Prowler to release "Enter The Night" on Friday 13th
Our very own punk rock powerhouse Prowler have been extremely busy working hard on their brand new full length album and we are stoked to say that we have an official release date!
Friday September 13th will be the date that 'Enter The Night' hits New Zealand stores and digital retailers worldwide.
As always you will be able to pick up the record on iTunes, Amazon MP3 and loads of other digital retailers as well as streaming the release in it's entirety on Spotify! The blistering 8 track studio record is packed full of anthemic sing-along hits produced by Chaz Rabble who helped to take Prowler's sound and aggression to the next level, resulting in one hell of a New Zealand punk rock record that will no doubt solidify Prowler as a household name.  Stay tuned for album release show details and Australasian tour dates in support of 'Enter The Night'.

Our most recent signing Prowler are getting ready to begin pre-production on their debut album.
Off the back of an extremely busy 2012 which saw the band sign with Deadboy Records, Prowler launched into the new year by supporting US legends The Bouncing Souls and announcing plans to begin work on their highly anticipated full length.
For fans of The Bronx and Fucked Up, the brand new record is slated for a mid-year release and will be supported by a heavy touring schedule across New Zealand and Australia.
Keep an eye out for the first single and music video from Prowler being released over the coming months.
Get excited, this is one band that's definitely going to be on everybody's radar in 2013.

Deadboy Records proudly welcomes Prowler!
We are excited to announce our final signing for 2012 with Auckland's punk rockers Prowler.
Prowler formed in early 2011 from the ashes of such bands as Dole Day Rage, Ghost Echoes and Wolves Of Night.
Collectively, Prowler brings to the table a wide range of influences from their previous bands with an in-your-face aggressive and emotive, rock n roll style of punk rock in the vein of such bands as The Bronx and Fucked up.
In the space of one year the Auckland 5 piece has already managed to release a debut 3 track EP recorded by Dave Hine at Auckland's 'The Dank' (Missing Teeth, The Murderchord, Leeches) which received rave reviews and plays on Auckland's 95bfm radio station.  Prowler pride themselves on their energetic live show and have worked their asses off touring around the North Island playing with such bands as Shitripper, The Outsiders,The Murderchord and Leeches as well as supporting Melbourne's The Tearaways on their 2012 NZ visit. The band will finish 2012 in fine style playing today at New Plymouth's mammoth event the NZ TATTOO AND ART FESTIVAL alongside Bleeders and Kitsch. 2013 is set to be a big year for the Prowler boys with an Australasian tour already in the works and a debut full length album on Deadboy Records.

Deadboy Records expands into Australia and welcomes new artists Bloodsport
We are excited to announce some big news that has been a long time coming.
After many negotations, talks and meetings... Deadboy Records will be expanding it's territory into Australia.
It was always a logical step for us to expand our business and to eventually begin to develop the label across the ditch.
It will be a long, slow and careful process that we are extremely realistic, but optimistic about.
We have partnered up with likeminded independent label and distributor New Justice Records, based out of Sydney, NSW.
New Justice Records will license, market and distribute our Australian releases as of June 2012 and we are very happy to be working closely with label president Sam Rilatt as we begin to expand into further territories across Australasia. As a hardworking independent label which has focussed strongly on heavy and alternative music, we have seen a huge amount of growth for our label and brand over the past years and the support of our artists and fans means the world to us. With the current climate of the music business putting many conventional record labels on shaky ground, Deadboy Records will continue to focus on developing and assisting our artists in every aspect of their musical career and continue to push the envelope, moving forward in the physical, digital and live formats of the music industry across New Zealand and Australia. Our first Australasian release comes in the form of our latest signing from Adelaide's heavy hitters Bloodsport.
Bloodsport are one of Australia's most punishing hardcore acts playing a raw, aggressive sound in the vein of Shattered Realm and Hatebreed.
The band has toured and shared the stage with the likes of Madball, Bishop and Death Before Dishonor.
Bloodsport's debut full length album 'Imprisonment' was released on Skull & Bones Records in 2008 and saw the band play many tours across Australia and New Zealand in it's support.
Almost four years later, we are extremely excited to be releasing their highly anticipated sophomore studio record 'Blackest Darkness' which is a huge step forward for the band.
Clocking in at just under 18 minutes, this 11 track slab of relentless, in-your-face hardcore holds no punches and is set to be one of the most heavy Australian releases of the year. As always, our releases will be available in stores throughout New Zealand via Universal Music and online globally on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.
We look forward to future growth and seeing what the coming years will bring for Deadboy Records and our growing stable of breakthrough Artists.
Thank you all for your continued support.
Vasely and Angelo

Deadboy Records proudly welcomes Perditionist
We are proud to announce the addition of Perditionist to the Deadboy Records roster.
Taking influence from many elements of the extreme metal genre, Perditionist create a truly unique and relentless mixture of heavy and punishing music.
Since their inception the band has played alongside US metal legends such as Nile and Hate Eternal as well as the cream of the crop of kiwi metal such as Dawn of Azazel, Subtract, Just one Fix and In Dread Response to name a few.
Perditionist's first single 'Existence Devoured' enjoyed heavy airplay across New Zealand radio and helped to spread word of the band and their sound to a wider national audience.
Having signed with Deadboy Records, the band's debut 'Forever in Darkness' recorded by Johnny Keirle (Molest The Episcopate, In Dread Response) will be available in stores and online on Friday June 29th.
The band will be celebrating with a CD release show at Auckland's Kings Arms on the release day so be sure to head along to check that out and keep your eyes peeled on more news from the band in the weeks to come.
