Incoming @Devon
Cook figured Effy would be back at the flat by now. He had to make a few runs, drug runs. He needed to take a bit of time to actually find someone in the area. His usual guy was across town and he couldn’t exactly take the truck at the moment. Cook rubbed his head and walked around the area outside. He pulled a pack from his jacket pocket, lucky Kale nicked about five for him to store for himself. He’d hand one over to Effy. Cook stared at his phone, walking in a seemingly straight line staring at his phone. He had messaged everyone, beside Effy about the party, from the looks of it there would be a lot of gash and not enough lads around.
He stopped and messaged a few more people until his shoulder bumped into someone and he dipped back only slightly. Cook glanced backward with the unlit cigarette from his lips and glared. “Oi… keep yer eyes up yah?” He pointed two fingers at his own set of eyes and at the girl that was glancing back. Cook hadn’t seen her before, but something told him she knew where to get drugs around this area and fast. “Uh..” he walked over slipping his phone in his pocket again, “Sorry.. bit of’a knob’ead.. names Cook,” he pulled the unlit cigarette from his lips and put it behind his ear.
Devon slid her jacket on and stuffed her hands in her pocket; feeling a small bag filled with tiny pills inside. Letting a smile tug at her lips she nodded slightly as she left her empty flat. It was lonely and the only thing she had was bottles of alcohol and any drugs she could snatch. She wasn’t much of a people person, though, so she didn’t mind. As she left her flat, the blonde glanced at the empty sky that began to darken. She needed to get someplace quick to occupy her time before the night would end. There was plenty to do in Bristol so she was bound to find something to spark her interest. Maybe she’d run into a few lads that’d be interested in her new pills. Pushing the thoughts aside she decided to not put too much thought into the subject. The blonde chewed on her lip as she looked around; making her way down the streets of Bristol.
Stopping in her place; she thought she heard a noise coming from her phone. Devon pulled it out and glanced at it. No messages. No calls. No nothing. She really did need some new mates or something of that sort. As soon as the blonde glanced up to continue her walking, she was interrupted by a lad bumping into her. “Oi… keep yer eyes up yah?”. “Excuse me, mate. Maybe you need to keep ‘er eyes open, yeah?” She narrowed her eyes at him. “Name’s Devon…pleasure.” She responded before pushing a blonde strand away from her face. “Can I help you, then? Or shall I jus’ get goin’?”
The two had a small stare off. Cook tried to see if he recognized her from any instance. A shitty one night stand that he was too fucked to remember, or something different. He rubbed his chin and grinned devilishly. “Nah.. don’ get goin,” he walked over sticking his hands in his pockets. “You look a bit bored.. bored of this town yah?” He made sure the cigarette behind his ear wasn’t falling. He glanced up at the girl again, she was slightly taller than him with her shoes but it didn’t make him intimidated. “Yunno I’m hostin’ a par’y down at the pubs. Flat par’y fer me mate n’ all. Would be nice if we could score some fancy shit. Dunno where ta get it at this time though,” he shrugged effortlessly. Cook knew she would be able to help him out. She seemed like the lonely drifter type that needed alcohol to survive, basically him just two years ago. “If you can ‘elp me out I’ll let you’ave full rain on tha booze. I own the pub anyway,” he shrugged again.
Devon, he smirked at her and grabbed the cigarette finally. He couldn’t show how at ease he was about this situation. Most people helped him when he turned on the charm or bribed them. This was a bit of both, and it would work. It always did. He lit the cigarette finally and Cook leaned back on the mailbox behind him. He needed a few things, powder, pills. Nothing lower than that. He was set on spliff for a lifetime basically. “So Devon, mystery gal,” he shifted his weight and lifted his brows. “Wanna come to’a par’y?”
