when he’s not actively traversing the universe looking for small pieces and shards for his aeon, his favorite pass time is tending to his garden. it wasn't a surprise to you of course, you knew about his botanistic side ever since you met the guy. where else would he have been getting so many roses?

argenti puts extra care to each and every flower that blooms, to every leaf that sprouts, and to every root that grows. because of the way he takes care of his roses, it reminds you of just how proper and caring he is to you, almost like you're his favorite bud of all.

and ever since you've been together now, you find yourself tending to his flowers and plants when you get the chance. when you're not out traveling to different worlds with argenti, he invites you to garden with him every time.

if you don't know how to care for crops or the sorts, he wouldn't mind teaching you the essentials all the way to the subtle nonnecessities. from the soil type to humidity, from temperature to light sources, he'll give you his tips and tricks.

if you do already know how to grow crops, or maybe you're just a farming finatic, argenti would absolutley love to learn a few farming tips from you. perhaps you told him about a fact that talking to plants help the process of photosynthesis. this would result to him complimenting every flower that grows and bloom, encouraging them and reminding them of their beauty.

argenti loves to preserve flowers that bloom before they wilt, especially those that you've managed to grow yourself. to him, it feels like your essence and beauty was fed into this rose, so it makes sense he would try and protect and preserve it for as long as he can.

sometimes, he even likes to decorate you with different flowers and different kinds of roses that comes from the garden. he loves the way the flowers match and compliments your beauty, making you seem even more ethereal to him.

to argenti, you are his aeon of beauty.

a/n: as far as i know, oroboros is some hungry and desperate aeon who went missing eating the swarm. so as an emanator of voracity, you carry some of the hunger too. i love the interesting idea though, i wanna see some characters that follow missing aeons like argenti with the goddess of beauty…

not much is known about oroboros, much less about any existing followers or even emanators. but when the express stumbled across you in an unknown area of the universe, the first impression you left on everyone was your insatiable hunger.

as far as you could remember, you’ve always been hungry for your whole existence. no food, person, thing, or even planet could fully quench your hunger. however, you couldn't remember when you've become the emanator of voracity. the aeon of oroboros has long been missing, but you don't even remember a voice from THEM.

oh well. when the astral express first encountered you, they immediately considered you as a threat. what if you ate one of the crew members?? what if you ate several?? hell, the entire express?? despite your increasing appetite, you didn't feel a need to indulge yourself in a full course meal in front of you. after all, the express is the first couple of people you've seen after being stuck on this planet for how long?

they were hesitant letting you on the express. pom-pom especially was concerned about letting an emanator on their train. welt, himeko, dan heng, and even sunday were wary about your presence. march 7th and stelle felt like you gave off a weird aura. you were the outcast of the nameless, but you didn't really care that much.

maybe you joined the astral express after the boring and excruciating time you’ve spent hungry (almost starving) on that desolate planet. after all, you’ve been devouring rocks to fulfill the desire for just a brief moment. or maybe you joined because you wish to resume your devouring spree, using the express to travel to different worlds to completely ingulf them. or maybe you’ve joined for the hell of it.

after some time of not trying to eat your fellow crewmates, some started to become fascinated with you, since they haven’t seen a follower of THEM ever. on the other hand you’ve become more interested in a fellow bird boy.

you’ve been noticing that on some late nights on the express when everyone is supposed to be asleep, piano melodies have been echoing in the halls for minutes to hours before stopping.

when you asked sunday who he thought it came from, it surprised you to hear that it was actually him to played the melody. though, he was somewhat embarrassed given his attempt to subtly hide his face with his wings. he plays the piano at night to not disturb anyone after all.

but what interests you isn’t just his skill with the piano, or the way his fingers press each key with passion, no. for some reason, the melody eases your hunger and desire to indulge in anything you see. almost as if you were eating the music that actually filled you up.

so, you sometimes join sunday late at night to watch him play the piano, listening to his stories about each song he’s played for his sister. penacony, land of dreams, you wondered if you’d still be hungry when you go there.

but right now, you’re content with staying on the express and helping pom-pom around with cleaning (you basically just eat the trash to pom-pom’s horror). and as a bonus, you’re spending time with sunday at late nights, easing your own hunger as you devour his melodies and stories with a single bite.

as someone who stuck with genshin, there have also been a lot of issues with the writing in natlan. sumeru and fontaine (the last two regions) had really good storylines, but also the characters were great. though fontaine did have a random banner with a character that is so forgettable it's unreal I genuinely forget she exists. but that's whatever man.

