it eats him up inside when he’s away from you, too. he’s a yearner, resting against your chest as you talk about your day is his highlight. your voice trails as you get sleepier and your chest steadies out. it’s a luxury to him to even be experiencing such a quiet moment with you, the normalcy of it could make even the toughest men out there jealous. and to you, troy is one of the toughest guys out there. it’s never even about craving normalcy, it’s about spending his time with you. the dull trail of words because you can barely remember how you wanted to finish your sentence, your arms wrapped around him as the ceiling fan tries to fight off humid summer air, his ear against your chest and the faint sound of your heartbeat.

his sketchbook is decorated in your image. everything is a subliminal dedication to you. when he’s sketching strangers he sees from the windows of the cia’s washington building, there is something about you that always relays. the pattern on that man’s scarf is identical to the one you own, and sure! he’s looking right at the guy as he waits for the crosswalk signal to change, but he’d rather mimic the striped pattern from memory. troy’s fingers run over your memory more delicately than any other man ever could.

what else is there to say? wrist kisses. his nose in the crook of your neck. longing looks. the content sighs when you lay together on the couch. so much to say.

do you have any fics that you are excited about posting that we should know?

sorry for how late i'm answering this! i have a few, and i'm gonna post smaller things i've been working on tonight (since it’ll be the only time i have free time) but i think daily about my case work. i've had the plot idea since finishing the campaign back in october, and i never reallyyyyy built up confidence for it until.... twoish months ago. i don't wanna lay it all down, but it's basically reader dealing with the guilt of 1980 to 1981 in the worst way possible i also have a park piece that is more of drabble than anything but i am really excited about posting it because i love her. i truly believe she could beat adler's ass barehanded. it's just fem! reader in an office style situation and hving a crush on her cubicle mate. i need normalcy and cuteness because adler's ugly ass ruins everything. we should all kill adler. but we should also let him go for walkies around the block. @altcvnningham is the biggest adler hater i've ever met and she still wants him. like that's beautiful

Hi Lacie, have you try some known methods in order to help your little quere issue? Like move all post to drafts, delete quere and move the post back to quere? Or check the quere schedule(like if it was on pause or something). Just hoping to help out

hi !! i really appreciate you trying to help, it’s sweet, so first of all thank you /gen !!! <3 the thing is they are stuck, which is why i haven’t been able to do anything with them. and i mean stuck stuck. i can’t force post, put them back in my drafts, i can only change my time for my queue and (un)pause, but even when i do, nothing happens. the one post that managed to actually be posted via my queue was my park post, but then it just stopped. it was my first time using queue on this account and i’ve used it before on my personal, so i don’t know what to do :( i was busy moving and dealing with life, but looking back it would’ve been easier to just hit post. i think i just reallyyyyy overwhelmed and not thinking as a result

i do really appreciate you trying to help like i said because tumblr has been none ;;;;

still stuck :/ i really tried to hold it out because copying word for word seemed extremely frustrating but i’m gonna have to do it. i think it’s so stupid they just left me hanging even with additional requests i felt like i was waiting for my lover to return from the war like this

months would pass and you’d get over it, it was all you ever said. you won’t let adler’s disgusting memory rot your brain and bring down your will to live, even on the days your withdrawal to benzodiazepines made you beg your body to give out on you.

there’s a body in the kitchen and you’ve been staring at it for days.

you weren’t doing well, though. you didn’t just get over it. you saw his face in everything, cedar cologne and tobacco hurt your nose, you shook away memories of his lips and hands on every inch of your body. the word bell left an uncomfortable itch on your back you couldn’t reach. you even hallucinated him a few times.

and now adler’s body is in your kitchen and you can’t tell if it’s really him, face down in a pool of his own sticky, dried blood. it felt so real, but how were you sure this wasn’t withdrawal, again? how were you sure you weren’t gonna wake up tomorrow and the kitchen would be clean, rid of all reminders of him? there was nobody to call that you could tell about his decaying flesh molding to the floorboards, nobody you could tell that the man who brainwashed you is dead in your cheap berlin apartment. he found a way to torment you without having to lift a finger.

and the next day when you’d wake up, the body in the kitchen would be gone.
