Anonnn, you don't understand, I'm obsessed with this ask. I just HAD to do every single Luke era plus the Dilf AU as the cherry on top because it's been so long since I last wrote something wholesome😩

also it reminds me of the posts I used to do when I first started writing and ngl I'm feeling a little nostalgic

• sweet ANH Luke with his open smile and honest eyes is so easy to approach and befriend, resting your head on his shoulder comes almost naturally

• though unbeknownst to you he'd immediately be on the brink to loose his mind

• already he tends to be a little jittery with nerves whenever you randomly appear in the same room he is in

• even more so now that he's finally admitted his major crush on you to himself

• so just imagine his excitement the moment you decide to sit next to him

• as soon as your head touches his shoulder he goes bright red and doesn't dare to move in fear of accidentally shooing you away, his heart beating wildly in his chest

• for a slight moment he forgets how to breathe, though it's not like he minds

• this is the best day of his life

• not only does he finally get to feel the warmth of having you so close by his side, but also your soft hair aginst his cheek if he dares to tilt his head just a little bit

• when eventually he manages to somewhat normalize his breathing, his thoughts will start to wander

• he's SO proud you're clearly comfortable and feeling safe with him

• but should he strike up a conversation? Ask how you're doing? If everything's okay?

• maybe he could make you laugh

• your hands look so soft; what if he were to reach out and just take them in his?

• would you mind?

• he's not sure, his aren't as pretty and smooth as yours

• you smell very nice

• wouldn't your current position make you look like a couple to an outsider passing by?

• though should you be as lucky to catch him during a moment of rest and manage to lean on him, he'll feel similarly as ANH Luke; excited, a little nervous even, though not as much as his younger self would have been

• still he has to fight off the blush rising into his cheeks and will absolutely deny ever changing colors should someone (especially Leia, Han or even R2) point it out

• at the same time he wishes for as many as possible to witness this very monumental moment, hoping everyone will see that you're leaning on HIS shoulder

• yeah that's right! In your face, (add in name of random rebellion member that also takes an interest in you)!!!

• if he's feeling extra bold, he may use the chance to put an arm around your shoulder

• but very carefully so; he's afraid to overstep any of your boundaries

• after all he's not sure if you'd even like to be held

• there's only one problem: how is he supposed to do anything now?

• he has places to be, things to do, an Empire to fight!

• he's getting kind of warm too

• more than that actually

• Force, are you hiding a heater under all of your layers of clothing?

• also he just remembered; isn't there a meeting he has to attend?

• shouldn't he be working to improve his x-wing?

• he'll check on you out of the corner of his eye, trying to get a feeling for how long you plan to stay like this

• he needs to come up with a way to notify the others of his delay

• because there's no way he's moving even a single muscle

• he's not leaving you behind

• he simply can't!

• not when he was just chosen as your designated spot to rest your pretty but, admittedly, very heavy head

• but not to worry, of course he can handle it!

• he'll be here as long as you need him to be

• RotJ and post RotJ Luke is hard to keep tabs on and thus hard to find

• all you can hope for is to encounter him by pure chance, as he seems to simply have evaporated whenever you wander around searching for him

• though despite his withdrawn ways he's always welcoming and inviting should you happen upon him

• he, above anyone else, understands the importance of rest during a busy day

• he smiles mildly to himself as soon as you settle down and scoot close enough for your arms to touch

• the emotions you are unconsciously emitting, may it be nervousness, excitement or shyness, amuse him a great deal and he's keen to see whether you'll overcome them this time or not

• I don't think he'd tell you outright that he enjoys your presence, that it tends to calm him down and to ease his mind, until much later

• but despite what he is or isn't saying he can't help but feel a little warm inside whenever you come across him during the day

• despite that he can never not worry at least a little bit about your well-being and immediately feels the need to check in on you either with words or a gentle probe with the Force to make sure you're okay

• if he has the time to stay with you for a while he asks if you'd like to lay down

• see, he can shuffle to the side a little and then you could rest your head on his thigh instead of on his shoulder

• wouldn't that be more comfortable?

• he doesn't have a blanket in case you're cold, but maybe you could use his cloak?

