Alastor didn't get to answer when the cat landed on him, the panicked creature yowling wildly as it scrabbled and scratched, trying to find purchase after having landed directly on Alastor's head. The screech of radio feedback from Alastor was enough to send it jumping off and running away, leaving Alastor unable to follow it.

"Oh, that's what you got up to after your were denounced of your crown! How interesting." Alastor could only imagine how pathetic he felt doing such a lowly job after his precious position. "And you're the one sent to handle this instead of someone higher up? I would imagine that Blitz fellow would handle it himself."

He sat across from the radio demon, a somewhat nervous smile on his face, "Well, I'm currently the receptionist at I.M.P..."

Okay, listen, Alastor. I have to abide by the rules I've set in place. There was no way to justify cutting off that interaction, as it fully followed all the rules. Not to mention it was funny.

I was just wondering, what do you have in mind when you're writing Alastor? A place or maybe something you've encountered that sets the tone before you dive in?

Hey again!

It depends heavily on what the question is and what my mood is while answering, honestly. Most questions I imagine being asked of Alastor while he's in the lobby or on a walk. He's usually in a good mood while he's out and about. Aggravating questions I often imagine being asked of him while he's inside the hotel, where he'd be more likely to express negative emotions due to that being the safer place for him (whether he realizes it consciously or not). Though, the exact setting is never concrete.

If the thread happens to continue, I'll often set it in whatever place is shown in the reaction image I used to accompany his speech. That method is more reliable, as it's the same place others often imagine as well.

"Oh, I was looking for the hazbin hotel, it's for a meeting between the staff and about working with I.M.P for security details."

I just have to say that I love how you portray Alastor. So much snark, so much sarcasm, so on point. The delivery for his commentary is wonderful, it makes me laugh, just like the canon Alastor does (as in, in the pilot & show). Mysterious, creepy, bit of charismatic sassiness-- it's just what I need to see on my feed. Thank you so much for this.

Alastor's grin brightened in amusement as he watched the bird's reaction. What a delightful screamer.

"Not a problem," Alastor returned, taking the map from the demon's hands while he'd lost his composure in order to take a look at it. "Plenty of people react the same. What were you trying to see?"

Poor thing, he almost had a heart attack. He calms himself down, letting out a small sigh, "Sorry, you startled me."
