I am sure one day there will be some sort of video talking about the Dark Skeletons of the Depths, and as far as I know there is not some quest tied to them. I want to talk about them though so here goes.

Unlike the Great Skeletons we find on the surface, the skeletal remains we find in the Depths look very similar. Serpentine or draconic, not sure which. There isn't many clues of what these Great Dark Skeletons are as there isn't many serpentine-like creatures other than the dragons we see. Though as far as I can tell, the skeletons do not seek to have feet, or even horns for that matter so it points to these Skeletons being more snake-like?

I am no expert on skeletal remains. But you can take a look at these photos I captured to compare and contrast between them.

Here is what we see on the map of each of the skeletons.

Edited for a better view since the one in the Gerudo is very hard to see.

So what is your theories on what these are? Dragons? Large extinct snakes? Maybe some past Zelda game bosses? I cannot recall any snake bosses. Let me know if you guys have any theories.

LoZ TotK - Figuring Out the Depths Script

I'm trying to identify if the characters on the notes attached to the Dark Clumps correspond to any actual Japanese characters.

They certainly look like they might be, but I'm honestly not sure.

It may not even be actual characters in whole & more so having elements of such.

Though, not the part on the bottom, obviously.

So far, I'm seeing some similarity to the character Yami (闇), but if it were drawn with the door character replaced with the Ya (や) character. And the Hi (日) character doesn't seem to be there.

Regardless, I'm definitely seeing Tachi (立) at the center.

If anyone has any suggestions, then I am all ears.

Seriously, please help me.
