We won't be laughing at Rouxls Kaard way down the line when he figures out there's an actual conspiracy with some real "big bad guys" going on and he'll try to worm his way into some second in command position. He'll get way in over his head, and cause trouble where he'll end up either dead because he's in the way of something actually important, or he'll get violently discarded as a used up pawn.

At the very least, he'll probably cause some serious harm, intentionally or not.

And we'll feel sorry for him, even though we might be making memes about how cringe he is right up to the lat second.

I can't even begin to fathom how Ralsei kept silent about the whole "the TV Lord cleaved by red" prophecy... let alone actually like, enjoying the game with Kris and Susie even though the prophecy would be inevitably fulfilled. Unless he was kinda hoping the prophecy would be subverted by their kindness toward Tenna and the darkners? Maybe he thought it was not going to happen since they were so close to getting past Tenna and sealing the dark fountain... but then the Knight unexpectedly showed up (hence his shocked reaction).

Then again... he never gave a single hint about the horrifying "the last prophecy" that shattered Susie at the end of Chapter 4... he never gave a hint for THREE WHOLE CHAPTERS. So like, staying quiet about Tenna being dismantled sounds a lot easier than staying quiet about the Last Prophecy o _o
