[ what are your goals for this month ]

My goals for this month are:

Start training for muay thai

Don’t cut any class for the first month of the term unless needed

Stick to my budget

Maintain the neatness of my desk

These are simple things that may be easy for others to achieve but for me these are so hard! Hopefully with hard work and diligence, I would be able to achieve these.

[ what’s your life philosophy, in one paragraph or less]

“If you believe it was destined to happen, it is most likely to happen. If you believe nothing has been decided, then nothing has been decided.”

This quote from xxxHolic has had me going ever since I was in high school. It’s the quote I always live by and always follow through hard times. It makes me think positively in achieving my goals and has so far worked for me. I can’t always believe though. If you believe, hard work should not be too far away.

may study challenge - day one

[ describe where you want to be right now (academically or otherwise) ]

I want to be the very best. like no one ever was-- okno.

I want to be consistent in what i do, especially in my academics. I struggle in having good grades because I can’t do anything productive due to my bipolar disorder. I want to see myself overcoming those obstacles and getting a dean’s list certificate in order to prove to myself that even I can do it. The me who is struggling, can too, achieve great things 

In a few years time, I want to see myself married to my boyfriend of seven months at the moment with a child or two. Also, I would like to see myself as a diplomat serving my country (the philippines), if possible. If not, I’d like to work in non-government organizations (NGOs) like United Nations or ActionAid. If that fails too, I’d like to run a cafe where students could study in peace.

1. What is your favorite season and why?

We actually only have wet or dry season in my country since it is a tropical one but i have experienced other seasons so i would have to say spring. I like how it is cold yet warm and flowers all over. Truly it looked amazing.

2. What do you like to do to relax?

I actually rely on my boyfriend for me to relax. hahaha. i would usually either chat him if we’re not together, have coffee/milktea with him, watch movies together or play this game called League of Legends.

3. If you could speak another language fluently, which would you choose?

French because I have to pass it.

4. What is your favorite book?

Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

5. Do you play any sports or play any instruments?

Does e-sports count? HAHAHA but actually no, I don’t do sports and instruments.

6. What inspired your studyblr username?

My mind is in a delicate state (hence the word ‘delicate’) and this is studyblr so ‘studies’. 

7. What is your current favorite music album?

Kim Taeyeon’s My Voice

8. What advice would you give to students choosing their college/uni majors?

Imagine yourself 20 - 30 years from now. If you see yourself loving your job up until then, go for it. If not, you still have time, look for what you are passionate about. Explore new things and maybe you’ll find what you love.

9. What is your greatest academic/personal achievement?

Simply passing a science high school is a huge achievement for me. Getting good grades is also an achievement for me. I’m never one to study. It’s only because of these bloggers I see on my dash everyday that inspires me study.

10. What is your dream career?

My dream career is to become a diplomat.
