That's an Order cassian andor x fem! reader
Tumblr media
things could have gone horribly wrong, but they didn't
cute little cassian fluff
(this is my first published writing piece, theres probably so many grammatical errors, so please excuse that)
Your ship ascended above the white salt of Hoth, stirring the blanket of white to reveal the red clay beneath. A gunfight had broken out on the way back to the ship, ever hyperfocused you didn’t comprehend the words being yelled at you by a one Cassian Andor. Everything was fine now, he was safe, you were safe and you had managed to get the drive you were looking for. It was successful in your eyes but not to Andor. You were almost unaware of the anger that bubbled inside of him after he closed the hatch behind you, the last to board the ship. The action that gave his anger away was allowing anyone other than himself to pilot the ship. K-2 was in charge and it was only a few seconds before the sounds of metal doors slamming against the cockpit door frame that jerked you out of your adrenaline rush.
“I told you to leave! I gave you an order!” Cassian yelled at you. You had taken a seat to stop the swimming in your head and the lights of blaster fire shooting from behind closed eyes. He was still standing, clearly unable to calm himself enough even to sit.
“Instincts kicked in.” You shrugged off, “I saw you going back in and I did what I thought I needed to do. We got away just fine Captain, is it a problem?” Maybe the mission hadn’t gone to plan but Cassian always did this. You would follow your instincts and save his ass but he would only see it as you being reckless.
“The problem is you almost died!” Cassian shouted. “You almost die every day?!” You finally raised your voice. “That’s me not you!” “So you’re allowed to die like a martyr but no one else can do the same? Cassian why do you do this every time!” Your voice was the only thing you could hear, reverberating off the metal walls of the ship.
“Because I love you!” Cassian’s voice boomed. It cleared your mind, you couldn’t feel your body, or your heart beating, just a high-pitched ringing in your eyes. Had you just died after hearing those words?
“What?” Your face scrunched in confusion, every sound was muffled. You honestly thought your brain had made up those four words. They never fell from Cassian’s lips, not possible, not to you.
“I…I didn’t mean to say that. Sorry,” Cassian tried to brush past you, but you weren’t going to let that happen. “Cassian seriously what did you say.” Holding your head and bringing yourself to sit back down, the adrenaline was wearing off and you could feel the effects of not listening to your captain. “It sounded like you said you l-…it sounded like you said something Cassian Andor would never say to me.” You laughed it off, breathless, holding onto the scraps of reality. You were in the middle of a revolution, now was not the time to be delusional.
“Then either you heard correctly and think too low or yourself or you are having a hallucination.” Cassian’s anger was gone now, at least you think it is. Your vision is still slightly marred with streaks of light from the blasters. “Cassian, seriously. I don’t have the mental strength to decode your words right now.” Putting your head between your knees you finally ask for help. “Are we going to the med bay?”
Cassian bent down and rubbed your back, “K-2 is taking us there now. We should be there soon.” Cassian took off his jacket and crumpled it into a makeshift pillow. Gingerly he pushed your form to lie down on the bench that occupied the hallway outside of the cockpit. “Rest, I’ll get you when we land.”
You don’t remember getting to the med bay, getting off the ship, or being put into a batca pod but there you were. Panic rose in your system, it alerted everyone outside of the room but the first to your side was a familiar blurry figure, distorted by the liquid you lay in. That brown mess mop of hair couldn’t be anyone other than, “Captain Andor, she will need to stay here for a few days to make sure she is fully healed. Would you like to walk with us to her new room?” Then the memory went black, flashing in and out of consciousness while the nurses and droids wheeled you from the batca room to a new room, secluded from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the hospital. You remember the bright lights of the room blinding you before you decided you needed to rest once again.
When you awoke you had no idea how long had passed but the lights in the room had since dimmed. There was the faintest dip in the bed, some weight that wasn’t from your body. When your eyes adjusted you saw the figure of the famous Captain Cassian Andor mouth wide open, snoring with his head rested against his outstretched arms that were laid right beside yours. If this had been anyone else you would have woken them, wanting desperately to talk to someone. But it was your Captain, your best friend since you two were teenagers, you knew he rarely would rest himself, and usually, his rest was interrupted. You let him sleep, each minute your hand itched to move closer to the one he had in the hospital bed. Only your pinkies were touching when a nurse droid came in— blinding you by turning on the lights and jolting Cassian from his sleep. Blaster pulled out on the poor nurse droid. You laughed causing Cassian to notice you were finally awake.