Devon was going to leave, but she was halted by Cook’s comments. “A bit? I’m very bored of this damn place.” She admitted, letting out a small laugh. Raising an eyebrow, the blonde played with the pills in her pocket. “Party, eh?” Letting the statement sink in she simply nodded. “If you can ‘elp me out I’ll let you’ave full rain on tha booze. I own the pub anyway,”. The statement struck her attention. She was immediately interested. “Oi, i think we’ve got a deal, mate.” She told him with a smirk. “What would ya’ be interested in?” Crossing her arms across her chest she took a step back so she could examine the lad in front of her. He looked like a lot of fun. Not to mention he owned a pub.
Chewing on her lip, she glanced around the two as the sky was getting darker. “So Devon, mystery gal,”  She cocked an eyebrow waiting for his comment. “Wanna come to’a par’y?” “Aye, what can I say? ‘Course I do. Always in tha’ mood for a par’y. Can’t turn down tha’ offer.” Devon told him with a small smirk. Reaching into her pocket she pulled out the pills to show the boy. “I’ve got this. I know where to get more if that’s whatcha’ askin’ for.” She told him, shifting her weight slightly. The blonde took a few quick looks around her to make sure others weren’t watching the two. She didn’t want others asking her for what little she had at the moment, so she quickly stuffed the pills back into her pocket waiting for the boy’s reply. She was ready to get to that party already and enjoy her night with lots of dancing and all the booze she wanted.
“Can’t turn down tha’ offer.” A sly look came across her face and Cook blew a comfortable amount of smoke out the other way. He watched the pills surround her hand in a small bundle and he arched his eyes to look over. They weren’t recognizable to him but he didn’t want her to know that. He had to keep it keen, play it cool, like he always did.. So much for staying out of trouble. He nodded. “‘xactly what I need. Bit’o pills,” he grinned with his teeth sinking into the filter. “Lead the way, girl,” he pointed with his cigarette cupped around his hand and she walked off, while Cook followed trotting along. Perfect. He always knew he could spot them when he needed a stash. “All set with spliff, so much ‘arder shit. Fer me mate, since it’s ‘er birthday,” he nodded to himself.
Cook kept his hand fanned over the top of his cigarette to keep the wind from cashing it too early. He was familiar with the area, but still followed Devon reluctantly. He spit behind him and tossed his finished stick in the street while it spun and landed in a puddle near the gutter. “How far’s this place? We gotta’ead in the opposite direction ta get back to the pub. What’s yer flavor anyway? Whiskey, rum, straight vodka with a pinch’a fruity juice,” he chuckled, knowing it would possibly get a rise out of her. She seemed the type to hate to be messed with, especially when in an area where they should’ve been quiet. Cook’s personality was too exotic for a quiet stint down the road.
“Lead the way, girl,” “All set with spliff, so much ‘arder shit. Fer me mate, since it’s ‘er birthday,” She nodded and kept her hands stuffed into her pocket. She wasn’t one to give her stash out of strangers, she would much like to keep it all to herself, but then again she would get all the alcohol she liked in return for this favor. “Birthday, eh? Guess this’ll be a nice present, yeah?” Devon let out a small laugh and continued to walk. Taking her hands out of her pockets she crossed them across her chest as she looked over at Cook smoking his cigarette happily. How far’s this place? We gotta’ead in the opposite direction ta get back to the pub.” “Christ, lad. Be patient. We’re almost there.” She snapped as she quickened her pace. Only a few more moments and the two would would get whatever the boy needed and they’d be on their way to Booze City. “What’s yer flavor anyway? Whiskey, rum, straight vodka with a pinch’a fruity juice,” Devon bit the inside of her lip, stopping herself from making a snarky comment. “Jus’ stay quiet, mate, yeah?” She commented ignoring the questioning; she didn’t want attention on the two.
After a few moments the two were at her destination. Giving a quick stare at Cook, the blonde narrowed her eyes. “You stay ‘ere. It’ll only take a few minutes. Jus’. Stay. ‘ere.” She told him, hoping he’d get the message. She knew he was the kind of guy that probably wasn’t even capable of this but it didn’t hurt to have some hope. Stuffing her hands into her pockets, she jogged over to the door of the building to get what she needed. It was where she got everything she needed. After a few quick minutes she stepped out of the building with some powder and a few more extra pills. Walking over to Cook, she cocked an eyebrow. ” ‘ere’s your stuff. Now lets get goin’, yeah?” She told him; holding up the small bags filled with what he desired.