• it's not the best, maybe a little rough and still a little dirty from his last trip as he didn't have the time to wash it yet, but it does a good job of keeping a person warm

• he doesn't show how happy he is should you follow his invite and agree to rest beside him, though maybe Leia would notice

• and possibly so would you by how he'd start to absentmindedly stroke your head and play with your hair whenever others are around to keep him properly distracted

• I think Dilf!Luke's reaction would really depend on the current situation/ on how far your relationship has already developed at that point

• here it's important to note though that he'd never tell you off or send you away for initiating contact, not even after just recently getting to know you

• yes he's standoffish and withdrawn, cold in demeanor, seemingly displeased with your presence in his house

• but when it comes down to it he is kind, always has been, even if he hides it away to protect himself

• his behavior towards you is nothing personal; the emotions you call forth are his to deal with

• he may try to at first but ultimately knows deep down that he can't hold you accountable for how his past still troubles him

• he's a father, deeply caring in nature

• no matter what, he could never bring himself to deny anyone his child's age comfort

• though he might be a little confused about why you chose him, of all people, to rest your head on

• after all it's not like he's been going out of his way to be peculiarly inviting or nice - quite the contrary actually

• he'll remain very still for the duration of your vicinity, involuntarily stiffening not only out of surprise but because it's been so long that anyone outside of his immediate family initiated intimacy

• he's so touch starved, so used to rarely feeling a person's warmth, that your simple act catches him off guard

• suddenly he has no idea what to do, how to continue on after

• for your own good and his child's sake he wants to keep you at an arm's length and yet...

• if he wasn't enamored with you before, he is so now

• he thinks back to those moments of doubt and insecurity frequently

• but where they once haunted him, they now serve as a reminder for how far he's come and what he was able to finally leave behind

• he's proud of himself too, yes, but most of all to call you his

• every little touch of yours, and may it be one as innocent as laying your head on his shoulder, fills him with joy

• never, in a thousand years, would he once have believed to be in a position to reciprocate your gentle displays of trust and affection

• but now that he can, now that everything feels a little less like a dream, it's all he wants to do

Would it be possible to request for headcanons of the OT gang and how they would react to being invited into going to a concert of yours (opera, orchestra, idol, band, etc.) and then, at the end of the concert, you say you dedicate the concert to them? Big functions like this are typically par for the course for Leia, so while she’s flattered that you invited her, it isn’t really something she’d find overwhelming, per se. She’s very excited to support you and curious what the experience will be like. If it’s more of a casual concert—like a typical rock or pop concert—she really enjoys the change of pace from the more prestigious genres in fancier music halls. She already knows going in that you’re going to be fantastic, and if it’s a setting where cheering is appropriate, is one of the loudest voices in the crowd. If this isn’t really a venue where cheering happens, she’s standing up and clapping the hardest for you after every song and is glowing with excitement with a vibe of hell yeah, I knew they could do it. I’m still an avid believer that Leia, being royalty and a politician, is an avid fashion lover like her mother and she goes all out with whatever outfit matches the venue and music style – even if it’s not something she usually wears, she loves being able to experiment and show her support for you even more with her clothes, and may even know what she’s doing since she knows the press will be taking pictures of her the moment they realize she’s there. She’s more than happy to help you promote yourself with her presence.

When you take a moment at the end to dedicate the concert to her, she’s so touched (especially if you included a few pieces with a connection to her lost homeworld) and has the biggest smile on her face. Being the last princess of Alderaan, the second she stands up at the end to clap, it triggers a standing ovation from the whole crowd. Any articles with footage the next day will swear she got a little teary-eyed for a moment, but of course she’ll deny if anyone asks. Knowing you’re probably exhausted after such an ordeal, she comes backstage afterwards with the best catering that includes all the food and drinks to soothe your throat and help you recoup while insisting she knew you would be incredible even before hearing you and it did not disappoint.

