Hearing about the dumpster fire that is the live action remake prompted me to recall my love for the original. Which inspired this piece.

TF2 Drabbles: Scout's Cat - Pants Thief

Summary: I'm picturing Scout's cat as a charming little calico :3

[A/N] This comment probably wasn't intended as a request but I decided to use it as an excuse to draw a calico cat. And then I had the idea that what if the reason BLU Scout only wore the proper pants for a day before it was patched back out is because his cat stole them and dragged them under the bed so that's just where his single pair of blue pants live now.

I didn't start this piece with the intent of uploading it on my b-day but I have been meaning/wanting to draw Riebeck for a long time so it works out well enough anyway.

Just for the record, I painted this with the negative colours. It wasn't as hard as I'd thought it might be when going in but it wasn't easy either. Below the cut is the image with a negative filter applied. And like, I got pretty close. Granted that as well as it not being as hard as I'd thought it might be was largely due to my having put a negative filter on a duplicate of my reference image.

I downloaded the VR mod for Outer Wilds and one of the first things I did was pet Slate. Petting characters in VR is something I do a lot and I've been meaning to make and artistic representation of it what it would look like in universe for a while but never got around to it until now. Also, just for the record I have pet every character I've come across in my playthrough so far, forcing my way through every invisible barrier that tried to stop me, and intend to pet the last two once I make my way to them.
