There's nothing wrong with liking the show. I still shill my TF fanfic to people in other fandoms because it still means a lot to me. The drama sucked (I was on the front lines for it), the show has its ups and downs too, but I really think there's nothing like it, and it will always hold a place in my heart.

I really appreciate you wanting to keep peace on this account, ive seen a lot of people talking about the SaberSpark video coming out and tbh it has me scared. There’s so little people in this fandom now and we’re already so judged, so thank you for being a safe space and being happy and stuff like that xx

I’ve been here since the pilot dropped and I just didn’t.. really get to participate at that time, so once the actual show dropped, there was just this crazy time where I wasn’t really on tumblr and by the time I returned to my blog and started making content… everyone started going away and leaving it all behind.

It really disheartened me, and I got a LOT of hatred and harassment for loving this show. It means a great deal to me, and I just want to continue spreading my love for it and the happiness it brings me.

You know, I do have an old fic that's sorta like this lol. It takes place several years in the future and follows a new trio of kids discovering Endless. I used it to explore a lot of the darker implications of Endless Island. It's not a direct sequel but hey, a girl has to plug herself. Seventeen Forever is an older fic so it's not reflective of my current writing skill, but I do still think it's one of my favorite plots I've come up with for a story.

It’s actually kinda lonely, being a fan of two things no one talks about anymore. Hope you’re alright Danger & Eggs/Twelve Forever fans.

Iris Opener - A New Disney Television Animation Pilot Found

Character Desings, Storyboard and Stills of 2011 Disney TVA pilot “Iris Opener” created by Mike Owens & Shadi Petosky. The Animation of the pilot was provided by studio PUNY, Disney sorta passed but wanted to do it again but Danger & Eggs went to series at Amazon and had to decline.

A magical girl portal show about a girl who – when she lifts a lid or opens a thing – she may accidentally open doors to other worlds. So it was about learning to control her powers and keeping seals between worlds intact – it had a lot of pre-Rick & Morty portal stuff – using something from one place to solve a problem in another. It had the portal show danger of openers going through multiple doors and never finding their way home – which happened to her parents – her parents left all kinds of clues to their path which were interpreted in various ways by peoples of that realm. Opening a lid to a lava world made a lava gun stuff - but all uncontrolled, So in magical world fashion – she could show up and be mistaken as the chosen one of a prophecy – or a bringer of doom or whatever. Big comedy versions of that lore. Disney sorta passed but then wanted to open it back up and do it again – then Danger & Eggs went to series order at Amazon Prime Video and had to pass —- Shadi Petosky

Danger and Eggs remains criminally underrated.

it still shocks me that people dont know about the huge amount of trans and gay rep in danger and eggs. like this show was a banger, had amazing characters, really unique plots, some of the best interactions in any show ever, and a PRIDE FESTIVAL EPISODE ON TOP OF THAT and so many people have never watched it

It’s a shame Danger and Eggs only had one season. Especially after that cliffhanger it ended on.

Hear anything yet about a season 2? After that cliffhanger they left us during the season finale they owe it to us fans for one more season or at least an explanation.

There's a plethora of reasons why it almost certainly won't happen. Amazon had a gag order with showrunner Shadi Petosky, stating she needed to silence her political opinions. Ultimately she disobeyed. Additionally the development studio went under, following Twelve Forevers public fallout. Shadi also said she'd never do kids media again. Sorry to not have better news.