“Stay, stay, yah, yah,” he waved his hand and pulled out another cigarette, assuming Devon would be taking too long for him to be patient. He figured she’d just be getting pills again, no need for him to worry about powder. Pills could always be crushed. He impatiently looked around and tapped his foot, chopping on his filter like he had before. Then a door opened, foot steps sounded, and he grinned up at Devon. ” ‘ere’s your stuff. Now lets get goin’, yeah?” He studied the bags in hand. Neat. “Pow’da too?” He grinned, slipping the pieces in his inner pocket. “Cheers babe,” he walked in front of her to lead the way. His head held high, wondering what powders and pills he could keep for himself and hand off to Effy. Though, the back of his mind always mirrored her recovery and how it was a terrible idea to even offer the substances to her. It was her birthday however, “Pub’s close, you’ll love tha drinks yah? Assumin’ all the shit’eads all showed them faces. Ugly cocks ‘round so don’ get to surprised when you don’ getta good cock in,” he chuckled and tossed his cigarette into the rubbish bin.
He glanced around, lost for a mere second until he saw the roof of the pub. “There we’are,” he saw the lights on and a few bodies moving around the pub. Lucky he had Kristina’s permission, or Keith would have his bollocks. He jogged happily up to the door and pulled the wooden piece open for Devon to waltz through. “After you ma’m,” he tipped a fake hat to her and followed behind, touching her shoulder so she would be led to the bar. “Kristina!” He sung and tapped his hand on the counter happily while the others that formed around him for the party howled along. “Get this gal a drink, anythin’ she asks fer yah? Make it strong.” He patted Devon’s shoulder and turned to lean his elbows on the counter behind him. He wanted to inspect the party. Music was yet to be decided on and the birthday girl was out of sight.
Devon laughed softly at the boy’s reaction to the substances she was able to get. She grinned as the boy led her to the pub. Now for booze city, and any other drink she’d be interested in. This was the most interesting thing that had happened in a year. She hadn’t been to a good pub in ages; so she was hoping this lad had what she wanted. “Pub’s close, you’ll love tha drinks yah? Assumin’ all the shit’eads all showed them faces. Ugly cocks ‘round so don’ get to surprised when you don’ getta good cock in,” The blonde nodded with a small chuckle. “I’ll take what I can get.” She told him with a smirk as she continued to make her way down the street to the pub. Jitters and excitement filled her. The only alcohol she had at the house was shitty booze that one of her mates was able to lend her, and even that was already finished within a night. Reaching into her pocket she took a cigarette of her own  and stuck it between her lips as she lit it, as Cook threw his away. Taking a hit, she looked over at Cook with a grin. “Good way to start off tha’ night, yeah?” She asked as they walked.
After a few moments of walking she noticed the lad see something. Looking in the same direction she saw the pub. Letting a smile tug at her lips she flicked her cigarette aside and quickened her pace to the place. “After you ma’m,” She chuckled and made her way inside. The scent of alcohol and cigarettes, just like home, just a bit stronger smell. Glancing back at Cook she gave him a small nod. “Get this gal a drink, anythin’ she asks fer yah? Make it strong.”  Sitting down she noticed a crowd around the two. Devon grinned as she leaned against the counter, chewing on her lip as she pondered on what she should get. “Oi, surprise me.” She announced, not being able to decide what she even wanted. Turning her position to look at Cook, she waited for her surprise drink. “Best wishes to ya’ tonight, ‘ave fun with tha’ stuff.” She told him, before turning back and getting handed her drink. Taking a sip, her nose wrinkled up. It was a different taste that she’d have to get used to. But she liked it, so she took a long gulp with a grin.
