Dying to Self - Done.

Dying to Self – Done.

I’ve been a follower of Jesus since the earth cooled. But only recently, through prayer and journaling, did the Lord give me some clarity on what it means to “die to self”.  It caught me off guard, because it’s not what I expected.

Our Hope

Before Jesus, we were without hope (Eph 2:12) and fallen short of His glory (Rom 3:23). But now Christ in us has become both for us!

Prior to the cross and resurrection’s work in our lives, this was our prayer. After them, we thank God for giving us His righteousness with a new heart and life.