The look in his eyes made you want to push the nurse droid out of the room but every answer to her made her stay even longer. It felt like an eternity before she said you would be released later today.
“You snore.” As soon as the droid had closed the chamber door. “You do too.” Cassian seemed to be checking over all the vitals, who knows if he knew what any of them meant.  “Cassian, will you please tell me what you said on the ship now?” “What, that you almost died? And now here you are after five hours in a batca pod?” “No smartass, after that.” You thought about it for a second, if you just said what you thought he did and it was wrong just blame it on the wooziness of being under batca for that long. “It sounded like you said you love me.” Even with the excuse already planned you couldn’t help but laugh in case of being rejected.
Silence fell in the room, but Cassian’s eyes said everything. “Kassa…” You had reverted to his old name, his real name. Because now he was trying his hardest to act as if he didn’t know the language you were speaking. “I can read you like a book, but I would like for you to confirm or deny with words.” There was caution in your eyes, you could see it reflected in his, past all the stars in the galaxy that floated in the brown irises.
Still no words, just a huff and then movement, movement that led to his lips locked with yours. Breath being taken away, reality and fantasy blurring together. He pulled away far too quickly for your liking, maybe it was because of some machine in the background beeping erratically all of a sudden. His eyes widened for only a split second before you pulled him back down with you. You swear you could feel him laugh against you. It turned out to be true. A droid came back into the room to check on the machine and Cassian with no shame didn’t move from your figure. His forehead rests against yours, a smile graced his face.
“I love you” He whispered as your attention had to be ripped from him and towards the droid nurse once again. Your heart warmed, and you felt like a schoolgirl all over again. You begged mentally for the droid to leave again. And as if it was magic the droid left, leaving you to now be shocked that Kassa, the Kassa, Kassa from your childhood was smiling at you. You were the cause of that smile. “All these years I wished to be the reason for you to smile.” You said slightly cringing at your own words but Cassian’s gaze made it melt away. “You’ve always been the reason behind it, mi amor.” You leaned into his touch, his rough hands caressing your face.  “That was kind of gross Captain” you smiled up at him, “but I love you so I’ll look past it.” Another chuckle came from him, you felt the vibrations through his body as you did the best you could to hug him from your place in the bed. He kissed your hair, then your cheek, and lips, before grabbing his coat and kissing your hand.  “I’m going to go sign the release forms for you, I’ll be back.” He was halfway through the doorframe when he looked back, “Stay where you are. That’s an order.” “Is that from Captain Andor, or my Cassian?”A burst of confidence was already getting to you. “Captain Andor, soldier.” Voice stern but face was distorted with the cheesiest of smiles. You sat in the bed pinching yourself. How after all these years of pining and hiding it did you get to tell Cassian Andor you love him? and he loves you? An answer you’ll never know but you’ll be sure to get some theories from Maarva.
{thank you so much for reading! i hope you liked it!! like i said this is the first piece ive ever publicly shared so any NICE critiques would be much appreciated... maybe i'll post some more?}

with so many people hating on the acolyte and andor (last year) it makes me feel like I’m not understanding something within the plot. but i can assure you when im watching Star Wars I’m one of the first people to point out inconsistencies within the movies or tv shows. does anyone else feel like they are missing something when a star wars piece of content gets hate but you like it?

Little Flower (Qimir x Padawan reader)
Rating: Fluff | Kissing | Light grinding | A pillow is thrown
Summary: You are the padawan to a masked man you had no name of. You have been by his side for years, training and mastering the arts of what he refers to as the dark side of the force. However, with Mae entering your life as his new favorite, you are beginning to question whether you belong there anymore. Something that you run to your closet fiend to talk about. Who knew confessing to Qimir about your trouble would bring a life changing moment.
