Today is the final day of Inktober. Today's word is "mask". So I drew a character. I guess "OC" is the word you kids use right? This piece took me like, four hours. I'm not satisfied with it. There's too much wrong with it. But heeey, like with every piece, there's stuff I love about it! I am so, so satisfied with the helmet side. So much. Any who, um quick bio: This dude is a general who runs around in a machine-exoskeleton shooting/stabbing aliens and demons with his automatic shotgun/flame thrower/grenade launcher, which also has a bayonet attached to it. He was once a soldier, until he lost his skin and flesh to chemical weapons. His buddy put his body into an exoskeleton, and that friend remotely controlled him until he regained use of his muscles. This general never regained his skin, and most of his vital functions have been replaced with his suit. Would that make him an cyborg? I think so. Closing thoughts on Inktober: Super fun! I'm curious if every month has a thing. Who knows. I really need practice, and I need to hone my skill. I'm not very good at this art thing 😂 Sometimes, I'm somewhat ashamed. But hey, you gotta fuck up before you get better right? I'm still in that stage of "fucking up" I suppose now I can get to D&D commisions. Today is day 30 of Inktober. Today's word is "found". I drew a skeleton doll that found a skull. Maybe a skull from a living creature? Today is day 28 of Inktober. Today's word is "fall". So I drew someone about to fall off a building. This piece took me 15 to 20 minutes, with no prior planning. I just drew what ever came to mind. Today is day 25 of Inktober. Today's word is "ship". The first kind of ship which came to mind was a spaceship. I'm not the best at drawing machines from memory (I'm terrible). So I drew an organic, fleshy spaceship. It's outfitted with a number of guns on it's front and numerous windows with turrets poking out on its sides. On the top and bottom are more turrets, and the back are its thrusters. Today is day 23 of Inktober. Today's word is "Juicy". So I drew a "juicy" skeleton. Hear me out. It's a bio-mechanical skeleton right? And a whole bunch of juice is leaking from its skull and onto its chest piece. Also, it has a big, leaking stomach. Its juicy because it has a leaking face and tummy. I started with its chest. Then I drew arms and legs. I wasn't sure how to draw a head (or if I was even going to give it a head at all). I felt as though that this particular creature needed a head to look complete. So I drew a head last. And I ran out of room hahaha. But hey, it's not too bad. Today is day 21 of Inktober. Today's word is "furious". I think. Here's another 15 minute drawing! Heck, this one might have been 10 minutes. I'm really pressed for time right now. I just got off work. I drew a demon hamster. It's skull and flesh are contorted, to make it scarier. And angrier. Today is day 19 of Inktober. Today's word is "cloud". Or "clouds". I forgot. Any who, here's another rushed drawing. I spent less time inking *and* erasing this piece than I did pencilling it. At least, I think so. This one took maybe 40 minutes total. It's a large creature with hanging sacks which floats in the sky with a great big sack. Today is day 18 of Inktober. Today's word is "filth". I was thinking about drawing a monster made out of trash. It would have had a body (or arms) made of trash cans and whatnot. Instead, I ended up with this organic life form. I'm going to justify it by saying that it can be found in polluted deltas (its not a cop-out because I'm being creative right?) It has large claws backed by giant legs, which could serve to smash open sources of food. Perhaps it feeds off of decay? Yes! It could use it's mighty legs to break open decaying matter (like logs) and it's worm-like appendages to feed from the pieces. Today is day 17 of Inktober. Today's word is "Graceful" So I drew a graceful combination of flesh and machine. I imagine that you could swap out arms or weapons where this big metal cans are. This one actually took about an hour and a half, maybe two. It took some planning. It strongly resembles another creature I've drawn before, although that creature was not mechanical. Although I'm not super proud of this drawing, I'm impressed by how adept I've gotten with a pen. Today is day 16 of Inktober. The word for today is "Fat". I don't knew I drew. This one took me about an hour, tops. It looks like a big ol ambhibian. It has two legs, and no arms. I'm not sure what it would eat. Judging by it's large, flat teeth, I imagine that it is a herbivore of sorts. This piece is set in a swamp. It has fish eyes. If you look closer, you can see the peanut butter I chowed on last night hedonisticly. Hedonisticly is actually a word? Holy wow? I should use this word more often. Also, you can see the blush yaht I use regularly. I still don't know the color of it, because my memory is so bad. I could look at it right now, but I'm not up to move two feet away from my chair. Today is day 14 of Inktober. Today's word is "fierce". I was liking where this idea was heading when I drew this. Then I decided to study for an upcoming midterm. Then I had to work. Today is day 13 of Inktober. The word for today is "teeming" I was thinking about drawing a bunch of rats, but I never got around to it. Instead, I drew something which holds a bit more significance to me than than rats. 😂 Although, I really do love rats. They are so sweet. Today is October 13th, the day Thailand's King passed away.
