If winning races was as easy as people try to make it out to be, then at least three current drivers should have equaled or won more races than Daniel
If 8 race wins isn’t a lot, then why have other drivers on the grid not beaten that number?
#let’s not forget that Daniel was one of very few drivers to pick up race wins during the brocedes title battle era#literally whenever Lewis or Nico left the door open#Daniel was there#he came p3 in the championship twice#including in 2015 aka his first year at Red Bull#I could wax lyrical forever about how Daniel is a textbook case of ‘right place wrong time’#because had he been in that car during Seb’s era of domination#or had he been there right now when truly in his prime#I can guarantee you the title fight would be so much fucking closer#in that red bull Daniel was always right fucking there to capitalise on any mistakes by the dominant team and eat up those wins#I’d say that’s most comparable to the kind of streak Carlos Sainz is on at the moment#because he too seems to be taking every opportunity he can to capitalise on things when Verstappen retires or whatever else#I truly believe that Daniel is WDC material and I’m not just saying that because I’m a fan#he has the skills and the drive (excuse the pun) and the talent#and he proved himself time and time again#and we’re not just talking ancient history here either#Monza 21 for example#he took advantage of the crash between Verstappen and Hamilton and converted it to a race win#and Mexico 2023 too#second race back after his injury put the car in p4 in quali#and finished p7 in a total shitbox of a car#if people don’t think he has talent then I can’t persuade them of that#but Daniel has always been a talented driver with a proven ability#I apologise for rambling in your tags OP but I just get really passionate lol

Hmmmm gotta think…
1. I wear glasses for seeing distance? But I’m only one of two people in my family on both sides all the way to my great grandparents who do. (We don’t count needing reading glasses in old age because all my family do lol) Distance prescription wise it’s just me and my auntie. I have astigmatism and a -6 prescription in one eye, the other is -4.
2. I’m not just an only child, but I’m also the only child in my immediate family (my mum has a sister, my dad has a brother and a sister, but none of them have children) so I have no cousins at all. Explains a lot really considering the way I am lol 😂 not spoilt, we were *poor* poor when I was growing up, more in the socially awkward with the inability to interact with children and people my own age (picture the ‘pleasure to have in class’ and ‘very mature for their age’ child.)
3. Some of y’all OGs might know this already, but I have a bachelors degree in film studies and screenwriting. So yes I am technically a writer by education. Sadly for me it’s just screenwriting, so I’m good at dialogue but shite at everything else. Maybe one day I’ll write a Fic in script format when I get back into my groove. But also yeah I love film, my first love was film (not counting David Tennant, my actual first love) and my specific niches are the Sharknado franchise, zombie apocalypse movies, Chinese martial arts movies and Hollywood disaster movie blockbusters.