Luke has maybe been to a few smaller concerts here and there, but nothing too big or fancy. More often, it’s been music in cantinas or passing by some sort of club with live music where everyone was paying much more attention to their drinks. He wants to be fully prepared with how best to support you while he’s there, so does his own research on what type of venue you’ll be in, what the crowd will be like, what he should wear, whether he’s supposed to cheer or clap, etc. He’s elated to be invited and if you’re also Force-sensitive, his excitement and anticipation is so powerful when he walks in the venue, you can feel it from backstage. If it’s a fancier gig, he enlists Leia and Lando’s help for the appropriate outfit and makes sure his hair is combed all nice and neat and he’s clean-shaven. Once the concert starts, he’s awed by your talent and anyone with him will tell you afterwards that he had the biggest heart eyes the entire time. Any nerves or discomfort he had about the crowd (you know he’s an introvert) completely fade the moment you step on stage and he’s bobbing his head to the music the whole time, clapping enthusiastically after every number.

He's completely caught off guard when you dedicate the concert to him at the end and doesn’t bother to hide his watery eyes. If you’re already together, he’ll use the Force to extend a strong wave of love and affection towards you, and will still show up backstage with your favorite takeout meal, and either a bouquet of your favorite flowers or a bag of your favorite snack depending on your preference. He even has a thermos full of your favorite tea he made himself in case you need to soothe your throat. He doesn’t hesitate to tell you how amazing and talented you are and everyone around is pretty sure they just watched him fall even more in love with you.

When you extend an invitation to Han, he gives you a casual “sure thing,” but is equal amounts curious and excited. Out of the entire crew, he’s been to the most concerts, but is usually paying more attention to the drinks, potential romantic partners for the night, and maybe even the money to be made with the music as a backdrop. For a second, with his reputation, he even gets a little worried that someone will recognize him in the crowd and stop him from putting all his attention on you – but he’s determined to have his eyes as glued to you as possible and even brings Chewie with him to run interference so he can fully enjoy your performance. More casual venues and genres are more his thing, but he’ll still come to a fancier event to support you and finds he likes it more than he thought he would just because it’s you (although you still can’t really get the concept through to him that buttoning up his shirt all the way isn’t really “fancy”).

When you dedicate the concert to him at the end, he’s completely in shock and sort of stands there like O.O until Chewie gives him a little grumble and nudge. Then Han’s on his feet clapping as hard as he can, hollering out a whooo, yeah! And adding a sharp high whistle with both fingers in his mouth – even if it’s not that type of venue. Of course, he apologizes later if that’s the case, he just got too excited. He comes backstage to congratulate you laden with the best celebratory drinks (and if you don’t drink, he got you some non-alcoholic cocktails that taste amazing) he could find. He wraps his arm around your shoulders and gives you a big squeeze with a “knew you’d blow it out of the park.”

Lando immediately accepts your invitation with a huge grin on his face. With his impressive resume, he’s been in all sorts of settings – from some of the fanciest concert halls the galaxy has to offer to even dingey dive bars where the music’s so loud, you can barely hear yourself think. One of his biggest love languages is gifts (you can pry this headcanon from my cold, dead hands) and he’s not pushy, but insists on making sure you have all the monetary support, set pieces, and perfect garb to put on an exceptional show should you need his help. He’s prepared for any situation (and any outfit – you know that guy’s got a closet bigger than most people’s houses) and even though he’s all cool, calm, and collected when he gets there, he’s barely containing his excitement. He’s 100% dancing – whether it’s more subtle moves in his seat and tapping his leg with his hand, or getting up and busting out his best moves. Of course, he keeps it classy, but there’s no denying he’s having the time of his life.

Like Leia, he’s so touched when you dedicate the concert to him. He has a huge smile on his face and puts both hands over his heart before giving you a tiny bow and extending his hands towards you – even if you’re too far away to see it, he hopes you can somehow feel it. He comes backstage to congratulate you with a giant smile on his face. He rubs your back and tells you that you’re a talent unlike anything he’s ever seen and he’s so glad you got to perform again, and he’s happy to give you all the tools to keep performing for as long as you want. He’s also brought an entire suitcase filled with comfy clothes, your favorite foods, plenty of water, and all the things to run you a nice, hot bath so you can relax while he gives you a massage.

Being Han’s partner in crime, Chewie (platonic) has also been to more than a few concerts and is happy to join. If you and Han are together, he’s taking his bodyguard duties very seriously so that his friend can have full attention on you without having to worry about anyone trying to use him to cause a ruckus. If he sees anyone familiar heading towards Han with a scowl or too much purpose in their step, he quickly removes them before Han even realizes what’s happening. Otherwise, he’s nodding his head in time with the beat and you can’t help but smile from the stage when you hear an excited roar with each round of applause.

