Hi everyone! I’ve gotten loads of asks about what I use to make post headers and icons, so here it is! I use canva, which is an absolutely amazing resource!! I know that a bunch of studyblrs use it, but I feel like everyone is just reluctant to talk about it ?? 

OK ANYWAY Here are things you can make on canva, just to name a few!! 

- tumblr headers

- resumes (THE TEMPLATES ARE SO PRETTY)

- presentations

- posters

- AND LOTS MORE THIS SITE IS AMAZING HONESTLY 

Canva is the best resource ever !! I’ve told my friends about it and ppl I know have used it for online things and for school projects! Here are things I love about canva: 

- making an account is 100% free!! 

- you can either use and customize a free template or make something that’s entirely your own !! 

- there are so many fonts to choose from! my personal faves are montserrat, brusher, and bebas neue

- canva has tons of free, minimalist icons, all of which are cute af

Materials: old clothes tag, twine from bakery backaging, page from old book that library was going to throw out, stickers, washi tape, scrap pieces of paper

[150924] last week was for desperately trying not to fall behind with uni. i found that studying with friends helps me stay focused when i don't have any motivation :)))

[270924] i found out today that my midterm includes an unit i thought it didn't. so i'm coping with the rush of anxiety with the nicest things i could find (my cat + fruits + sunlight)

Weird

[25/100] 20.05.2020 :: Alright, so I am oddly motivated since my talk with my PI on Saturday. We had a lab meeting yesterday and a spontaneous follow-up meeting today, both at 4 pm. During the past weeks, I only had 2-3 productive (hence good) days per week. Today was destined to become the third in a row. I looked through literature and added more detail to a data table that I have been working on and collecting data in since, I don’t know, forever ago. I barely had lunch before today’s meeting, and again it was incredibly helpful because I finally feel like I am part of the meeting, not just the recipient of input but an active, engaging participant.

I worked so much, I almost forgot to take a picture for today’s entry. Started working late (~10:30) but didn’t really find the time to take long breaks. My head is spinning, but I would kind of like to go on. I won’t though.

(VSCO didn’t want to work today, so this will have to do.)
