Jo has a bite mark scar on her left leg (lower calf, close to her ankle) it’s her infection spot. Aside from that the other scars aren’t too lore important location wise. Although i have recently been toying with adding scratch scars on her upper arms from being grabbed by infected.

Covenant body types sketch. I’ll probably do cas too in a bit. But. Yeah idk anatomy and I couldn’t be bothered to get a ref so I think this isn’t too shabby. Jo has some restraint scars but outside of that idk what her scars might look like 🤷‍♀️ took my best guess. Strong Cleo was always real in covenant but you can’t tell under her clothes lol. Plus when she’s out of uniform it tends to be me drawing her at her absolute worst, so she loses hella muscle mass then. Also, yk how canon Cleo is soft and rounder in terms of body and face? Covenant Cleo is still filled out, but it’s muscle and not fat so it’s harder which could be a metaphor. Jo is deffo not out of shape btw it’s just crazy zombie metabolism. Strength and endurance gets a bit of a boost for the naturally immune, so she can more than keep up. She’s just also really lightweight. Cleo is a bit jealous bc she has to work her ass off to stay in shape (though when ur active in an apox there’s some level of it just happening), but also it isn’t all good. I hc that Jo can’t control the fucked up side of her face because normally when there’s heavy scarring/damage you lose the ability to move it. She can hold her eyelid open with her fingers to reveal the fucked up eye n shit and she does it to piss off cleo sometimes.

I’ll continue to draw them ooc for the rest of time. 99/100 times they’re actually just beating the shit out of each other I’m just really ass at drawing fight choreography and I’m using them as an excuse to get better at having multiple bodies posed together. I’m an unreliable narrator I’m sick for them being soft so that’s what I draw but I mean it when I say they are NOT soft they’re both SICK IN THE HEAD. Being a little hater is Cleo’s love language. Jo’s is being fucking annoying.

Felt like drawing some of Cleo’s lows during crashout arc. She has like huge peaks and valleys during the crashout so there are times where she seems really normal or even better than normal and then the next day she can’t get out of bed. Post crashout she ends up neutralizing and gets back to pretty much normal with the occasional bad day, and in a better situation than she was in before.

First one is pre crashout Jo just fucks with her. Middle school boy flirting.

Sorry I just really love covenant Cleo a lot. I think about her inevitable crash out very frequently.

I need her to get fucking nasty and unhinged soooo bad. Jo is equal parts concerned and absolutely fascinated. Maybe a little scared which is strange because she wasn’t ever really scared of her before.

This Cleo has killed before. This Cleo is more than willing to do it again. There’s no purity or innocence or naivety anymore. All of her best qualities have been snapped in half and left half smashed open on sticky, crimson-drinking pavement. Torn apart by teeth and claws. Where Jo is ultimately soft and unwilling, Cleo is sharp and committed. Jo became dangerous by mistake, while Cleo did it on purpose.

Also they get an “and they were roommates” arc after Cleo is exiled from the cult which I think is based of me :3