Cook turned and ordered a rum and coke, with a bit of kick to it. Something stronger for the girl that had a smirk constantly playing at her lips. “Best wishes to ya’ tonight, ‘ave fun with tha’ stuff.” He grinned ordering his own drink, a pint of course. “Yah?” He grinned sipping his own drink while looking at Devon gulp at her drink. “You’ave fun yah? Tabs on me, right Kristina?” He winked at Kristina and patted Devon’s shoulder. The party was theirs and they would see each other again hopefully. “See ya round,” he grinned walking around the crowd and to the stairs in back. He’d have to find the main surprise, hopefully Connor too got the cake. Cook made it back toward the stairs and did one final wave to Devon from the few steps up before he disappeared in a crowd by the stairs.

“Hey, still up for a dance?” She chuckled with a large smirk. "Aye, I'm always up for a dance." She told him with a chuckle as she moved closer to him so the two could dance. The music boomed and pounded around them. Dancing and drinking was a way to spend the night. Shutting her eyes she continued to move to the music, a grin planted on her face. She wasn't sure why she was dancing with the boy she had just almost picked a fight with, she wasn't even sure if she liked him or not. But it seemed he had forgiven and forgot, and she needed a drinking buddy and a dance partner; and it seemed Leo was up for the part. “Why the change of heart, Devon? My sexy exterior?” She laughed. "Don't flatter yourself. It's my way of apologizing for earlier." She told him with a shrug before laughing again and continuing to move her body with his'. "You ain't that bad after all, lad." She finally told him over the music as she laughed softly. It was the truth. "Jus' watch where you're goin' next time, yeah?" She told him, narrowing her eyes at the red head.
After a few long minutes of dancing and laughing, Devon began to grow bored. She needed something to make this night more exciting. "Hey, do ya' know if they got stuff 'ere. Like pills and shit?" She asked him curiously. "Or some better tastin' alcohol or whatever." She asked, cocking an eyebrow. Devon would begin reconsidering Bristol if they didn't have pills or quality alcohol at these parties anymore. A lot could change in a year she assumed.
Marry the Night- @Leo
Devon slid on her jacket and looked at her reflection in the mirror. She wasn’t sure what she was checking for. It didn’t necessarily matter how she looked, because by the end of the night all the clothes would be off and on the floor of a stranger’s house, or be drenched by the sweat of dancing strangers crammed together. Shrugging it off she pushed a strand of blonde hair behind her ear and made her way out of her room so she could see what awaits in Bristol for her. She was curious what Bristol had to offer for her tonight. She hoped this place hadn’t gone boring over her year absence. Walking out of her house and sticking her keys in her pocket, Devon made her way over to the first party she could see. Lately it was getting lonely in her flat and she was pondering if she should go out and ask for a flat mate. She set the thought aside for another day. She needed to get away for another night. Her pace quickened as she got closer to her destination. Being in France she tried focusing on her photography, but now back in Bristol she was ready to get back to the excitement. She needed a break from the constant work anyways.
Making her way into the party, she let a smile tug at her lips. The music blasted throughout the house. Looking around her she made her way through the crowd to find a place to join in. After a few moments Devon glanced around her and began to join in and dance. This lasted a few moments until she felt someone crash into her back. This usually didn’t affect her but now every little thing could tick her off. “Better watch yourself mate, yeah?” She said angrily turning to look at the person.

Whiskey, rum, straight vodka with a pinch’a fruity juice,” Devon bit the inside of her lip, stopping herself from making a snarky comment. "Jus' stay quiet, mate, yeah?" She commented ignoring the questioning; she didn't want attention on the two.
After a few moments the two were at her destination. Giving a quick stare at Cook, the blonde narrowed her eyes. "You stay 'ere. It'll only take a few minutes. Jus'. Stay. 'ere." She told him, hoping he'd get the message. She knew he was the kind of guy that probably wasn't even capable of this but it didn't hurt to have some hope. Stuffing her hands into her pockets, she jogged over to the door of the building to get what she needed. It was where she got everything she needed. After a few quick minutes she stepped out of the building with some powder and a few more extra pills. Walking over to Cook, she cocked an eyebrow. " 'ere's your stuff. Now lets get goin', yeah?" She told him; holding up the small bags filled with what he desired.

