I couldn't possibly pass up on the original, it is too cute. So here's my take!
I stayed pretty true to the original although I cropped the pose (for artistic purposes of course not because I was too incompetent to draw the bodies properly no no. Also let's not talk about Data's hand).
Yes x 1000 to this. Colour please. The big swatch of mid grey over the shoulder doesn’t flatter anyone. Need something with a bit more oomph - was this around the time things started being beiged and neutrallled and blandified as a vibe?
A thought about the TNG/DS9 Version 2 Uniform.
It's not terrible, and it does look more practical than the previous two designs in terms of thickness and layering. My biggest issue is that it gets rid of nearly all the color that they had before- a large chunk of the torso for TNG and the shoulders for DS9.
There's an ENTIRE colored shirt under all the grey and black, and we only see like 5% of it at the collar and maybe a bit at the wrist when the sleeves peek out.
Let me see more of that COLOR.
I really like the Captain's variant option, where they can wear a vest instead of the jacket.
I think it keeps the look they're going for without going too far into only really seeing grey/black. It also feels visually lighter or less "oppressive" than the jacket, since its less heavy coverage.
A great idea would've been letting everyone else have the vest, too. Either the vest is the only uniform. Or you can still have both options for everyone. Depending on the character, they might prefer to only wear the jacket or only the vest. And some might switch it up whenever they feel like it like the captains can.
I just think its a shame that these uniforms hide all that color, and the vest is a perfect way to address it.
Geordi and Data are playing a medieval fantasy holodeck game (Dragon's Dogma 2). I'm sure they'll have fun.
(I'm controlling Geordi as the main hero, Data is my AI-controlled companion. I gave him the personality type Calm and Strategic)
Oh my god, Data, we literally just started, and you're already staring at Geordi's ass?
Seriously, within five minutes after getting Data, I was trying to get Data to stand next to Geordi for a nice looking out at the landscape together shot, and he refused to move and was like "No thank you, I have a great view right here 😏"
Some cute things, that feel very in-character, after playing for about 15 hours.
Data's personality dialogue and reactions is definitely him.
Sometimes after a successful fight, they'll low-five and fist-bump each other. Love that.
Whenever Geordi's stamina runs out, Data will immediately try to run to his side and touch his shoulder to give him more. I've also given him the healer specialization.
Data tells off the two hired companions if he thinks they've wandered too far away to protect Geordi in case danger happens or they don't show "enough" respect to Geordi.
Related to when I catch him staring at Geordi's ass, Data does like to stare sultrily at him when idle or we're in a tavern.
I gave Data the ability to throw Geordi high, which I find funny when they do it. Sometimes, the answer is to yeet your man 😌
And Geordi can pick up Data and carry him around on his shoulder whenever he likes, to make it even. Data doesn't complain at all 😉
Comparing the rotations of objects in the Solar System. Just look at them lol.✨🪐
To everyone that's confused, the planet Venus rotates very very slowly, with a single revolution taking about 243 Earth days, and Mercury rotates slowly, but not as slow as Venus.

hi! I’ve mentioned it a bunch already but I’m going to be posting some older stuff to try to get it sold finally. this collage is from 2022!
it’s on a 16x28 inch wood board which is not a very standard size but was fun to work with! I got it when I was getting some 16x20 inch boards cut at the hardware store for school.
I used posters and clippings from vintage star trek magazines! the main engineering decal is from a vintage star trek sticker book that has really come in handy the past few years.
for more info on this collage and how to own it, check out this post with everything else I have ready to go right now!
Not pictured: Picard wondering why two of his senior crew are like this, Worf grumbling because unprofessional, and Riker, Troi, and Tasha holding back their giggles.