“I’m not strong enough for him.” That was the first thing you said to Qirmir as you entered his shop. Borrowed shop? You didn’t care.
The defeat in your tone was enough to alert him of your dismay.
“That’s it. I’m officially useless to him. He doesn’t need me.” You blurted out all of your frustrations to the only person you have ever been able to call a friend, “All he cares about is his new acolyte Mae.”
You were both stationed here with Mae as she completed the next part of her trial which was to kill Master Torbin… Without a weapon.
“What makes you say that?” Qimir popped his head up from behind his counter.
“He’s been making me run these needless errands lately that literally anyone else in the galaxy can do.” You set a bag of powdered gold leaves onto the counter, “This took me an entire day to find and when I go back to the spot I left him, he was gone! Gone! Didn’t tell me where either.” You said frustratingly, “So I figured you might know what to do with this.”
Qimir took the bag and peered inside, a please look on his face as he hummed, “Actually I do. It’s the leaves I need to make a poison Mae requested.”
“Of course it is.” You rolled your eyes at the mention of her name.
Mae seemed to be taking the eyes of your master and Qimir lately. Something that made your eyes turn green with the overpowering feeling of jealousy… Of being abandoned.
“Look, I love Mae and she has become very dear to me, but… I was here first.” You felt like a child for saying that, “I know that sounds selfish, but it feels like he just tossed me aside for a better version.” You looked up at Qimir showing him the hurt and betrayal in your eyes before looking away to try and suppress your feelings, “And maybe… Maybe she is better than me… Maybe I should just take my loss and go.” You spoke in a near whisper, your throat tightening at the thought.
“No!” The way he quickly voiced his answer had you looking up at him waiting for him to continue, “You are strong with the force and an extremely skilled assassin.” He shook his head, “You don’t have to leave.”
You sighed and moved past him and the counter, “But what if he wants me to leave Qi? You don’t understand. It’s like he doesn’t even see me or the power I possess. All he ever says to me is that I’m not ready to become his acolyte and that I need to help Mae ascend yet…” You slumped into the cot that he called a bed with a huff, “I’m older than she is! I’ve been with him longer might I add. I’ve never questioned him, I’ve followed him loyally and this is what I am granted with? To be a baby sitter?”
“One useful skill may come out of that job.” He noted and you missed the blush in his face at whatever he was thinking about…
“And what might that be?” You muttered tiredly as you stared up at the ceiling contemplating your life and how you could just be better.
“You would make a good mother?” Qimir shrugged his shoulders as he tried to had the small smirk on his lips.
You launched one of the pillows on the bed the moment those words left his mouth. It was going straight for his head to which he surprisingly dodged with ease, but that didn’t stop the surprised look appear on his face as he raised his hands in surrender.
“Not funny.” You grumbled and crossed your arms, turning to face the wall with a pout.
“Okay okay. I’m sorry.” Qimir said as he walked over to where you were. When you didn’t turn to face him, he decided to take a seat on the edge of the bed beside you. There was a thoughtful look on his face before he spoke again, “Maybe… Maybe he is looking out for you.”
That got your attention. You sat up, your shoulders brushing against his as you peered up at him with confusion, “What do you mean?”
A nervous blush creeped up his face as you leaned closer to him, “Well I mean… I…” He trailed off nervously, “I just mean that maybe you just might be more important to him than you realize. He could be looking after you to take on a more important role.”
“What’s more important than being his acolyte?” You huffed in confusion as you look towards your fiddling hands, “I remember what he said to me all those years ago when we first met. He promised he would make me a powerful force weirder and that I would stand by his side as his acolyte and now… Now I’m starting to question if he really meant it.”
Qimir’s hand found yours and gave it a comforting squeeze, “He meant it and… You are powerful. Just as you are brave and unlawfully kind.” He assured and it was your turn to blush.
It seemed like he always knew what to say to you in ways that made your heart flutter and your cheeks burn, “Qi…” You breathed out as you glanced at his lips.
He was quick to copy your movements leaning in closer to you as he did so, “Maybe he sees too much good in you to turn you into something your not.” He whispered, his breath caressing your skin.
