Bryan Danial Joseph (DADASOULFACE) kills ancient books and slices thru vintage periodicals to harvest their souls for remixing and rearranging. Essentially changing their purpose in the world. He does all this with common materials that can be found in any saavy hipster's junk drawer. Bryan's work is a form of automatism through a process of turning his consumption into production. Bryan's paintings and collages have been shown at the Paramount Arts Theatre (Aurora,IL), Kane County Chronicle Gallery (Water St. Studios Batavia,IL), Aurora Public Arts Commission Gallery (Aurora,IL), ArtBar (pop-up gallery Aurora,IL), Gallery 1904(Aurora, IL), Burning Bush Art Gallery ( Wheaton,IL) and various venues and art festivals around the Chicagoland area.
