Well…. There goes another part of my childhood fading away. And im honestly sad to hear this news, especially to what this ment to me as a former fan of a certain animation company.

For those who don’t know what im talking about, im refering to a canadian channel known as Family Channel. Which has been reported lately that the channel is about to shut down in a few months. To explain what Family is, it was a canadian channel that came out in the late 80’s and it was pretty much a childrens channel like YTV and Teletoon. Since 2015 this was basicly a wildbrain channel where the channel that showed shows from the wildbrain brand, some of the dreamworks shows from netflix, and of course I should mention this but also they air Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir.

However, what some may don’t know is what it used to be. If your a canadian like me who’s been born and raised in the 2000’s or earlier when this channel was around it’s beginning. Then you would remember this as “The Canadian Disney Channel.” And that’s what I mostly remember this channel for before we canadians official got Disney channel in 2014. Back in the days when we canadians wanted to watch Disney shows we had Family Channel.

As a former disney child before shifting into Cartoon Network now a days, Family was my number one favourite channel to watch for all the disney cartoons and movies I watched. I remember one of my biggest memories with this channel is comming home from kindergarten to watch the house of mouse, which was my favourite disney cartoon. My mom would often remind me now adays about how big i was into that show and would cry a lot if I missed it. And that’s cause i had a mickey mouse phase during the time. I really did love that show, and I still have fond memories watching house of mouse!

But I can’t forget about the other wounderful disney toons that came out of this channel that I remember watching when I was little such as Kim Possible, The Buzz on Maggie, Recess, Fillmore, American Dragon Jake Long, The Lilo and Stich series, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, Dave the Barbarian, The Proud Family, and many more! And yeah I definatly remember watching those shows! I even remember when I used to go to Disney’s Channel’s website to play games for those cartoons! And of course, I know I have to mention this since im talking about disney channel, they also did provied the live action stuff like That’s So Raven, The Wizards of Waverly Place, Hannah Montana, and more.

Speaking of live action and this is through experience watching this channel! I don’t know why but intrestingly enough for some reason, Family also not just have Disney stuff and the usual Canadian content provided for the channel but they even shown some of Nickelodeon’s older live action shows such as The Amanda Show, All that, and even recent at the time Zoey 101 and Ned’s Declasified. Hoenstly looking back it makes me confused to why they don’t air this on ytv? But hey, I did enjoyed watching both Zoey 101 and Ned’s Declassified at the time!

Back to disney, I also remembered those times they actully had the Jetix block too! But for that, you had to wake up super early in the morning like maybe….5 am in order to watch Jetix on Family, which was not easy but at the time one of my siblings would wake up and wake me up as well to watch the power rangers shows with him. I also remember seeing Pucca and that one digimon anime, I think it was data squad that they aired at the time. But yeah, that was another memorable memory i had with Family! But sadily I really didn’t wach the block much even back when i was younger due to how early the block aired. But was a lot of fun to watch!

But of course as I mentioned before ever since Disney Channel came to Canada in 2014 all that disney shows moved to there. And Wildbrain took over the channel which honestly made it feel… Less intresting. Okay I get it, I understand they had to move all the shows. And have Family focus more on canadian content, but it felt like a mixed bag. It didn’t have much of an identity anymore except, a mix of Wildbrain, Universal, and Netflix content. But at least they released Miraculos on the channel. Which was the only good thing. And I did like that family did try to expand the brand by making multiple channels with Family CHRGD (Now Wildbriantv) and Family Jr, it wasn’t a bad idea. But it kind of felt like what Disney did with their channels with Disney XD and Disney Junior.

But alas now that tv is pretty much dying and kids today are more focused on streaming and the internet, I guess they have to shut down the network for good. It breaks my heart really to see Family channel go because of so much memories I had watching the channel and how we canadians where able to see a lot of Disney shows and movies thanks to them. Im really going to miss this channel for all the years I’ve watched and enjoyed all the disney shows they provided for us canadians. It really was a channel that a disney child really enjoyed watching! And im happy I was able to see so many good cartoons from the company. Yeah I had a lot of memories from watching YTV and Teletoon, but Family was my number one favourite place to watch. And sure, Im not much obessed with Disney stuff than I used to, but I’ll still cherish those memories, especially with this channel.

So, thanks Family channel. Thank you giving me so much memories and I’ll never forget what you used to be, the canadian disney channel. And I’ll never forget that one slogan that you have for a long time.