anyway back to the point, natlan, the current region has had pretty boring ass writing and the most boring archon who has no flaws and is perfect. and then to top it all off it has the whitest characters in a region based on areas of the world with populations of people who are not white. oh but there are like, what, two slightly tan characters? yeah. there are actually a lot of darker npcs, at least, but. that's all they are. npcs. like it's an improvement over sumeru also being extremely pale except for only like two npcs. like where are the playable characters that aren't just slightly tan? oh right, because the main fanbase is racist af and will riot over it. (the hoyo app, hoyolab is full of racists throwing tantrums over posts where artists redesign the characters to have darker skintones. it's ridiculous. hoyo doesn't do jackshit about it.)

but yeah the characters in sumeru and fontaine had a lot of depth, but the ones in natlan are pretty flat and it's disappointing. the one character that was actually interesting? yeah they decided to kill him off instead of making him a playable character. (there are debates in the fandom as to whether he's actually fully dead like he'll get released later but for now I'm going to assume he's Dead dead because of the focus hoyo has had on pushing out female characters.)

honestly, i feel like the game has been gradually declining since natlan. i’ve played up until the end of fontaine and called quits because of the lack of diversity in natlan even before it released. i’ve seen a lot of the fanbase and their racism while another side of genshin’s fanbase is a stark difference with trying to call for diversity, which didn’t really do much unfortunately.

for wuwa and it’s latest region with rinascita, i feel so much more immersed in the story, characters, and nation because of how diverse it feels from the previous nation. and seeing as to how its game devs have been taking in feedback and actually implementing it in the game, i hope they see the failure with how genshin has shown “diversity” with their nations and improve upon that.

alright, this is gonna be a comment and rant about the recent hoyo and kuro drama that's recently been floating around. specifically, comparing genshin impact with wuthering waves.

i've been a genshin player since 2021 and have only quit last year because it's gotten old for me. the gameplay for endgame was too boring, constantly grinding artifacts or materials for characters i don't even know i might like. the only region i really remember enjoying was fontaine, because it was my favorite storywise.

the main reason why i quit was because of the disconnect between the game devs and the community, most notably the first year anniversary for the game. the community has also been preaching for more diversity during the launch of sumeru, but they didn't really listen.

take kuro with wuthering waves. ever since day one of their release they have been working tirelessly improving the game by actually listening to the community. the graphics (to me atleast) are so much more immersive, including the music, story, and gameplay.

hoyo is finally experiencing competition with their monopoly in gacha games. of course, there have been other gacha games created besides hoyo as a cash grab. kuro feels so much more passionate, much more than a cash grab.

of course wuwa is not a perfect game. i still have some complaints with the lack of male characters and a couple of quality of life suggestions, but i will always choose this game over genshin impact.

i obviously still play other hoyo games, but with the way they're treating genshin impact and its content creators is completely unprofessional. cracks are forming and it really shows their worry that they might not be the top gacha game anymore after what, 2020? i've always wished they would listen to their community and fanbase because it seems like they're much more passionate about the games they play than the developers who made the game or by those looking after it.

honestly, i'm interested to hear yall's thoughts about the drama that hoyoverse has been threatening their content creators not to make any wuthering waves company. or maybe even your experience with genshin impact or wuthering waves.

sunday - his melodic support

he can’t stand seeing you hurt or ill in anyway. with you being one of his closest people alongside robin, your health and wellbeing is one of his top priorities.

if you’re feeling unwell, say coming with a cold, he won’t hesitate to stop what he’s doing to help get you to bed. what nonsense are you spouting, trying to put other work above your own health??

what? it’s really important paper work that someone requires you to finish it asap? don’t worry, he’ll call them for you and threaten politely request that they extend it for you. he wouldn’t even mind helping if you really needed something done.

sunday would often check up on you while you’re sick. he does this to not only see if your condition is improving, but also to provide food and medication that might help lessen the symptoms.

and the foods he would provide are mainly your comfort foods, heated till it’s warm and would try to spoon feed you if you’d let him.

he would also try to figure out how you got sick, to hopefully lessen the chance of it happening again. exposed to the public during your time out? he’s making sure you’re wearing a mask next time. you walked around in the cold without a coat? sunday’s giving you his spare next time.

he’s very doting on you when you’re sick, and would do whatever it is in his power to help you recover. it’s much easier in penacony as he’ll have you stay at the pavilion, but in the express, he’ll have you stay in his room as he’ll sleep on the sofa.

