I'd be markedly less bothered by bots interacting with my posts if I wasn't sick at the moment. Bots engaging with my posts is like, -1 to the amount of people who actually care.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, CLARINA HERE, HAVE AN ALTERNATE OUTFIT LOL
Also, don't worry: her Sandshrew has the Bug Tera-Type :)
(I wanted to give her a straw hat, too, but I forgot to work it in. Almost gave her a ponytail, but it reminded me too much of Clair from Johto)

"Ninja Historian" "Weapon Historian" "Actual Lawyer"
I'm sorry, but unless I'm actively trying to create a realistic setting, why should I listen and/or cater to these people? Ninja were just glorified spies, actual axes are kinda dinky, and you'd need to have a couple screws loose to actually want to go to court in the first place.
Nah, I'll rather take the fictional settings where ninjutsu is a martial art with some magic thrown in, axes are usable at any size if you're strong enough, and lawyers hit the desk dramatically while interactions between characters endear me to the cast.
Reality is boring and depressing on a good day, so I have a hard time sympathizing with people who want to make all of fiction conform to either (one's perception of) "reality" or what basically amounts to glorified propaganda. If it's not that, then they tear into what other people made, whether it's justified or not. And some of them get PAID to do all this...
idk, this rant was going to happen eventually. Though, sorry if I'm repeating a previous rant...

When your neighbor is playing loud music and it sounds kinda cool but you're still bothered out of principle because most of the music they play isn't cool and it's usually too loud anyway

I don't care what your favorite hobby is. If it gets to the point where you're only doing it because "there's nothing better to do", you need to take a step back and try and do something else until it becomes fun again.
Hobbies shouldn't feel like chores.

Sometimes I wonder what it actually takes to get thousands of notes on a post on this site, but I also don't envy people whose posts do. Not sure what I'd even do with all that attention...

summer is the worst time of year and I do not want to do things in hot humid air. may I please have some cooler air? I can’t find a label on me that says “store in a cool, dry place” but I’m sure it’s there somewhere.

I wanted to make an Eddie Fender-centric comic with this doodle here, but I'm not feeling well at the moment, so you get this instead.

One thing that's... kind of surreal, not as I'm playing it, but only as I think of it, is the lack of Internet Meme Humor in Ace Attorney Investigation 2's script.
...I guess it's for the best it isn't there after all. I mean, I remember how forced that "This is SPARDA" joke was, but pass me some o' that "Clown Fresh Prince" any day.

People complain about Charles Martinet not Mario-ing in the Mario Movie, but no one cared when the guy who says Phoenix Wright's iconic sound bits was unceremoniously replaced with the guy who voiced him in Marvel vs Capcom 3.
...Maybe it only bothers me because I thought OG Nick's voice was a perfect fit for the character. New Nick's just, slightly too deep. If the guy wasn't willing/able to reprise his role, maybe they should have gotten someone who at least sounded like him? I dunno.
"But what about Shu Takumi???"
A perfectly valid point... for the JAPANESE version. Well, maybe that's why New Nick's voice is deeper, to match Naruhodo's? Eh.

Preliminary cut-in art of one o' them "Boss Characters". This one goes by the Herald of Assassination Zealously Ascending through Relentless Destruction, or H.A.Z.A.R.D. for short.

FINALLY on Case 5, though I've barely started it, and... Spoilers below, as always:
*I'm glad Shi-Long Lang's appearance in Case 2 was foreshadowing and not just a cheap cameo. *Good to see Penny Nichols is still adorkable *That actor kid is a jerk, but his theme is cool.
Not enough of a Godzilla fanatic to truly appreciate Taurusaurus, but I appreciate it nonetheless.
Also, is it just me, or did some of the voiced lines get re-recorded for older characters? Franziska's Objection and Mr. Lang's "NOT SO FAST!" sound kinda... different in this collection. I don't think the DS/3DS' speakers were THAT terrible to make such a difference, Especially since Franzy's seemed to... increase in pitch, slightly?
Anyway, I got some resting to do...

Seems like I finally caught what was going around and now I feel much too cruddy. Hopefully it'll be just a 24-hour thing and I can get back to drawing weirdos with boxing gloves soon.

Too many "jokes" are just thinly-veiled, passive-aggressive remarks about things that bother people :(