Chewie will roar excitedly again and shake his fists in the air if you dedicate the concert to him, and once he’s backstage, will give you the biggest bear hug as he lifts you off your feet and rambles out an ecstatic string of Shyriiwook. C-3PO or Han will translate and let you know you’re now his favorite person. If you weren’t part of the family before, this experience cements it and he will protect you for life.

R2-D2 (platonic) has never been to a concert where he’s just a guest versus helping serve drinks, food, or sneaking around to find information, so is extremely excited and hops around on his little legs to show you just how much. If your gig is fancier with a crowd that’s expected to be quiet during songs and people around him are talking, R2 will give them a little warning zap with one of his retractable arms, and will whistle as loud as he can between numbers. If it’s a more casual gig, he’s wobbling back and forth on his outer legs in tune to the beat.

Dedicating the concert to him will have him so excited, he’ll spin his little head around multiple times until he gets so dizzy, he falls over and the people nearby will have to set him upright again. The whole way backstage, he’s whistling his favorite songs by you and stays glued to you the whole rest of the night – fetching you food, water, a change of clothes, you name it, to the point that Luke wonders if he’s ever going to see his astromech again.

Upon invitation, C-3PO (platonic) will give you an excited “oh my! Well, of course I’ll come!” while waving his hands in the air in excitement. Fancier gigs are much more his forte, but he will eventually get the hang of a more casual one after a few songs. In between each one, he’s bending down to R2 (or whoever he’s with) with a “oh, they’re just wonderful, aren’t they?” Eventually, he can’t resist the urge to clap, even though the metallic CLANG CLANG CLANG of his hands annoys pretty much everyone around him.

Dedicating the concert to him will draw out a shocked “oh good heavens! For me? R2, did they say me? Are you sure? There isn’t another C-3PO in this premises, is there?” before he looks around to double check. Once backstage, he goes on and on and on about how grateful he is to you, how wonderful you were, and then won’t stop telling everyone about how you dedicated “the most wonderful concert” to him for weeks afterward.

Thanks so much for the ask! Sorry this took so long, I was on a bit of a semi-hiatus, but am back now and working on the other asks in my box! Also, thank you to @kaleidoscope1967eyes for some of the suggestions in here!

I think everyone would kind of be in the realm of similar reactions here, but with a few small differences. Everyone is very accepting about you being gender fluid and doesn’t make a huge deal of it, but are very protective of you in different ways. Eventually, they all get a knack for being able to tell whether you’re leaning more masc, fem, or somewhere in between for the day just by your clothes and hairstyle and will adjust pronouns accordingly if necessary.

Growing up as royalty and a major player in both the imperial senate and the New Republic, Leia is always on top of the latest fashions (which I wish they explored more in other media, but I digress). I think she’d be so interested in helping you adapt different clothing and hairstyles to how you were feeling that particular day and loves finding an outfit that either matches or sort of rhymes what you’re wearing to any events—or even just day-to-day wear. Being royalty and a politician, she’s traveled a lot, so this isn’t a new concept to her at all, and she thanks you for telling her with a warm smile and shoulder squeeze before getting down to business for the day. She’s very adamant that you not only have all the gender-affirming things you need day to day, but also that your preferred pronouns are written correctly in all official documents.

And if someone tries to misgender you or discriminate against you in any way whatsoever, Leia will give them the biggest dressing down of their life – no matter the time, place, or audience – and make sure they know to never pull anything like that ever again. By the time she’s done, they’re standing there like a chastised, guilty toddler as they apologize to you. If she had to, Leia would glare down and lecture the entire senate until they not only got it right, but didn’t even think about forgetting or getting it wrong ever again.

Luke is very accepting and wants you to feel safe and welcome with him above all else. He would make sure to give you a soft smile and thank you for telling him before opening up a discussion to make sure he was doing everything he could to support you and learn how he could improve. He does research on his own as well and if you’re also Force-sensitive, he will get you as many custom-made Jedi robes as you want so you have options for whatever you’re feeling day to day. He checks in with you frequently, both verbally and through the Force, to make sure you’re feeling okay and check if you’re using different pronouns from the day before. If you’re comfortable, he starts doing a daily check in via telepathic connection each morning so that even if you don’t have time to talk or are several rooms away, he’s still well informed.

