It started out just as a quick idea but now I'm kind of obsessed with it. I need to see Liege being a wonderful and wholesome parental figure. I also got to try out the purple and gold color palette for him and I think it looks really nice.

Funguary day 28: caesar mushroom

Megatronus. His frame, so large, so mighty. Yet, his spark...oh so fragile.

And with this doodle of Megatronus flying across the evening sky, ends my participation in the funguary challenge!

To be honest, I would have never even thought of making it 10 days into the challenge, let alone draw and post every single day for an entire month

This challenge, even though pretty tough, taught me a lot, and I hope to use my newfound knowledge for my future art

I still have much art to finish (at least the 13 primes mural series I started), so you can stay tuned for those if you'd like

I originally had planned a whole different drawing for today, but yesterday I finally got the opportunity to watch transformers One and I just had to doodle some of the redesign ideas I have for Sentinel Prime

Definetly more doodles of Sentinel coming soon because I really loved him as a character and so many others

I'm currently in my Xara outfit phase and I don't really know when it will end

Funguary day 24: purple pinwheel mushroom

I don't know if it turned out suggestive so I'll put it under cut just to be safe

The purple pinwheel mushroom just looked like a perfect base for a Xara outfit

This mushroom gave me a cute idea of my rescue bots fairy character gifting Cody a ring made out of adorable clay mushrooms

Because Cody would totally befriend a fairy. He would befriend anyone for that matter

Funguary day 22: oyster mushroom

Breakfast at Romeoburg

Oyster mushroom reminded me of many delicious dishes you can make with it, and it lead to me deciding to make an illustration of an average morning at Romeoburg when everything was still going good.

I hc that Val and Soup were great friends of Romeo and lived at his palace/castle and got to enjoy warm breakfast prepared by him every morning. On this particular one, Fred has shared some mushrooms he had picked himself for Romeo to prepare.

I also hc that Romeo has a parrot that has been gifted to him by his father so I quickly sketched him in the background (it's a palm cockatoo)

This mushroom gave me an excuse to draw the headcanon about Onyx making nests for himself all over cybertron

Tried to match the aesthetic I made in my "chicken of the woods" drawing with Fred here

Also I really like how I managed to stylize the mushroom here

Funguary day 19: red basket stinkhorn

Decided to do a traditional doodle of Onyx today for this mushroom and fooled around with ink and markers again

Just a doodle today because the exam season starts tomorrow

And I will probably have to stick to doodles for the rest of the challenge because the exam season will go all the way into spring

This mushroom reminded me of a flower and a dress so much that there was only one correct solution, to draw rba Whirl in an adorable dress having the time of her life

The idea of Xara gaining her power back after Romeo's defeat just makes me giggle and kick my feet like nothing else

Funguary day 16: mycena chlorophos

The glow of the mushroom really reminded me of Xara, so I decided to start speculating about what I want to do for her city, the Oasis.

I really want to move into the direction of solarpunk with her city

For the puffball mushroom, have some ghast lore! I wish I had more time for these so I can put more thought and soul into them, but, alas, I don't. Maybe I'll return to this later.