don’t worry about him, he just wants you to be as comfortable as possible while recovering. he also just doesn’t want you going around and accidentally getting someone else of the express sick!

now, what about more physical injuries? the two of you were on a mission that went along smoothly until you got badly injured. sunday would definitely be internally panicking and shaken, but he does his best to remain calm an do whatever to stop your bleeding.

he would spam send the distress call to the express until someone picks up, asking if it was really necessary to send them over twenty signals. to sunday, it was. to the express, it also was. you’re one of their beloved members after all!

he won’t let you fall asleep while the two of you are waiting for the express. if needed, he’ll hum or even sing a tune, something to distract you from the pain. he might even use a bit his tuning ability to block the pain receptors in your head.

as soon as you get back on the express and get patched up, he’s not letting you go on another mission. he’d rather instead have you stay and recover until you’re fully healed, with him again doting on you as if you were sick.

if he can’t, then he’ll ask someone else to look after you, maybe welt or dan heng. he’s not risking you hurting yourself again.

how christmas would be with hsr characters! ft. sunday, aventurine, argenti

sunday - quality time

you’d be spending the entire christmas day with sunday, possibly including the entire day before christmas too. while he enjoys your company with the entire express crew as they group up to celebrate another year, he also wishes to spend some quality time just with you.

this can range from telling stories over some coffee or tea, or going to different worlds for the holidays, or even caroling christmas music. really, he just wants to be with you for the holidays.

speaking of caroling, sunday would be humming christmas tunes all the time. he loves the holidays not only because he can spend time with you, but also because the holidays always gives him fond memories of when he was back in penacony. even when his situation changed, he wouldn’t take time back if it meant he wouldn’t have met you.

you really wouldn’t have to get him anything for christmas, besides your time. however if you do manage to buy or make him something you think he’d like, he would absolutely cherish it for as long as it exists.

trinkets? they’ll be up on his shelf. clothes of jewelry? he’d wear them wherever it’s most visible. food? he’d gobble it all up. he’s not necessarily picky, instead he’s happy you care about him.

aventurine - wishlist buyer

this man would be so smug about what he’s getting you over the holidays. anything that has been saved on your wishlist online or on paper would appear nicely wrapped right in front of your doorstep.

it doesn’t matter how expensive the item was on your wishlist either, or if aventurine could even afford it or not. some way or another, he’ll get it for you.

meanwhile, if you don’t have anything on your wishlist, he’ll still find a way to buy you a bunch of gifts that he thinks you might like based on your tastes.

he doesn’t usually celebrate the holidays as he could be doing more productive activities, yet he’s beginning to enjoy it more watching your expression as he buries you with gifts. he just loves spoiling you, but the holidays provide an excuse to do so even more.

as for returning gives, he expects at least a ‘thank you’ and lots of kisses and affection from you. after all, doesn’t he deserve it after working oh so hard gambling his money to make enough to get you what you want?

argenti - sentimental gifts

argenti is the kind of guy that loves homemade gifts. he believes it conveys how close your relationship is with each other, being able to gift someone something that’s special to just the two of you.

which is why for this christmas, he wanted to give you something that would remind you of him even if he was away. this could be anything ranging from a photo album containing all his favorite pictures of each other and your adventures together. or perhaps gifts from the world when you two first met.

his favorite gifts to you would have to be romantic letters, paired with whatever reminds him of you. he has an interesting way with words, but he uses that to his advantage when describing your beauty to him.

argenti doesn’t typically celebrate the holidays if he’s out on an adventure, but if he has time he would love to spend it with you on a festive world, giving you a gift mentioned above. after all, he believes all the festivities and celebrations are beautiful.

he’s just like sunday when you’re giving him a gift. he would accept and appreciate almost anything that you give him, because it would be a piece of you he could appreciate whenever he’s apart from you.

sunday - protectiveness

he cares about you, deeply. ever since you joined the astral express, he’s paid special attention to you. he would mentally note your hobbies, interests, likes, and dislikes, because he genuinely wants you to be happy.

after all, you’re the kind of person who listens to his stories and rants without judgment. you’ve listened intently, almost as though you understand him as a person. and while you don’t agree with his methods in the past, you’ve expressed support his goal to help humanity.

you’re someone sunday genuinely feels comfortable around, and because of this he wants to protect you and your smile. it’ll be somewhat hard though, not to repeat his actions from the past.

