A note has been left folded on Solaris' desk. The inside simply reads

"I heard there was a horror movie showing at the drive-in later tonight. Perhaps we could go? It does seem quite startling, though I know what might distract from that."

There is no signature but an ornate little heart. The handwriting is... Familiar, though. Tidy, with a little flourish here and there.

Sometime in between Solaris retreating for a complementary coffee and her slumping back at her desk, a note had been left behind for her... Strange, to be certain. Normally, if anyone ever wanted to say something to her, they would say it to their face...

Unfurling it, however, instantly gave her all of the context she needed. There was only one person who had the decency to listen to any of her ramblings about the latest in the horror scene... The Fabricator must have been intrigued enough about The Sting of Death to want to see it with her... Well, she certainly wouldn't say no to something like that.

Briefly, she couldn't help but question why she needed to request their little outing in a note, of all things... But, well... It wasn't difficult to imagine Zor must have been breathing down her neck recently. They were never partial to the two of them interacting, especially outside of work.

... Hopefully, the Fabricator could relish in a little time away from them.

Solaris… paused. She paused for a very long while, hand on her glass, eyes narrowed, but perfectly silent and still… When her lips finally parted, it took a while for her to figure out what exactly it was she wanted to say.

With little other fanfare, she begun leaning- seemingly not of her own volition- tipping over to the side like a keeling ship. The only thing that stopped her from stumbling off of her seat is the hand that rocketed to clutch clumsily at the edge of the counter.

... The Fabricator wasn't supposed to see her there. The Fabricator wasn't even supposed to be there... What person of her status would ever willingly attend a humble little bar? She probably drank at... high end night clubs, or... or her own house, at least. There was no reason for her to be here of all places. Tonight of all nights.

If Solaris had known she was going to be coming, perhaps she would have done her best to make herself look more... presentable. As opposed to the hunched over stance she took now, one hand pressed against the table, and another gripping around her glass as though she intended to break it.

She didn't notice her, at first... It was unclear whether or not she'd noticed anything around her at all. She looked a bit... well, 'out of it' might have been an understatement, really...
