IGNORING ALASTOR. I HAVE THOUGHTS. I know you weren't addressing me, but we're ignoring that.

We have a frustrating lack of information regarding him, but I still have an interpretation of him that I believe works. What we know for certain is only the characterization we have now, and the information that he was once an overlord before (assumedly) losing his soul to Alastor in a game of cards.

To me, he seems like the kind of person who's an understanding and caring person naturally, but grew to dislike that. Perhaps everyone is frustrating all the time, perhaps there are people that he didn't want to care about or understand, things like that. I say this because of his small rant at the beginning of episode 4, where he says he "knows everything about" everyone; what he describes isn't just their problems, which they "bitch about to him all the time," but what causes them; he calls Sir Pentious 'lonely' and 'insecure.' When describing Vaggie, he doesn't stop at saying she judges everyone, but continues to say that it's because she hates herself. Even before Angel Dust spells out his character to the audience, Husk obviously knows what his deal is, and Angel Dust was repeatedly harassing him this entire time, he didn't even like that pink asshole!

Husk looks at a person and he sees a person, no matter how much he'd like to simplify that to something easier to hate. He definitely lived with a lot of guilt, too, being an overlord with that kind of nature.

I am uncertain on what kind of overlord he was, specifically. I honestly doubt he had any businesses that were properly his; I could see him owning a casino or something similar while he was an overlord, but it was probably someone else's beforehand. I get the idea he came into power by chance and kept it by playing those chances, and losing them the same way. He didn't particularly plan for that power, but he did try and keep it once he had it.

Just realized how long this was. Apologies for ranting about a character that isn't mine! Though, if you do want to go bother Husk, check out @gamblingkitty. They're listed as one of my associates for a reason, and that is to drive more traffic their way!

Ah, what a standout character. He didn't know if they were attempting to be inconspicuous or if they were simply new to hell, but nobody wore something like that otherwise. He had been sipping coffee on the hotel's balcony, but he was curious as to who this new arrival was.

He didn't wait for them to approach, using shadow to teleport just behind them. "Hello!" He greeted with his too-wide smile, giving the visitor an appraising look. "What brings you here?"

He's never enjoyed an animal's company, and never wanted to, as pets were always a waste of time a resources to him. He still appreciates them, though, as many can still be admirable creatures.

Are you putting a kind of filter over the Alastor pictures now? I’m just curious because they have a weird texture, idk how to explain it lol

Oh, no. Not at all.

To be entirely honest, I get all of my pictures of Alastor from youtube videos. I simply pause at the frame I want, and then take a screenshot. Depending on the quality of the video and the size of the image, it can look weird.

To be entirely honest, I simply haven't cared to fix the inconsistencies. The one thing I try and keep consistent is having a somewhat similar aspect ratio.
