what do all the kids' voices sound like? i like to be able to hear a character speaking when im reading their lines so im curious (o)(o)

GOOD question. i really like describing voices and I plan to when i eventually get the report cards on ao3 (i’m getting there dw… i have 5 left to do haha) but in the meantime ill do it for you nonny

Ichigo - very loud and enthusiastic. yells a lot and always sounds like shes having a good day

Nobuyuki - chipper and a bit gruff. loud and speaks with kind of a twang. like he has family from both kanto and osaka so he talks really fast and sometimes its a bit difficult to understand him but he tries

Naomi - elegant and sweet. can get a bit sharp if she’s disappointed in someone but for the most part its very kind and pleasant to listen to

Yuu - loud and cutesy. giggles a lot, tone shifts around a lot, and her voice is generally filled to the brim with whatever emotion she’s feeling at the time

Keiji - pretty deep. mumbles a lot, stutters a lot. ichigo calls it a mutter on top of a deep rumble i think. natural kumamoto dialect

Hitoshi - kinda average young teenager voice. cracks a lot when he’s angry or scared, but other than that its not really all that remarkable

Hitomi - mid tone, talks really fast. gets high pitched and almost squeaky when she gets excited or scared

Mitsunari - actually kinda high pitched, but talks in a casual and gruff tone to mask it. cracks and gets loud when hes particularly pissed off

Naomasa - deep. smooth. sensual. pretty damn sexy if i do say so myself lmao. also speaks in a natural kumamoto dialect though uses his sexy tone to mask it bc hes embarrassed about it

Kotori - high, sweet and singsong-y. exaggerates it when she’s preforming a lot.

Haruka - kinda loud and annoying, pretty casual tone. really good at drawing crowds with it

Midori - typical high pitched cutesy girl stuff. sometimes it sounds like shes straining it a bit

Naoto - strangely aloof and almost monotone. gets shaky when he gets nervous.

Taiyou - kinda gruff and kinda scratchy, but she has a very warm and hearty laugh. very pleasant to listen to

Asahi - he’s naturally a bit deadpan, believe it or not. tends to force his voice to sound more appealing

Kasumi - high pitched, aloof and almost nasally. often trails off when she’s speaking.

anon i am so sorry for being late on this i’ve been busy with family stuff + trying to get the fic ready to move to ao3 that i haven’t had time to answer asks but now that i can i will! happy holidays to all my readers!!!

Ichigo - embarrassed as heck but will probably kiss the other girl anyway and then gets way more embarrassed afterwards

Nobuyuki - gets pretty giddy, likes to give the kiss rather than receive it

Naomi - doesn't go under it on purpose, just kinda gives a quick peck on the cheek

Yuu - pretty chill about it, leaves the decision up to the other person

Keiji - really flustered about it, but he tries to follow along with whatever the other guy’s doing (to debatable success)

Hitoshi - doesn’t really make a big deal about it, but 9 times out of 10 he has to stand on his toes which he’s not a fan of

Hitomi - also doesn't purposely seek it out, but she just kisses the other person’s cheek a few times and then just kinda scurries off while hiding her embarrassment

Mitsunari - attempts to avoid it at all costs, but if he did end up under it he’d probably either leave or he’d take the kiss to get it over with (likely the first one though)

Naomasa - actively seeks out the mistletoe and waits to see if his ideal person happens to pass by, can potentially get really into it if said ideal person is up for it

Kotori - someone’s got a lipstick stain on their face?? that was probably her

Haruka - ends up slipping off around the corner with the other person in order to avoid attracting attention

Midori - she’s the one giving the kisses so unless you’re about 4’9” you’re gonna have to lean down so she can pepper your face with smooches

Naoto - very much embarrassed about it bc he has little experience with kissing so he just kinda. Lets the other person do their thing and awkwardly tries to follow along before shuffling away

Taiyou - acts differently depending on who the other person is but 9 times out of 10 she lifts them bc she’s stronk and just wants to shower them with love and hugs

Asahi - also actively seeks it out so he can maybe get a score with a cute guy and if that does happen he gets really giddy about it afterwards

Kasumi - stays away from it but if she ends up with a girl there’s a chance that she’ll allow a quick smooch

Another quick announcement

So as some of you may know, tumblr has recently been deleting a ton of blogs and everything has just gone haywire. If it ever gets to the point where everything shuts down, this fangan will be re uploaded to ao3 under the name danganronpa-paradox, and will likely be rewritten into script format rather than using sprites (link will be provided when the account is set up).

Hopefully it will never come to this, but given how staff is around here we can never be sure.

i am alive

hello! you’re probably wondering where i’ve gone to and i’m just popping in to say i’m still kicking and i’m writing as fast as i can! i’m going to try to get up to the body drop written before i start posting again, which is roughly from 020 to 030 + a few plotbranches AND school is currently kicking my rear on top of that, so it’ll be a while before i start posting again story wise, but i will still be around to reblog fanart/other stuff from you guys and answer asks should i get any!!