if sunday didn’t know any better, his first instinct would’ve been to cage you. he would try to talk to welt, himeko, and pom-pom to have you stay on the express for safety. but, learning from his mistakes he knows that wouldn’t slide with the nameless at all. even worse, he knew you would be unhappy staying cooped up even in a gilded cage.

instead, sunday tries to travel to the same worlds you travel to. because of the growing size of the trailblaze, himeko and pom-pom agreed to have two separate trips for two parties in different worlds. originally this wasn’t possible, but thanks to the unlimited fuel that was recently acquired, the express is free to travel wherever they wish, and for however long they want.

you didn’t mind sunday’s company at all. in fact, you appreciated the extra company that he gives whenever you explore. in some worlds, you’ve sometimes helped him spread word about harmony, or helped him gather data to further understand humanity and their will.

if you’re dropping by penacony, expect to stay a day or two while you watch sunday reminisce about the past. he would tell you stories about his childhood in the dreamscape, his dreams, and his concerns about what robin may be doing. while he’s not reminiscing about the past, he would try to take you to his favorite locations to see your smile.

if you’re dropping by your home world, sunday would follow you around as you tell him stories, or things that fascinate him about your world. who knew someone as gracefully as you came from somewhere humble? even if you knew the place like the back of your hand, knowing where to go and what to avoid, sunday would still try to protect you and keep an eye on your surroundings. scanning left and right for any suspicious activity, he reminds you of an owl searching for prey.

sunday would often use the harmony to understand people’s intentions, in case they might be individuals that might harm you. he would support you in battle, (offering you massive crit buffs for big pp damage) and cover your weak spots if you’re not able to defend yourself. if you’ve injured yourself, sunday wouldn’t hesitate to take out the med kit and make you rest until you recover. if the injury is bad enough, rest assured he’ll stick by your side until the express arrives.

while you’re not saving worlds, sunday would often make coffee or tea for the two of you to bond, whichever is your preference. this is typically the time where stories are shared, whether from childhood something else.

I just finished the 2.7 story quest and… Oh Sunday, my sweet sweet bird Sunday…

While one of his flaws was his pessimistic view on humanity, and the fact that he viewed himself as the only person to save them, another flaw that was brought to life was his fear of failure.

I really can see it, him avoiding failure at all costs, and his hesitancy and internal panic he feels when he does fail. It’s like how an academically successful student gets their first F, and suddenly they might start breaking down.

Sunday, trying to break free from the shackles of his past mistakes, joins the Express as a way to heal. To visit worlds and the mortals beyond Penacony just like Robin, he comes falling down from the high authority and gets seriously humbled.

Yet after all that’s happened, I’m glad his intentions are still pure, and his methods to get there have changed. To have the strong support the weak, and to help humanity through harmony.

He’s such a tragic character well written :((

We all know that Sunday would worship you just as much *if not more than* the Aeon of Order. But what if we worship him just as much as we do in real life??

I’m taking about summoning rituals, which could be translated into you trying to give Sunday a gift. Sometimes they get through the bloodhounds as they make sure it’s nothing dangerous, but sometimes your gift just gets blocked completely.

Or what about praying about Sunday… On a Sunday? You could be trying your damn best to get noticed by the most handsome man in Penacony by visiting the Pavilion, or by trying to meet him in Golden Hour.

And if you don’t manage to see him, that’s what praying on your knees at your apartment is for! In face you have a shrine with Sunday’s face! His merchandise!

If he were to find out about your rituals and shrines, he wouldn’t be as concerned or weirded out. He might even have a little shrine of you at his Pavilion consisting of photos and the gifts that you’ve given him.

In fact, he might even feel honored that someone he’s been keeping an eye on feels the same towards him, a being worth worshiping over.

Eventually, all your time spent praying and giving gifts will be worth it…!!

hey guys! a little dan update in case you’re wondering where i’ve been!

school, applications, and finals week have been kicking my ass recently, but with the break starting soon next week, i finally have some free time!!!

unfortunately, i won’t be working on the sunday story for a while… i’ve been dabbling in the art of creating a video game!!! doesn’t mean i won’t stop writing, it’ll mean more simple stories and it’ll be less frequent.

in the meantime, i do intend to post some developing logs here and there to show what i’m making and motivate me to keep going.

ok so like from my e-lit class we read sir gawain and the green knight recently, and the amount i ship them together is to an unhealthy degree that i’m close to writing about the two FROLICKING IN THE FIELDS TOGETHER.