“You seem to know a lot about what he may think.” You whispered, suddenly lost in his darkening gaze, “Why is that?”
“What can I say? I’m good at reading people.” He smirked slightly as he looked down at your lips again, “I’m also extremely possessive over what I care about. Knowing him means knowing you.”
“Okay…” You hummed accepting his answer, “Alright then mister possessive, what am I thinking about right now?” You mused, a mischievous glint sparkling in your eyes.
It was something the Qimir couldn’t get enough of. It was your playfulness towards him that was like a breath of fresh air against the darkness he was met with daily.
“I would say…” His speech was slow as he traced your face with his eyes, “That you really want to kiss me.” He teased lowly. There was a small grin on his face in knowing that he was right.
He was always right.
“Do I now?” You didn’t try to deny it as you leaned in closer to him, “And you? What do you want to do?”
A low noise emanated from his throat, almost like a pleading sound as his lips brushed against yours, “I want to kiss you...” He said in a way that made your heart yearn for him.
“Then what are you waiting for? Kiss me.” You breathed out, your heart racing wildly in excitement.
That was all he needed to hear as he leaned down to press his lips against yours. Your eyes fluttered closed at the soft sensation in the way that he kissed you. It was delicate and gentle as if he was afraid to push you too far, but the way your arms circled around his neck, pulling him closer to you, was all he needed to know.
He felt like light between your fingertips as you ran your hands through his hair and he was gentle with his movements in guiding you back against the bed. “Beautiful…” He breathed out, fitting himself snugly between your legs.
“Qi…” You breathed his name against his lips, arching your back as he tugged your bottom lips between his teeth. He held himself back, letting go of your lip to really look at you. You couldn’t help but look at him with awe as he gazed at you with so much love and devotion shining in his eyes.
“You are just… Breathtaking.” He admired you with every part of his being, “Utterly breathtaking…” He seemed mesmerized as his right hand traced along your curves.
You blushed, a small smile playing on your lips as you looked away from him embarrassed by his loving words, “Who knew you were such a flatterer.”
He chuckled lowly as he leaned back down to kiss your lips. All too quickly he left and began leaving a trail of kisses down to your neck. You couldn’t help your eyes fluttering closed at the feeling.
“You deserve to be flattered.” He continued losing himself in everything that was you. He rocked himself against you as he held back the urge to devour you entirely. He wanted too so desperately now that he knew you were his, body, soul, and mind. He would never let you go, not now… Not until his last dying breath. “You deserve the galaxy, my little flower.” He muttered softly against your skin.
You have much to learn little flower.
You moaned lightly at the pleasure he filled you with almost kissing his last words, but you heard them. Your mind took a moment to register the deeper meaning behind his endearment, but when you did your eyes opened in realization. It was him. Qimir was him. No one knew about that little nickname except for…
“Master?” You whispered running your fingers through his hair in a gentle manner, but your heart beat widely in your chest as he stopped kissing you.
“Hm…” He hummed a small smirk gracing his lips as he breathed against your neck, “You finally figured it out.”
You placed your right hand on his cheek and gentle lifted his head to face you, “He’s you?” You said in awe as you pieced together every moment up until now, “You’re him?”
“I am.” He searched your eyes for any fear or resistance, but his shoulders relaxed as he saw none.
“So… That is why you were never around when he— I mean when you were training me? Because you were already there.” Your brows furrowed, “Does Mae know?” A small pang filled your chest at the possibility of her knowing your masters identity before you.
He shook his head, “No.”
The pang quickly left, filling your chest with relief as you let out a small sigh, “So… That’s how you were so sure about how he was feeling because that’s what you truly felt…” A blush filled your cheeks at the kind words he said to you earlier.
However, you realized something else as well. He was the one who kept you from becoming his acolyte. You gasped as you smacked his chest causing him to groan and you would have cared for the old Qimir if you didn’t already know how strong he truly was as your master.
“Why won’t you make me your acolyte?” You huffed slightly embarrassed now that you know you spilled your guts to him, “This entire time I have told you how I felt. I am devoted only to you master so why will you not let me become your acolyte?”