The way he defends you differs a bit from his sister. If someone misgenders you or makes any sort of unnecessary comment, he’ll immediately interrupt and correct them. His face and tone stay as calm and serene as ever thanks to his Jedi training, but you can feel the irritation flowing off of him if it’s anything more than an innocent mistake. If this person continues with their behavior, he’ll correct them again and ask them to be respectful and make it clear in no uncertain terms that he sees any disrespect to you as disrespect to him and that the two of you will be walking away until they can conduct themselves better. Afterwards, he’s checking in on you and apologizing for the experience so gently and doing whatever it takes to make you feel better.

Han being Han of course makes some harmless, playful remark the first time your style drastically changes in front of him. But once you explain you’re gender fluid, he takes it in stride with a “good to know; so what are we doing for lunch?” He tends to be more observant than people give him credit for – especially with those he cares about – and although he gets good at knowing what you’re feeling that day with a glance, still decides to make a “Gender of the Day” game. Traveling around on the Falcon with him puts you in constant proximity and you find yourself stealing his shirts and jackets quite often on more masc-leaning days (which never hesitates to pull a cocky compliment or pickup line from him).

Anyone who dares to make a snide comment gets Captain Solo in full force, with a low “listen here, pal” as he leans across the table and makes sure they know if it happens again, they’ll not only have an angry sharpshooter on their hands, but also a pissed off Wookiee.

To follow up, Chewie (platonic) also is immediately accepting and although you can’t understand his language, you overhear Han keeping him up to date with your pronouns every day. Eventually, you learn from C-3PO’s translation that Chewie goes out of his way to ask someone in the OT gang every morning (and sometimes directly comes to you with the protocol droid’s help) just to make sure he’s got it right. He’s more than happy to help Han defend you as well and even when it’s just the two of you, he gives an ominous growl as he stands up to his full seven feet if anyone gives you trouble.

Similar to Leia, Lando is also well-traveled and an avid lover of fashion. This isn’t a new concept to him at all and in fact, when the two of you meet, he’s already asking what your preferred pronouns are. Like the princess, he’s also always elated to help you adapt your fashion choices and has many things custom-made for you – you can hardly say you like something or wish an aspect of a piece of clothing was a little different before he’s already buying it or having his tailors work on it. He even gifts you some articles of clothing that are a two (or even three!) in one via folding a flap a certain way, zipping something, etc. so that one shirt or pair of pants can double as either more masc, fem, or in between.

He's extremely protective of you, no matter who is giving you problems, and will always insert himself between you and the perpetrator with a hey before correcting them in a tone that leaves no room for argument. Especially with his higher rank in the rebellion, he can easily have someone removed from the room if needed and if Chewie’s nearby, employs the Wookiee’s help as well.

R2-D2 (platonic) chirps and beeps while wobbling on his outer legs to let you know he understands and is more than happy to support you. Although you can’t typically understand his noises, he still will sneakily change code in official documents or computer systems to reflect correct pronouns and if someone’s giving you a hard time, he’ll use one of his little retractable arms to give them a little shock.

C-3PO (platonic) of course is aware of gender fluidity, but has never met someone like you – at least, not that he remembers before his memory was wiped. Ever since then, he’s been glued either to Leia or Luke’s side, so hasn’t had a chance to experience much outside of the chaotic workload the rebellion usually requires. But he’s so interested and excited to ask you questions if you’ll allow, but also makes sure to educate himself on his own. You have to hold back your laughter sometimes when he excitedly comes to you about some new piece of information he found as if you didn’t know it yourself – but of course, halfway through his excited ramble, he remembers who he’s talking to and goes “oh, I’m so terribly sorry” before offering to help you in any way he can, always interrupting and correcting people when needed, and if they don’t back down, telling them point blank “well, I think you’re rather rude.”

Hello, I am in fact alive. Sorry for the semi-hiatus. I've been dealing with some pretty severe neurodivergent burnout, toxic family, and other life stresses.
