hey, you're like the dä archivist so I wanted to ask you if you happen to have the 1985(?) video where they play Zu Spät in a gallery(?) and Mädchen on a boat with the little interlude in the middle where they watch tv? it used to be on youtube but I can't find it there anymore for some reason (has it been taken down or is it just me?)

Ohhh I think the channel that originally uploaded it, got deleted. I saw there some really weird shit like a few days before the whole channel was just... gone for good. Idk if the person behind it deleted it or if it broke Youtube's guidelines and got terminated.

Anyhow, the good thing is: I did download the video long time ago! And I have now reuploaded it to my Youtube:

I don't remember what else was on that channel but there was _loads of videos, so anyone reading this: let me know if you can't find some video on Youtube anymore because the chances are high that I have the video in my files. I'll gladly reupload any of those back to Youtube!

I'm a huge fan of both dä and MP and I have never noticed this?????? Probably because I don't give af about football XD But I know this skit, I have seen it many times, but actually never connected these dots.

And yes it's more than likely that this has inspired them. Farin is a huge fan of MP and there are tons of references to MP in his work if you just know what to look for.

I’ve been listening to “Schopenhauer” 24/7 lately and have noticed that some of the philosophers mentioned in the song match with the players of the “International Philosophy” (also “Philosophers' Football Match”). It’s a Monty Python sketch from 1972. Do you think die Ärzte could get inspired by this match? 🤔
