Right now, I mostly reblog Gotham, Dragon Age, Star Trek: ToS, and Robotnik/Stone. Sometimes other stuff.

Another delightful few photos from my shoot with BryantCox Photography at Magest'25. I can't believe this costume came together so well, it was a joy seeing so many fellow Veilguard fans. I need to make another DA cosplay stat!

Spite is so frustrated, you guys.
Time and space have no meaning where he’s from. He used to craft reality from his whims and thoughts. He used to be very Determined.
Now he’s chained in a place where he can’t do anything. And he wants so badly to do something. Anything.
“I want to talk to Rook!” he demands, but Lucanis won’t let him use the body, even though Emmrich told Lucanis to share. Without it he cannot talk to Rook. He cannot interact with the world. Not like Curiosity with his hands and his feet.
Spite is jealous. But Curiosity and Emmrich are the only ones he can talk to without Lucanis. So he clings to them despite the fact the corpse whisperer will not give him limbs.
“I want to leave!” he complains. “I want to fly! I want to taste candles!”
Emmrich sighs. “Spite, some candles are made to smell good. That doesn’t actually make them edible.”
“That is stupid!”
Curiosity hisses in agreement and invites Spite to play Rock-Paper-Scissors with him, at least the other spirit understands how confusing this strange, deceitful world is, where nothing is as it appears to be.
But then Curiosity gets fire.
“Not fair!” Spite wails.
“You don’t need fire,” Lucanis tells him tiredly.
But Lucanis does not understand. Lucanis never understands.
Where Spite is from, everything is on fire. The raw fade is alive with it. It is what runs through Spite’s veins, and Curiosity’s and Emmrich’s and every other mage.
It is life.
It is warmth.
And Spite is so tired of this solid, dark, prison of a world.
He is cold.
And he wants fire.

I kinda find the insistence that Veilguard portrayed Shathann as a bad mother a bit weird, because my final conclusion after finishing Taash’s entire quest was actually the opposite. Like, yeah, she wasn’t equipped to be a traditional, nurturing mom or anything, and she clearly made mistakes—but the narrative seemed way more focused on showing how deeply she cared. She literally left the Qun to protect Taash, even if she didn’t fully understand how to support them at times. And by the end, she died trying to protect them again.

Why has each game changer in season 7 so far had a Joker bit?
In "One Year Later" we have Lou's Joker wrap:
And then in "You-lympics", Ify says:
And then in "Earnest-est", we have the craziest joker bit so far:
What is happening??? What are they building up to????

So earlier in art class today, someone drew a characters hands in their pockets and mentioned that hands are really like the ultimate end boss of art, and most of us wholeheartedly agreed. So then, our teacher went ahead and free handed like a handful of hands on the board, earning a woah from a couple of students. So the one from earlier mentioned how it barely took the teacher ten seconds to do what I can’t do in three hours. And you know what he responded?
“It didn’t take me ten seconds, it took me forty years.”
And you know, that stuck with me somehow. Because yeah. Drawing a hand didn’t take him fourth years. But learning and practicing to draw a hand in ten seconds did. And I think there’s something to learn there but it’s so warm and my brain is fried so I can’t formulate the actual morale of the lesson.

A little discussed tumblr experience is that when you add a new gif to a post, it goes into the gif library that everyone has access to
Every now and then you get a notification that a user has added your gif to their post and you are treated to a glimpse of a user you have never seen before in a fandom you have never heard of talking about something you will never see again
And it feels like
10/10 experience, keep it coming