“I thought you would have figured that out by now.” He chuckled shaking his head.
Your brows furrowed in confusion, “What do you mean? That is why you train me, it is why you let me stay with you, is it not?”
Strands of his hair fell into his eyes from the way he shook his head. You couldn’t help, but reach up to brush them away, something that had his heart flutter and his lips curl up into a soft smile. He leaned into your touch, his eyes closed as he spoke softly, “I don’t want you to become my acolyte anymore because I couldn’t bear the thought of something ever happening to you.” His gaze darkened, “I would burn the galaxy before that ever happens.”
You smiled softly and brushed away the creases from his brow, “I know.”
“I want you to be mine.” He nuzzled his nose into your wrist before placing a gentle kiss upon in, “I want you to be my equal… Not as someone who does my bidding, not as my padawan or my acolyte, but someone who stands by me.”
“I want you my little flower because you are everything I wish the world to be.” He finished, a soft look in his eyes.
Love swelled up in your chest at the confession he conveyed so deeply to you. His love sealed your fate to him as you leaned up towards him. You brushed your lips against his, the both of you conveying your strong emotions to one another with the look of your eyes.
“You have my heart Qimir and I will stand by your side, always.” You agreed softly.
It was a promise that the two of you would keep without any doubt. He was yours and you were his until the end of time.

for so long
pairing: Cassian x reader
warnings: non graphic injury description, heated make out
summary: When you defy an order and risk your life on a mission Cassian accidentally confesses his love for you in his anger.
word count: 1,325
Tumblr media
Your ship pulled off the ground and you watched as Hoth disappeared beneath you. It was a gunfight on the way back to the ship, but you and Cassian were safe and you had retrieved the drive you came for successfully. It was a successful mission, and it would be difficult for anyone to argue otherwise. Nevertheless you were being yelled at. K-2 was piloting the craft, leaving Cassian free to focus his attention on you.
“I told you to leave! It doesn’t matter what I do! I gave you an order!” Cassian yelled at you. You had taken a seat on a stool at the holotable. He was still standing, unable to calm himself enough to sit down.
“So, I was just supposed to leave you there?” You asked. “We got away fine, Andor. I don’t get what the problem is.” You were exasperated by Cassian. Sure, the mission hadn’t gone to plan, but it wasn’t that bad. Everyone was okay and you’d gotten what you came for.
“The problem is you almost died!” Cassian shouted.
“You almost die every day!” You snapped.
“That’s me, not you!” Cassian yelled back.
“So, you’re allowed to be in danger, but I’m not? Why?” You asked angrily.
“Because I love you!” Cassian shouted without thinking about it. The ship fell silent.
“You love me?” you murmured in question.
“I…I did not mean to say that. I’m…sorry,” Cassian said as he avoided eye contact with you.
“Cassian,” you called. “Do you really love me?” Your voice was light and sweet. It was the same voice you used with him whenever you were patching him up.
“I…We’re partners,” Cassian deflected.
“I know that, Cass.” The use of the nickname made Cassian’s heart skip a beat. “I asked if you love me.”
“Y/N, we should not talk about this,” Cassian said. He hadn’t made eye contact with you once since his confession. You stood up and approached him. There was only about a foot of space between you. Cassian turned his head to look at K-2 in the cockpit.
“Cassian, look at me,” you requested. Cassian pressed his lips together tightly before turning his head to look down at you. You reached up and cupped his jaw in your hand, his stubble scratching your palm lightly. You started to lean towards him slowly.
“Y/N, we can’t,” Cassian whispered. You could feel his breath against your lips.
“Why not?” You asked, maintaining your closeness. Cassian didn’t move away either.
“We’re partners,” he said. You gently ran your thumb along Cassian’s cheek. It was only another moment before you felt his hands gently resting on your hips. His touch was light. He was nervous. He still wasn’t sure he should be allowed to touch you at all.
“Do you love me, Kassa?” Cassian blushed brightly. He’d told you his birth name once during a late night stakeout. He didn’t think you even remembered it. He loved the way it sounded coming from you though. It made him feel like you really knew him. Like you were his family.
