Finished completing the first 3 squads of my 6th company. Meaning Basing, Squad markings, and assigning a special- and heavy weapon.

- Squad 1 was very much set from the beginning, being the fist I build from back in the day, including the rhino, but it took me till now to release them from the blank black bases, and decorate them with how I like to do my sand bases. Took the opportunity to remove some remnands of unnecessary superglue connections for a stronger plastic weld bond. - Squad 2 also was batch based, but they got the heavy plasma guy I had sitting on my desk for over half a year when I was batch painting my devastator squad. - Squad 3, my Dark Vengeance lads, I had finished a while, but in spite of me finding every single Marine, I had misplaced their sergeant. So while I couldnt use him to complete the squad, I had finished this old school metal DA sergeant whom I gladly field with them

So here's a look at them all together, along with transport options, my first Captain(which is also my first model), first dread Dread, and first (non kitbashed) librarian who came in Dark Vengeance.

Looking forward to polish and complete my old collection next year.

A model that I knew of since I started collecting, back in 2008. When I got my first model, and with it, my original 4e Codex. Now in 2024 I managed to get him along with some more metal lads. But Him, I was the most exited for, and happy I can put him along with my other oldschool Deathwing models.

Old DA Sergeant model I got second hand. Intimidating painting on metal instead of plastic, but once the paint was on, it's so nice to see all the hand sculpted parts that were on top of plastic parts. Makes me think how I may try and improve sculpting myself.

Either way, lovely model to paint, and eager to have him joint my ranks of old models.
