How can I find out more about the AU where Eggman used to be Maria and made a fake Maria? All I can find is irenereru’s take, but they credited you with the idea and I can’t find anything on this blog.

I didn’t do much with it, just some sketches, but they did gain some attention! (I love irenereru's take!)

The concept is straightforward: Maria and Ivo are actually the same person. Maria survived but altered the footage and records to cover her tracks.

It makes it ambiguous whether the real Maria was ever as kind as Shadow remembers. One scene that comes to mind in this AU is of Eggman casually shrugging and saying, “I just didn’t want to die,” with a smirk. It’s relatable, but it completely erases the idea of Maria as a selfless figure and basically this AU is 'Let's just fuck Shadow up some more'

BEFORE YOU COME AT ME- I have some cute stuff planned for Stone, I loved his character throughout the trilogy and I don't mind if he's not in the 4th movie anymore considering how Sonic 3 ended... BUT! I would definitely love to see Lee Majdoub and his character make a comeback.

I love Jim Carrey too but as much as I'd love him to be back, I don't see it happening bc of his retirement, pickiness with script, the almost 3 year gap between the confirmation and the release of Sonic 4, the fact that he got paid for only one role despite playing 2 characters AND most importantly bc I suck at writing comedy so I would butcher Eggman so much if I gave him any thought, whether it was past/future Eggman or from a different timeline.

Uhhh okay so make up a story for this uhh sonic thought on taking shadow out on a stargazing date and while they both enjoyed it very much it was only until sonic fell asleep that shadow started thinking of Maria again, he loves sonic but regularly makes sure to keep him at a distance as to not be vulnerable enough to another possible loss, he also felt guilty for only remembering her now and not during the stargazing. This is the first time he's been so intimate with anyone since Maria's death and he's unsure if he can keep up with Sonic on this one... As someone who's fought for so long through the grief and for self discovery even, he feels paralyzed, he can't bear the idea of his love hurting Sonic on the long run but he doesn't wanna let go either.

Rouge is one of my favorites from the Sonic games HOWEVER I do have a lot of nit picks with her original look which lead me to redesign her a bit to fit more my liking ♡⁠˖⁠꒰⁠ᵕ⁠༚⁠ᵕ⁠⑅⁠꒱

Most of my issues come from a species standpoint, I understand SEGA has its style with mobians *cough furries cough* but I REALLY wanted to do something about her design.

If I ever decide to draw other bat characters/furries I'd show the different ways their wings can be drawn with my logic in mind but rn- *puts on glasses and points at a whiteboard with a laser pointer* TIME FOR SOME ANATOMY I'M PULLING OUT OF MY ASS BUT MIGHT JUST BE CORRECT I THINK:

Bat wings are attached to a bat's spine and lead all the way to the tail, here it's not shown but my idea is that Rouge's wings are NOT connected to her whole spine but rather stretch out of her shoulder blades like it does in canon. Also the size was increased so they cover her up better.

I reshaped her nose a bit to look more like a bat's but she's on a side profile so it's hard to see.

Comparing a human skeleton hand with a bat's "hand", the structure shows that, in theory, the whole wing is a bat's hand (look it up), meaning they don't have any "arms", Rouge does so I made it in a way that, to fit her seductive persona, it looks like a feather stole, going around her arms just below her shoulders with an added fluff.

Adding to her diva character, I feel like having her wings look like a cape rather than dragon wings (that her model has in SA 2 and others) works more from a physics point of view, keyword "feel", physics is not my strong suit at all so feel free to correct me in this and other points if u feel like it.

Despite the last point made, Rouge can still extend her wings like normal, it just looks like a superhero in control of their cape with a cunty stole-like look to it.

Okay now not to be a puritan on the internet BUT I don't really like how Rouge's design is all covered up and sexual at the same time, for me it's one or the other, not both or else it looks like b*ndage. Not to mention that she's "18" which, while "legal", is still weird to play the whole explicit persona around, however I don't pay much attention to that as Sonic characters are timeless and their ages don't matter as much when it comes to the games or anything else really (except maybe Sonic's bc of his bday in generations and how the humor/drama is handled in each installment but again it's not that deep when u don't think about it)

OFC this is just fan service the creators did and I'm glad they gave her more character throughout the series and, like I said, these characters r p much timeless, though I would love to see if they go more in depth with her character in future games, as she is a solid part of the franchise but I'd love to see where her whole character comes from and how she came to be the seductive treasure hunter bat diva she is today.

ANYWAYZ- I'm not a fan of how her gloves and boots are the same color of her fur and *trying* to desperately make up for the lack of fur on her design, it's not doing it for me. Also we've seen more of her arms in other versions of her like Prime and they're peach/skin colored, if her arms are that way does it imply the rest of her body is just like that too?? No fur no nothin?? Sorry, I just like my furry characters with F U R .

So I showed a little of her arm below the wing fluff where her fur does grow, so then I had to change her gloves, I went for fingerless ones as they give off more scavenger/wild style and fit her well, and while I love to give all furry characters paw pads / beans, I feel like she's completely fine without them. Also I kept the boots in the end bc they're iconic ngl
