Hey!
(I’m a closeted Demiboy)So, when my parents allow me I want to cut my hair. What cut do you think is best? Kinda random but still relating to Demiboy tbh.
Hello!
I think it depends on what you’re looking for, like what length you may want. I would highly recommend NOT telling your hair stylist you want a pixie cut. Without fail they always give you the most un-masculine haircut in existence lol.
I think an undercut is a good way to start with whatever length you want on top! I’m lucky and have a stylist that i’ve known for 10 years who knows what I like. Do some research on stylists around you and maybe even set up a consultation before fully committing!

hello! I need some advice, I was looking through the demiboy tag and stumbled along your blog so I thought maybe asking would be a good start! :) no surprise I'm questioning my gender and recently someone suggested to looking into the demiboy term as I was venting here on my blog that I felt like a man but I also feel like something else entirely as well. to be exact the other thing could be labeled as agender as I don't feel like another gender exactly but again still feel like a man at the same time?
would this fall under the demiboy label?? I feel like questioning it after someone pointed it out to me has been helping me a lot lately
yes that definitely falls under the demiboy label!! being a demiboy means that you have a connection (small or strong) to masculinity while also being in the nonbinary/agender/etc umbrella. keep exploring, you’ll get there!! it took me a while but now i’m super comfy with the label :)

Hi, I've been identifying as a demiboy by the past 6 months ig, but I feel comfortable saying that im a trans man, because very people don't know what demiboy is and I feel gender euphoria when I look like a boy or an androgynous boy(the second one is pretty hard, since I'm in the closet). Like, when I found out I was not at all a girl(im Afab) like, I never felt interally a boy, but I'm fine of saying I'm a trans man, not a trans masc. Like am I faking that I'm a demiboy? (Sorry for the long text)
You definitely aren’t faking it! I do the exact same thing. Sometimes it’s easier to tell people i’m nonbinary transmasc or simply trans because it can be emotionally exhausting to try to explain the concept of being a demiboy. You’re definitely not alone in that. Plus, it should only matter how you feel about your labels. If you know you’re a demiboy, even though others may not understand, you’re still a demiboy! (No need to apologize for the length :) )

Hi, I’m AFAB & currently questioning my identity. One of the genders I seem to relate to is Demiboy. I’m also pretty sure I’m bisexual (still questioning tho!)
My question is: On the days I feel very masculine (Demiboy-ish) + I like men……Does that mean I technically belong to the MLM catergory? And does this also apply to the reverse (I’m feeling feminine + I also like women).
Hello! I think it just depends on your preference. For me, I see myself in the nbmlm category (mlm + nonbinary folks) so that could be something that speaks to you. It could also just be that you’re under the multisexual umbrella (bi, pan, poly, omni) and it fluctuates! That’s totally okay too! Hope that helps a bit.

if you have the space, I could use some advice
I've discovered that I'm demiboy (yay!) I've identified as nonbinary lesbian for years but exploring my gender more in depth lately has me looking at a long term behavior pattern with a big question mark
ya see, most media I consume is mlm cuz I can see myself in those characters more easily which confuses me cuz it's basically like I'm fantasizing about being a fictional gay man?? even tho I have no sexual attraction to irl men???
am I oblivious to something more or do you think I'm reading into it too much?
I feel like a LOT of nonbinary people can relate to what you’re saying, anon. When I was first discovering my identity I also would place myself in an mlm character’s shoes, and want to be them soooo badly. I think this was a step towards my gender discovery because wanting to be a gay man seemed more than just a coincidence lol.
I’ve also seen a lot of sapphic people and lesbians have the same experience of being “attracted” to fictional men, but not men irl. This does not take away your identity as a lesbian at all. From what I’ve researched it’s a form of comphet because these characters are unattainable.
At the end of the day, though, gender and sexuality is a huge spectrum that can fluctuate at any point in your life. Don’t feel down if it’s confusing! That’s part of the journey.

Helloo, I have a doubt. I'm actualmente questioning MT gender but i wanted to know. Can I identify as genderfluid transmasc demiboy? All at the same time?
Is there a "label" that means all of these?
This is so confusing aghh help
Hi!! Demiflux may be a good term to look into! It is in the gender-fluidity umbrella and takes into account that it seems a lot of your gender identity/expression is masculine focused, but acknowledges that fluidity too.
That said, I identify as a transmasc demiboy so that certainly isn’t out of the question. Just thought I’d offer another term I knew!

Is it possible to ID as bigender, demigirl, and demiboy all at once?
sure! demiflux might be a helpful term for you if you feel like you fluctuate between demigirl/boy!

Hi Im 14 and I think Im a demi boy ( Questing) I don't have any makeup or know how to use makeup to make me look like a boy. So do you have any hair tips for someone with Shoulder length wavy curly hair. Thank you.
Hi there! Thanks for the question, hope you’re doing well!
When I had longer hair I found putting it up in half buns or half ponytails was gender affirming, especially because a lot of men are using those hairstyles too. Putting a beanie or other hat on could help too! I personally love beanies and bucket hats. Hope this helps!

What does gender feel like? Cause i think im a demiboy but i don't know cause im not sure how to delineate my own feelings. Love ur blog!
Hi anon! That’s a hard question. For me, gender feels like a blank slate. Like something I can curate to my comfortability. And that just happens to be on the masculine and androgynous spectrum. It also feels freeing since I feel more confident with who I am and where I’m at. I hope that made any bit of sense
