They both had very bad parents so they pretty much had to help each other survive by whatever means possible

They were saving up money and had plans to run away together to another planet before Darcy stole the money and left on her own

She broke Riven’s heart when she revealed the Trix’s plans, he broke Darcy’s heart right after when he stopped calling her Jennie, stopped having hope that they could make it work

They really did love each other and they will always be each other’s biggest ‘what if’

Musa's voice actress basically voices Sofia Carson and Sabrina Carpenter but is also Bridget from Total Drama, Clawdeen Wolf, Operetta and Spectra from Monster High, Darling Charming from Ever After High, my baby Amu Hinamori, Rainbow Dash and so many other characters... Like this woman voiced in so many things!

Tecna's voice actress isn't only an actress but also a producer and a comedian and she's the voiceover in Barbie Fairytopia!

Aisha is Princess Celestia and Cynthia from Pokemon

Stella is Ludmila Ferro and it actually makes me laugh a lot because Ludmila is Stella if she was "mean"

Not Darven related but Cindy deserves this win. She is an adorable girl who lives her life and she's not fitting the annoying stereotype that the "fat girl" has been for ages. She's a wonderful woman who lives her life without letting her body being a subject. It's a no subject. And yes I bring it as a subject because I find it important to have princesses who are beautiful without fitting the top model idea. Cindy is Cinderella because she's an adorable character who always lets her kindness and generosity shine. She's awesome.

A delightful modern retelling based on the Disney version. Fat shoe-obsessed fashion designer Cinderella, goes on a Bachelor style dating show. She absolutely knows her worth

Elle:

She goes to a sci-fi convention in cosplay of her favorite show and meets the actor playing the prince in the upcoming movie. The show is her main connection to her dead dad, and her stepmother and stepsisters disparage it. It's the story of Cinderella told in a celebration of fandom. Very sweet.

I love love love this book! Totally forgot it was a Cinderella version until I looked at the list and got reminded.

That was just heartbreaking because of how real it was. Like Darcy desperatly wanting him to be with her but also needing him to respect the way the things are while Riven is also so in love with her but so vulnerable and having his legit trust issues... They break my heart every time

summary: Season 1, episode 19. The Trix are taking over the magic Dimension starting with Cloud Tower. Riven doesn't agree with these plans and finds himself locked away in the dark dungeons of the castle. Darcy however hasn't fully given up on him yet…

I might spoiler here a bit so please read the fic first and then return here if you like :)

I had the idea for this one already when I rewatched s1 earlier this year. Now I finally put myself together and wrote it. There will be another ff explaining the exact situation. As one can read in this version, it wasn't the Trix betraying him in the first place. It was Riven telling Icy that their plans would fail. And Icy is not the kind of girl who takes criticism easily. So she was: "Bye Riven, go to the dungeons and die there please" :)

I definitly think that Riven would have called her out on the “crazy psycho bitch part” and she would be like “I know it was maybe a little dramatic but....” And well still being the baddie she is, she would try not to trigger Riven with her ideas of conquering the world. She would obviously still want the power but she also knows that Riven is one of the most precious things in her life and she won’t let anybody take that from her. Like never. Which definitly would lead to some arguments between her and Icy. Also Riven still is a specialist and stay friend with those who are smart enough to differenciate Riven from his relationship and like him for who he is without rejecting him because he loves a witch. It’s not a lot but I feel like Nabu and Helia obviously would still be friends with him (Helia calling him out like he did in S2 on his sometimes excessively rude behaviour before becoming his BFF), Nabu being Nabu and them becoming friends with a little fight. And Timmy would still try to understand. As much as I love Brandon I feel like he would stay forever by Stella’s side and refuse to talk to Riven because of the Trix and what they did to the Winx which is quite romantic too. Plus he’s loyal to Sky and Sky and Riven NEVER got along so they wouldn’t. Considering who are Riven’s friends I feel like he could have had a really good relationship with Darcy because his entourage would never let it become toxic for him and they would also try to get to know Darcy and finally understand why Riven is so desperatly in love with her. She would also come to like these guys who are nothing like her and they would try once or twice to do something with the guys and the Trix but I can only see it as doomed from the start. The potential they have is so huge that we could imagine so many stories about them... I just love them so muc

What would have happened if Riven had decided to stay with Darcy at the end of the first season? How would events unfold?

Would be Darcy and Riven would be bitch and idiot villains in love?

I need ideas, I have never been able to develop this AU in my head.
