Fatal Attraction

Well hello there slasher loving people. Recently I have read a lot of Hybristophilia cases and I think we all conect with it, our only luck being that our slashers/serial killers aren't real.

Why the attraction?

Most of the slashers in horror movies are depicted as tall, big and dangerous men. Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, Leatherface, you name it.

The characterization of them and so many others is the epitom of an Alpha male. All this killers have overpowered so many men in their bloody battles that is pretty much endless. We are naturally attracted to power and they hold it at the pinky finger. Ever seen Victor Crowley? He can dismember a big adult man with just his bare hands. In our mind we see their power as protection. I don't think that any man will try to touch you with Michael Myers hot on his tail, ready to stab the living daylights out of him.

The mask does the charm

Lets face it. The mask adds to the misterious nature to our slashers. Michael Myers white mask, Jason Voorhees hockey mask, Harry Warden gas mask, Chromeskulls silver skull mask etc.

We don't see their faces and we are attracted to the unknown. It adds to the dangerous air around them.

Deep inside victims

While some many not see it we find our nurturing instincts kicking in for this men.

Jason Voorhees was bullied and drowned as a kid, Brahms was burned and made by his parents to live inside the walls, the Sinclair twins didn't exaclly had to much of a happy childhood.

We find ourself in need to care for them, plus their 'innocence'. If I am correct, Jason is a virgin, so is Michael and Brahms. The fact that they are untouched attracts us to them.

One of a kind and masterminds

In general, people are attracted to persons Who stand outside the crowd. I don't think you can find everyday someone like The Collector with his one of a kind hobbies. Snuf film maker and sadist? You got Chromeskull here. They are unique people Who stand more on the sharp edge of the blade.

Plus they are evil genius. Who can plan and design such traps like Jigsaw and the Collector? Not your next door guy or the guy from Starbucks, thats for sure.

Intimacy?

This may be a confusion, but what about the nsfw part? Altough some of them might be asexual like Jason Voorhees.... But they are still males and well.... Some of them humans. They have their instinctual needs, right? Plus we talk about the untouched part again.

Thinking about that you got so lucky to get inbetween the sheets with one of them is like winning the jackpot.

Ever wonder what it feels like to have such a dangerous and big man inbetween your legs under him? Yeah, we all do. The adrenaline, plus if you got masochist tendencies I think you are just up their league.