Happy 18th anniversary to Hatsuna Miku! I’ve been enjoyed her music as well as other artists who been using this character in the vocaloid community. So im happy to celebrate her 18th aniversary. Hey everyone,

I think im in a better headspace to come back. I have been doing okay and trying my best to move on from what happend a few weeks ago. Thankfully my mood improved recently since last weekend I went to a fan convention, which btw I had a fantastic time. ^ ^

I hope this dosen’t happen again, but I think I’ll keep that last post for a bit. But I will delete it next week, for now I just want to get back into making art and talking to you all.

Breaking a bit of my hiatus to address something. Im not here to attack this person and im not going to say who this person is. Im just got to try my best to calmy explain this. I didn’t want to respond to this and I really don’t want to talk about this, but because of what this person accused me for, I really feel like I need to clarify some stuff.

I haven’t been feeling the best due to a post I saw on the main tag someone posted couple of weeks ago regarding some stuff going on at a discord server that I belong in. And despite me not being invloved with this much I am now being framed as a bad person from this individual and even accused me for playing victim because of a post I got upset at that wasn’t directly at me but to the people of the in the community I belong in for blocking them, and also the fact that I did told a mutal of mine here about the situation that happend over at that discord server. I did noticed the account and posts that was posted in a certain tag is deleted. But I’ll just talk about this anyways.

To be honest, I wasn’t involved in most of the incident or didn’t even get involved with the jokes that some of the people there in that server did. I was absent in the server for a while and didn’t know fully what happend until one of my mutals/co mods told me. But yes, I did get upset over a post you made that wasn’t really targeting me and that was only towards those who blocked you. The reason why I was upset is because I was scared. I was scared of this individual of framing me an idiot if I blocked them. I understand what they said over at the server is wrong. But I didn’t want to be involved in this, so I decided not to block them. Until they blocked me.

And yes, what they said is bad of me to tell on one of my friends here. But I never called them bad names when I messaged them. All I did, was inform them about the situation and their other blog. However I have to bring this up, I am not the first to tell on this individual about what happend over there. There was actully an annonymus user, I don’t know who this person is but it’s possibly one of the other members in that server who told them about this individual and what they said in the server. And even made a post responing to that ask about this individual. So Im not the first to inform them. They already knew about what happend because of this annon’s ask sent to them and actully did blocked this individual.

I never wanted to do this and I’ve seen what happens when people play victim and it’s something im doing my best to avoid. But sometimes my sensitivity puts me in a very uncomftrable situation and im not the best at handling this kind of stuff. Even if it is not towards me. But as a mod for a server with mutals here that I love and care for, I need to do what’s right.

A lot of things have been affecting me emotionaly in an negitive way these past couple of months. Im trying my best to move forward and avoid these situations. However, because of something I felt was right put me down even more. Even if I never called them names or involved with the jokes they said. But I feel it’s partily my fault for telling on someone about this.

Im going back to my hiatus but I just needed to let this playing victim accusation thing just get out of my mind. It’s been bothering me for the past couple of weeks her and I really don’t like that. But I’ll be okay, thank you all for understanding.

Back in June, I was looking through my activity here as I got a fav and i checked their blog and I noticed they where talking about this fanmade webseries that I Didn’t know exsisted but decided to watch. It’s called Nintendo High and it’s excally what you expect in these kinds of shows. It’s Nintendo characters but in a high school AU which I know sounds cliche but, I think it’s cute! ^ ^

The show mostly focus on a teenage Mario and Luigi and a teenage Princess Peach and Daisy dealing with high school and teenage situations. But my eyes honeslty was focused more on some of the minor/background characters that have appered in the series. Mostly, Issabelle cause Im a fan of animal crossing, and I just love how she looks as a teen in this series! However I noticed she dosen’t have one of those character cards that the artist behind the series made for the main ones and some of the other characters. So for fun, I decided to make a character card for not just her but for three other backgorund characters that only appeard once but I personally like. Yeah, most of them are from Animal Crossing and Pokemon! I mean those are the only two game franchises I play and love from Nintendo! 😅

But honestly I really would love see more of Isabelle than just a background character. In fact I might make more fanart for this webseries and maybe touch upon what i think some of the minor characters lives in this AU would be like! I have a couple more fanmade character cards for other background and minor characters that I made the past couple of weeks, but I’ll make a couple of more and post them from series they came from. :)

I have been working on a set of drawings based on a fanwork that I discovered a month ago. I have finished making 9 works for this so far while working on my birthday countdown drawings for the past couple of weeks. I still have a couple more to draw that I want to do but I think it’s time I post some of them. So I think for now I’ll only post four of them and when I finsh more I’ll post more sets of them. :)
