✨Started another business venture during quarantine, and it’s finally ready for business!!✨ . I really enjoyed creating this space! I knew that I wanted to keep my usual white & gold theme throughout it, with some pink accents, but I was stuck on what anchor colour to use to balance it out...... Although it doesn’t feel like it (because most of us are at home practicing social-distancing, like the good humans we are..... 👀), but it is in fact SPRING TIME!! Now is a great opportunity to move things around, organize and declutter! I think I’m going to start with my kitchen/cleaning supplies and work my way up to the bigger projects I’m starting next week.

Before we were hit with the COVID-19 pandemic, my partner & I decided that along with a mandatory work that needs to be done in our condo, we were going to take the opportunity to renovate our small, U-shaped kitchen at the same time. IMO, the colour scheme just doesn’t fit the rest of our house…

In fact, it’s really the only room in our home that has felt dated and out of place since we bought it 4 years ago, and the timing just worked. We talked about a few different ways to pull this off: Doing a full gut job and maybe opening up the bar area, buying new cabinetry doors to update the style and we are DEFINITELY replacing our appliances! 💥💥

Unfortunately, our building is pretty much on lockdown when it comes to visitors, so having contractors in our unit is a no-go. We still have an idea of what changes we want for our kitchen, we just have to scale our design way down and do some of the work ourselves. This will help curve my anxiety, because I love DIY projects and would love to do most of the changes myself….. I just hope I don’t have to wait the whole year to do it! 🤦🏿‍♀️🤦🏿‍♀️
