one more concept i never finished. was gonna do combat core designs for the rest of the tome cast, was gonna make a concept about how Combat Core could of been a dedicated TOME fighting game

(im just saying, the lore in combat core is so bare bones, somehow zetto and kizuna have the longest character descriptions and give the most (still not a lot) details about the world then the actual canon characters in that game.)

another idea i never did more then a few sketches for.

Role Swap au, never got past these two lol, the idea was for the most part, their personalites are the same, just their roles in the story are swaped with each other. i'll list some ideas i had for it

Alpha <--> Flamey Pretty standard swap. flamey gets the virus, alpha gets the anti virus. flamey however is much more a mental fighter and tries to stay relaxed about having the virus, while constantly saying "its fine, its fine", but its ultimately Alpha that convinces her she doesn't have to do it alone.

Nylocke<--> GC / Sofdti This one felt interesting to me, nylockes two personas (ye old knight vs normal chap) works well in the framework for being the heart of tome. turning the ye old persona from an escape to a disguise. an act to hide who he really is. nylocke ends up confiding in sotdtis calm and quiet demeanor and is able to let down his walls.

Zetto<-->Kizuna Their multiple forms made this swap pretty easy. kizuna is much more like her beta personality, and zetto is still cocky and smug even tho hes a stressed out hacker. "where have you been?~" and all that.

other note really only one thing. recycling the dialoge between zetto and nylocke from the gemini tournament but reflavoured for the last confrontation between sofdti and kizuna in episode 15, is so fucking good.

Zetto: aiming his palm up with a breaker beam ready to fire Nylocke: thats probably a bad idea Zetto: you think so? well everything you've ever done is a bad idea! Kizuna: *shoots him in the back*

shout out to that everyone gets a virus fusion design idea i had and never finished / committed to.

idea was they would get unique code names based on the forms. similar to how the ultra beasts in pokemon have code names. below are the names i thought of, not all of them were finalised so i just listed all the candidates

Alpha - Ultimate / Fallen Zetto - Machine / Weapon / Cyborg Kizuna - Chimera / Hybrid Flamey - Oni / Brimstone Nylocke - Black Knight / Cold Steel Gamecrazed - Malware / Glitch I also wanted to do the netkings but never got past names

Webmaster - Blackhole Kindarspirit - Disaster Rubirules - Fracture Execk - Meltdown Bitshrum - Pestilence