“Yes,” Cassian admitted quietly. “I love you.” You smiled softly. You leaned forward and kissed him passionately, tongue pushing into his mouth. He hummed in pleasure when you tugged at the hair at the nape of his neck. You released his lips but kept your foreheads pressed together.
“I love you too, Cassian,” you said.
”I’ve wanted you for so long,” Cassian murmured as his hands gripped you tighter, pulling your body against his. Your hands found a place on his broad shoulders. You slid them to the collar of his jacket. You started to push it off him. He quickly began to aid you, but you stopped him when you saw a blood stain on his shirt.
“Cassian, you’re bleeding!” You exclaimed. He glanced down.
“It’s a graze,” Cassian said. “We can deal with it later.” He tossed his jacket all the way off. You lifted his shirt. He continued to help you but his expression dropped when he realized you were just examining the wound.
“Baby, I’m fine,” Cassian sighed as he tossed the shirt off. You smirked.
“‘Baby,’ huh?” You teased him as you carefully examined the blaster graze and burns around it. Cassian’s cheeks warmed.
“Is that alright?” He asked. His hands moved to your waist as your eyes searched the rest of his body for other wounds he was ignoring.
“It’s alright, honey,” you said with a smirk. Cassian grinned. “Now sit down. I’m going to get a medpack,” you finished. He huffed quietly. He didn’t release you. “Let go, Cass,” you said in a sing-songy voice.
“Can’t it wait?” Cassian pleaded. He leaned forward and began pressing his lips to your exposed neck. “Aren’t we in the middle of something more important?” You gave his biceps a squeeze as you pushed him away from you.
“We can get back to this once I’ve finished patching you up,” you promised. “Sit.” Cassian pursed his lips, but took a seat and waited for you to return with the medpack.
When you did you sat across from Cassian. The graze was just above his waist on the side of his body. You dug out the antiseptic and found a small cloth.
“Lift your arm,” you instructed Cassian. He sighed but did as you asked. You leaned towards him and began carefully cleaning the wound. About ten seconds into your work he put his arm down and reached out to push a loose piece of hair behind your ear, leaving the hand to rest on your cheek once he had. “Cass,” you warned.
“What?” Cassian asked, feigning innocence.
“Just let me finish taking care of you,” you told him.
“I want to take care of you right now,” he said, moving his other hand to your thigh.
“I’m serious, Cass,” you said. “We aren’t doing anything until I’ve got you all bandaged up.” He pouted as he pulled his hands back, earning a giggle from you.
“You’re laughing at me?” Cassian exclaimed.
“You’re just so cute, honey,” you said. His cheeks heated at the compliment. You removed a piece of ash lodged in the wound. He winced.
“Sorry, Kassa,” you cooed. “I know it hurts.”
“I’m alright, baby,” Cassian said. “Don’t worry about me.” You put down the antiseptic and took a bandage in your hand.
“I’m always going to worry about you,” you said sweetly. He took a piece of your hair in his fingers and was twirling it around his finger. You put your hand against his side again. You were about to put the bandage on.
“You’re taking a long time,” Cassian complained.
“Quiet, you,” you said. “I’m almost done.” You laid the bandage down over the wound carefully and sealed it to Cassian’s skin. You leaned down and pressed a kiss over the bandage before sitting back up and looking at him with a smile.
“Are you done? Can I kiss you now?” Cassian asked eagerly. You chuckled lightly.
“Yes, Captain Andor,” you teased. “You can kiss me now.” Cassian growled.
“You can’t call me that now. K2 is still here,” he groaned. You giggled when you realized how he felt about the title. You recalled that after your first week of working with him he asked you to stop using his title.
“Just kiss me, Cassian,” you murmured.
Cassian didn’t waste another moment before pushing his lips against yours. His lips were warm despite the fact that you’d just departed the cold of Hoth. You took his bottom lip in your teeth and tugged for a moment before he took control and pushed his tongue into your mouth.
You were growing lost in the feeling of Cassian’s mouth against yours, totally and completely addicted to his taste already. Time or space didn’t seem to exist anymore. There was nothing but you and Cassian. You were his and he was yours and nothing else mattered.
