

Thrice burned. Thrice reborn.

The Aesir, with all their glorious egos, could not understand why the woman could not stay dead. But Loki, blessed as he is with his mother's love for life and living things, understood where this greed for life came from. And he wanted it for himself.

Looking on from a distance as they sweep her ashes to be dumped outside for a third time. He jumps from his perch, swooping down with falcon wings, landing before her smoldering embers. And her half burned, beating heart. (It begins to set on fire, first smoke and then flames. He scoops it up with normal hands. Looks back at the great hall and decides to fly off with it. His hand clutches the heart with talons and he transforms into a falcon and flies off into the night with the burning heart. We see him again later, struggling on the forest floor. He tries to grab on to the nearest tree but becomes enflamed himself. He shapeshifts into a woman and births the girls)

Here in this forest, my daughters came to be. Born of my own misadventures and lust for power. Five aspects of fire that can never be extinguished. Heart, heat, light, smoke and the embers she leaves behind in her destruction.

We've only just met again, but I send them on their way. On a mission that I have failed to complete on my own.
