Do you think project libitina could possibly ruin the game when dan decides to release it in 5 years , I’m not sure how to frame the question just do you think ddlc should remain as it is with no sequel or not

i honestly don’t think project libitina is gonna be ddlc the sequel. i think it might be loosely connected, or maybe have some easter eggs about ddlc but that’s about it. think of an undertale-deltarune situation. my opinion is that it’s gonna be an entirely different story with different characters and some ‘look! a ddlc reference!’ moments thrown once or twice

that being said, i am still excited for the possibility of it releasing. not sure if it ever actually will, because it’s been like, what, eight years? but you never know. what i am worried about is people going into it with the thought process of ‘it’s gonna be ddlc2’ and then get disappointed when it’s not that

i honestly don’t see a reason to not trust team salvato with the game, i already liked one of their works, why not a new one? but i am worried about them dealing with the expectations of the fans. again, it’s been so long since project libitina has been a thing that people have built up their own idea of what it will be, and if it’s not anything like it they’ll riot lol. so i’d say that’s my concern on whether it would make or break ddlc, but i’d say that’s an issue with fandom not necessarily the game

guess we’ll have to wait and see though!

Considering I met you via a Monika ask on tumbilaer dot com it only seems fitting to add some more details in have about her in my head

So because its summer and a fucking miserable

90 degrees ferinhieght [feels like 99] I got reminded that she likes hot weather! Somehow! She probably didnt live anywhere humid because oh my fucking god

Anyhow!

I've stared before my opinions on how her preference for warmer weather could be linked to her desire to feel real, or just have that respite of existence in a way, as feeling cold can commonly be symbolically used to represent someones own personal emotional struggle for lack of feeling or emotion, with the inverse being to feel hot, which can in my opinion be interpreted as her rather being overwhelmed and overstimulated to be compared with being left quiet, nothing

Now my wording here might not be the best at conveying things of course, I do struggle in some manners, but still

The overstimulation or just general bliss overdose thing i talked about is definitely something I do think she partially has issues with, because as long as you're feeling something, you have to be real? Or at least, if you feel something than at least it feels real

But, temperature aside, the reasons I think she prefers summer is also because she yearns for those memories more

Think about it a bit and like

She hasnt experienced any summer break, not really, nor any festivals to think of it

Which is heartbreaking, rip monika you would have loved. A pride parade I think, probably

It makes a lot of sense for her to prefer summer if she yearns for summer memories and the sense of life that it gives, because the fact is that she'll know nothing but the club, and by extension school which like get this girl OUTTA there!!! I know she's studious but still she's gotta!! Go to the beach and, I dont know what people do at the beach, she needs to get buried in the sand
