I think some of you need to respect starkid a lot more than you do. Both as a company and the actors themselves. They give us so much, but it feels like so many decisions they make get backlash for one reason or another. It’s just sad, because they’ve worked so hard to get themselves to a point or making such high quality theater and than get shat on by the same fans who got them to that point.

Starkid doesn’t owe you anything. They don’t owe you space baby on YouTube or a private showing of TGWDLMR where you can scream your head off as much as you want in the actors faces. This is theater, and this is an independent company. Please be respectful of them, not only to the actors but the backstage crew and everyone who’s worked on it.

Shoutout to Superman (2025) for making it incredibly fucking clear that Superman is for good people. He’s hope. He’s love. He’s supportive. He’s an immigrant. He supports Palestine. He loves animals. He protects children.

If fiction didn't affect reality, then fiction would not exist, full stop.

People make fiction because they find a certain theme or plot or concept to be appealing or fascinating. They are interested in it in some way, and reflect their real-world experiences in their works. Through fiction, writers and artists share their real-world experiences with other people who, shocker, also live and exist in reality. Fiction is a form of communication, even if it's just someone's mary sue warrior cats OC story or whatever.

We engage in fiction because we like to feel things. If a story brought you absolutely no emotional reaction, would you ever want to read it? Hell, nobody would willingly even read nonfiction if it wasn't interesting to them or brought something of their real emotions, even if its just "Huh. Neat." Fiction exists to communicate real world experiences, themes, or just lived emotions. We read fiction because it impacts us, and we're obv real people. If fiction didn't effect reality, it would not exist because nobody would care to write it and absolutely nobody would care to read it.

I really really love that Boomerang eene au you posted about around the start of July.

That was one of the first episodes of eene that i watched, and my only complaint is that we didn't get more of it. So seeing you draw it made me very happy :)
