I devoured Berlin Angel in a day and have been thinking about it since. It is just wonderful. It’s been a while since I have been to Berlin but Kreuzberg was my favourite hood back then and I could picture it perfectly through Remus life there. Now I am craving a little holiday there, with your map as a guide 😊 (funny story, my first time in Berlin was in… February! 🥶 I loved it anyway 😉)

I am in a phase of life where I write almost exclusively in the academic field. I miss creative writing but I find little time to sit down and produce something of substantial size. I am dabbling into other types of writing, more in line of long form non-fiction on Substack. Not sure anyone from fandom would be interested in my opinions/observations though so I haven’t been talking about it here yet ☺️

I see my stories as something akin to my own version of American Horror Story (without the horror, or anything American tbh), with the same actors playing different roles in different universes. Familiar faces making you wonder - how will this one play out?

if the person who uploaded big blue sky to this website sees this, please remove it. I don't know how I can make it any clearer that I don't want my fics reposted anywhere in any format. I literally have this note at the top of every fic, and have done for years:

the fic is on ao3 - you can read it on ao3. you can download it from ao3 if you want to. you don't need to be uploading random PDFs to other sites.

I don't want to have to go through the faff of submitting a DMCA complaint and it's really unfair that I should have to spend my time doing that, but I will do if this doesn't get taken down. please just get rid of it, thanks.

if this keeps happening then I'll just have to remove all my work from ao3 and you can all do a big clap for the people responsible.

I think it’s nice people want to put time and effort into translations but just as a PSA: don’t do this. Don’t ask an author through the ask feature anonymously. I have no way of contacting you for additional information or other matters if you don’t at least ask with your real username attached. Fanfiction is still intellectual property which authors put a lot of effort into producing and I, for one, do not agree to translations easily, as I have posted multiple times before. Please be considerate 🩷

My second rebind of Berlin Angel by @de-sire-blog

Berlin Angel was my second bind of a fic and looking at the old bind, you can see it. Different paper, different resources for cover design and crafting skills/tools

I reworked the typeset and designed a new cover

The endpaper is the google map of Berlin

The headbands and bookmark is some ribbon I bought in Copenhagen last year

I love choosing a photo for each chapter. It’s the third bind with this design and I really like it (tell me if you want to see all the chapters)

The cover put up a fight. I spend weeks choosing a design and then my printers didn’t want to work with me. I did settle with what they were willing to give me (even though I know I could be better)
