hey fable fans!!! i don't know if this is gonna get any traction but if anyone sees this, would anyone be interested in reading a fanfic type thing that focuses on the hero of brightwall and takes place ~20 years after fable 3? it's a whole concept i've been working on for around 2 years and i have a whole plot but haven't written a ton for it yet. it's superrrr angsty and also dives into a lot of the problems with monarchy and draws a TON of parallels between the hobw and logan/reaver. i find it very interesting and will probably post it on AO3 when i have a few chapters LOL

Marxist-Leninism by definition considers state violence to be necessary to bring about the Communist Utopia. Anarchists understand why state violence is bad

Anarchists are into things like community-building and mutual aid networks that are independent of any state. Marxist-Leninists are (TECHNICALLY) fine with that before The Revolution takes place, but after The Revolution? Historically, Marxist-Leninist states have fostered paranoia and encouraged citizens to spy on each other, which is the kind of thing that breaks down conmunities and destroys mutual aid networks - leaving people dependent on, and therefore (in theory) loyal to, a single-party state that might decide to deprive a population of food if it suits their political aims.

Oh yeah. Marxism-Leninism calls for the establishment of a state where only their political party is allowed to make decisions. Anarchists understand why this is fundamentally anti-democratic

Marxist-Leninists cite a state that committed mass murder several times, collapsed as soon as it tried to reform itself, and never came close to that Communist Utopia, as a "successful revolutionary government." Anarchists know that if you call that a success you're either stupid or just a fascist in a red shirt.

A lot of Marxist-Leninists just see socialism as a means to gaining political power. Once you understand this, you understand why actual Marxist-Leninist states quickly turn authoritarian, why Marxist-Leninists today have such a shallow understanding of geopolitics... and why so many Marxist-Leninists see anarchism and its distrust of political power as The Enemy
