Shinigami Folklore

Honestly, I don’t like this song that much. But the PV... Dang. That’s some impressive animation.

Anyways, I couldn’t find an English translation for this song. I could find a French translation, though, and although I would not call myself fully fluent in French I was able to read it well enough to tell that the lyrics describe what happens in the video with little extra detail that you can’t pick up just from the visuals.

Also, kinda cheating here since Maiko is an UTAU.

This song’s a bit older than most I showcase. Its translation is also a bit more shady, as although there is a translation in this video it’s not on the Vocaloid Lyrics Wiki or VocaDB... That said, it is a classic (at least to me), and I think it can be appreciated even lyricless.

Not quite done whipping up a list of fanfic ideas that I might actually write, as a) I’m also cleaning up my ff.net profile, b) I’m trying to cut it down into only the ideas that have been on my to-write list long enough to know that I wouldn’t run out of enthusiasm a week after starting them, and c) I made some horrible class choices this term that will make finding time for writing hard.

If I get it out in the next few days, know that I’m risking my physics mark and be grateful. Or maybe I should just be responsible...
