when people like your OCs it is truly one of the best feelings ever. but when they also UNDERSTAND your OCs??? When they say or do something that just makes you go "oh they get it." UNBEATABLE.

Ok, so one of my favorite fantasy tropes is psychic powers. Clairvoyance, telepathy, telekinesis, all that good stuff. So, what about psychological torture, but with psychic powers?

Clairvoyant Whumpee that has painful visions (a classic)

Clairvoyant Caretaker knowing when Whumpee will be taken/hurt (maybe even die?) and not being able to stop it

Whumper can invade Whumpee's dreams and turn them all into nightmares

Whumpee can cause nightmares and accidently does so to Caretaker

Whumper can induce hallucinations and make Whumpee start doubting reality

Whumper and Whumpee (and/or Caretaker) are both/all telepaths and having a "psychic battle" (what that means is up to you to decide)

Scientist Whumper forcing Whumpee to use their powers for longer than they should

Living weapon with psychic powers (need I say more?)

Whumpee (or anyone really) that can't control their powers and it affects anyone that gets close to them (Ex. headaches, hallucinations, immense sense of dread, feeling of being watched)

And more "rare" powers, such as Chlorokinesis (the ability to control plants, like Poison Ivy from Batman) and Technopathy (the ability to control electronics) have LOADS of potential that I wish to see more of in whump. Seriously, like their are so many different ones, get creative! Anyway thanks for coming to my hyperfixation tell your friends about us

I feel like a straitjacket is never talked about enough.

I mean the texture of it, like some are soft loke cotton, others a like a leather. Material that you sweat against anf it rubs your skin.

The anxiety that comes from waking up and you can’t move, you feel trapped and you are trapped and there is nothing you can do.

Then you have to use the bathroom, but everything is so tight that you can’t even relieve yourself if you wanted to.

Youre at whumpers mercy, they can do anything, and I mean anything they want to you and theres nothing you can do about it.

And boy do they always say “it’s for your own safety” but from Whumper? Devastating….

I saw someone Mention the idea of whumpee being branded with whumpers family crest, organization mark, initials, ect, ect.

And I'd like to add to that with the idea of a freed whumpee, being found in the bathroom by caretaker, blood slowly dripping to the floor as caretaker carefully approaches, asking a shaking, tearful whumpee to just hand the blade over.

Caretaker has to clean up the blood from the overlapping cuts and whumpee finally breaks down when they see that the old mark whumper left is still visible.

They promise caretaker they won't hurt themselves like that again but they already know it's not true.

Greetings. I’m a big fan of your novels on AO3 who’s also fascinated by random worldbuilding details.

This question may prove to be a bit random, and please do forgive me if you’ve mentioned this in your writing before, but how much territory does your totalitarian regime have control over, exactly?

Are there other similar regimes in other parts of the world you’re working on?

That’s a good question! No worries, I sometimes forget what I’ve addressed myself 🤣🤣

The Generals, post First Night, went on Total Domination: The World Tour and were met with resistance mostly in Russia. Hence, the South China Sea fight. They installed “loyal” Advisors internationally, and essentially the only place where there’s really rebels is North America and some parts of Canada. This has to do with the benefits and drawbacks of Nikita’s domains, where the way time passes is a 2x buff to whoever is under it allowing for “prep time” in a sense.

More time to rest = better fighting is the logic.

This also has to do with North America having a higher concentration of First Class Advisor level women and all the Generals + Aya being North American.

As Indie puts it in a later chapter: “We’ve already taken down all the governments and the United Nations. We'll soon have full control of all the territories, and then the world. In fact, all the other continents are done as of this past month. We're really just dealing with a few stragglers in the land of the stubborn and home of the stupid. It's all just a matter of time…”