Devon was going to leave, but she was halted by Cook's comments. "A bit? I'm very bored of this damn place." She admitted, letting out a small laugh. Raising an eyebrow, the blonde played with the pills in her pocket. "Party, eh?" Letting the statement sink in she simply nodded. “If you can ‘elp me out I’ll let you’ave full rain on tha booze. I own the pub anyway,”. The statement struck her attention. She was immediately interested. "Oi, i think we've got a deal, mate." She told him with a smirk. "What would ya' be interested in?". Crossing her arms across her chest she took a step back so she could examine the lad in front of her. He looked like a lot of fun. Not to mention he owned a pub.
Chewing on her lip, she glanced around the two as the sky was getting darker. “So Devon, mystery gal,”  She cocked an eyebrow waiting for his comment. “Wanna come to’a par’y?” "Aye, what can I say? 'Course I do. Always in tha' mood for a par'y. Can't turn down tha' offer." Devon told him with a small smirk. Reaching into her pocket she pulled out the pills to show the boy. "I've got this. I know where to get more if that's whatcha' askin' for." She told him, shifting her weight slightly. The blonde took a few quick looks around her to make sure others weren't watching the two. She didn't want others asking her for what little she had at the moment, so she quickly stuffed the pills back into her pocket waiting for the boy's reply. She was ready to get to that party already and enjoy her night with lots of dancing and all the booze she wanted.

She wasn't much of a people person, though, so she didn't mind. As she left her flat, the blonde glanced at the empty sky that began to darken. She needed to get someplace quick to occupy her time before the night would end. There was plenty to do in Bristol so she was bound to find something to spark her interest. Maybe she'd run into a few lads that'd be interested in her new pills.
"Excuse me, mate. Maybe you need to keep 'er eyes open, yeah?" She narrowed her eyes at him. "Name's Devon...pleasure." She responded before pushing a blonde strand away from her face. "Can I help you, then? Or shall I jus' get goin'?"

“I like the name mystery boy though, do I really have to change?” Hearing his comment put a smirk on her face, and it appeared it put one on his face too. She chuckled before taking another sip of her drink. "Aye, it's a bit of a mouthful, don't cha' think?" She added, letting a smile tug at her lips. Devon's eyes roamed the boy again. She wasn't sure what to think of him. He didn't look like much trouble at all, but then again this was only by looks. If it was something she learned in her childhood, it was not to judge a book by its over. Pushing it aside she sunk her weight into her left hip as she glanced around her. She was used to the pounding music by now and she was ready to go out and join the other drunken people in dance. The blonde swayed slightly to the music again as she took another small sip of her drink; smelling the slight smell of alcohol on her breath.
Watching the red head attempt to guess her name made her laugh softly.  “What’s your name? I want to take a guess. Yvette? Maybe Elia?” She grinned. “Monica.”.  Shaking her head, Devon let out another laugh. "Sorry Mystery Boy, but wrong. I'm Devon." She told him, brushing a blonde strand away from her face again. "Leo, eh? Oi, I would've guessed somethin' like Harry or some shit like that." She told him with a small shrug. Turning her attention back to the dance floor, Devon finished her drink before setting it down on the table. "Want to go and dance, then?" She asked him curiously, grabbing another cup and walking back into the crowd hoping he'd trail behind. He wasn't that bad after all. As long as the bloke didn't push her again, they'd be fine. The teen laughed softly, if the two continued this, Leo would be following her around all night. Devon was almost like a child. Her attention went from one thing to the other. Going back into the crowd she took a sip of her new drink and began to dance with a grin. This was a good night and she wasn't going to let another prick get on her bad side. She was just going to enjoy what was going on and block everyone out, unless Leo joined her of course. She wasn't sure what was in store for them, but at least the two weren't vile with each other. He was lucky she was trying to have a good night and not get on everyone's bad side.
