that’s a good question. Dominika is my birth, real name, no moremistery.

For the past year I’ve been growing my inner girly side, foundout I can feel pretty, desirable and loved by MYSELF as a girl. Fewyears ago it was impossible. But I was not pretending or trying to becool or different, when I was identifying myself as genderfluid. Bythat time I felt it. Now I understand one thing - feelingdifferent from boys and girls in my childhood was, in my case, notbased on a gender identity, but on this ‘feeling different’itself. More - it was actually completely genderfree, I didn’t feellike I was part of a girls/boys group NOT because I didn’t fit in agender stereotype, but because I simply didn’t fit to thosechildren AT ALL.

Many things on this beautiful planet are constant, but genderidentity and sexuality are not among them. At least I believe so. AndI feel so. Cheers.

Hi there, folks!

I’m glad you still kinda remember me. Long time no see,- I admit it, I had a hard, hard time accepting reality and embracing it, but it worked and I don’t run away from duties into imaginary world anymore, also doing things always wanted to do, but felt not good enough. Analog photography, mixing art with poetry and doing very different things from what I was doing are going to be new content of this blog, from now on.

I'm not going to delete previous content,- it's showing me my own, long way of an artist I am now, also you like it, so I feel like there's no point in doing this.

I’m sorry - people are changing and I hope you’ll accept it. Sometimes I might post some doodles, but not from fandoms I was crazy about before. Now I'm more into stuff like Stranger Things, Dark, other Netflix series, existential literature or good, lgbt cinema – in general not into comic books or manga. That's what keeps me entertained and happy rn. Please, respect it – you're free to leave and unsubscribe. I’ll understand it.

Previous year was both great and awful – I was depressed, I was stressed, I was suicidal, but I'm not that kind of person, who's making drama out of their problems and suffering. I reached for specialist help, got meds, also my beloved mahameni was by my side all that time. We've came a long way, but from now on it can only get better.

I'm working on final artistic project and bachelor thesis, also making my first steps into photography and designer world. I still hope you're gonna accompany me in this journey.

Witam, mam nadzieję, że ASP nie daje za bardzo w kość i święta mijają spokojnie. Jako anon podziwiający z daleka twoje cosplaye na konwentach i fanarty z ulubionych serii, będzie mi ich trochę brakować. Ale najważniejsze to być sobą i robić to, co się na prawdę lubi (zainteresowania z czasem się zmieniają, wiem coś o tym...). Życzę dużo weny artystycznej i pozdrawiam serdecznie!

it's weird bc when i came to cracow to university i saw nothing but gayness everywhere. Unlike back home???

I used to be super social, ‘ve been meeting and gettin to know a lot of ppl in my city, NONE OF THEM (except one of my uni profs) was openly gay, none of them was even openly LGBTQ+. Now, even in art uni, I experience the same. That means to me that even if there are many LGBTQ+ people, they don’t (or dont wanna?) come out ;; You’re lucky then!

Hello! ;u; I’d say it depends on where you live actually. For example, as far as I know, in Warszawa, Wrocław or Poznań LGBTQ+ community is active and consist of many members of all ages and ‘social classes’. That leads to the conclusion, that also more non-LGBTQ+ people (than in the other cities) are rather tolerant - when you’re surrounded by something different, it slowly starts to become ‘no-longer-different’ for you, that’s my opinion. Or... maybe still different, but acknowledged and familiarized.In Cracow, where I live, the activity is way more, I’d say... dainty. The most noticeable difference (which is also pretty cliche) is that you don’t really see for example homosexual couples holding hands, there are maybe two LGBTQ+ pubs/clubs that are known to be ‘the community clubs’, no draq shows, also a huge lack of psychologists who’d be experts when it comes to gender issues. And sometimes I’m personally scared to hold my bf’s hand in public or to show an affection. I’m not that brave.Of course it’s not like the jocks/chavs/hooligans/rednecks/right-wingers are all gathered in Cracow,- they’re everywhere, but from my point of view in other cities I mentioned before the community is strong enough to deal with those people and fight (a metaphore!) against them. Also I should mention feminists here - the community itself is huge, but the representation in TV or social media makes people think we’re some kind of freaks. Journalists in the most popular tv stations choose the most loud and warlike women (usually women, mass media force the way of thinking there’s no men among feminists...), who are satirized on the vision.
