‘i mean it’s… past noon. it’s way past noon, buddy. it’s four p.m.’ peter sat up himself and tilted his head towards the other from across the room. ‘you’re in the common room, are you feeling okay?’
“Four as in quatre?” He wondered, making sure to rub his eyes one more time before checking his watch. “Well... would you look at that, I’m officially a mess and classes haven’t even started.”

“I mean it’s 12:30 and you are still passed out in front of the main building.” Andy shook her head. “I thought I’d come check on you after class.”
“What?” He mumbled again as he try to process everything she had said. “What do you mean classes started already? It can’t be Monday.”

“I’ll believe it. I don’t know you well enough to make assumptions one way or the other.” Alice led him into the kitchen and pulled a glass from the cabinet. She took a water pitcher out of the fridge and filled the glass before handing it over to him. “There’s food in the cabinets and fridge too. Anything not labeled is up for grabs.” Alice never labeled any of her food. She didn’t mind sharing. Her candy stash was in her room anyways. “I like my courses and I want to do well in them.”
“Even if you came to that conclusion on your own, I would still take it. Why hide my ability to make a complete fool out of myself?” He commented with a smile as he followed her to the kitchen. “Thanks. I would have never expected upperclassmen to have such well equipped apartments, even if they come with labels.” He added before helping himself to some snacks. “I’ll repay you one day, maybe when you are not studying.”

“It’s a quarter past. This is my apartment and I’d like it to myself now.” After the Spring Party started to wind down a group of her friends and far too many stragglers made their way to the third year apartments and split between her apartment and next door. She actually went to sleep before everyone left. It didn’t bother her too much to find someone crashed on the couch, but it had been hours and she had the place to herself. She’d been nice long enough. “I mean, please grab a glass of water and a snack for health safety reasons, but you’re going to have find somewhere else to sleep. I want to get some studying done.”
“Believe it or not this is not the first time I’m getting kicked out of somewhere, so walk me to the water and I shall disappear in heartbeat or... or maybe twenty.” He mused. The habit of waking up in a place that was not his dorm was quickly becoming habit but this time around it wasn’t as traumatic as the last time it had happened. Still, he didn’t want to really bother the girl. “Studying already, though? Why?”

“Idiocy? Ouch is that meant to be a personal attack? Are we back on that ship? Because I thought it had sailed.”
“Would someone mind explaining to me why some people think a party is a synonym for idiocy?”

“What!? What do you mean it’s past noon?” Paul rubbed his eyes, propping himself up before realizing the surroundings did not seem familiar. “And... where am I?”

“Define embarrassing, because it appears like I’ve forgotten what that means.”
“I need to know if I did anything embarrassing at the party. I’m not tasking you with that job. Please make me feel better.”

“What about wasted sophomores?”
“I swear, if one more wasted freshman bumps into me, I might kill someone tonight.”

“What?” Paul asked, knocking some of them down as he turned around to see what she was talking about. “... oh, oh god, don’t kill me.”
“No! Don’t lean on those decorations!” Glenda shouted while approaching the other. “They took forever to put up and you are ruining them.”
