Honestly the problem with the X-men as a metaphor for civil rights is that in order for marvel to preserve the status quo, the humans have to be so cartoonishly evil that they can only be described as evil on a base level. the humans have successfully slaughtered over 16 million mutants over the course of four genocides in six in-universe years yet we're supposed to believe that the idea that coexistence is not only possible but **ideal**. magneto is often framed as an ideological extremist for not being a bootlicking cuck like professor x, but if anything, erik is still too fucking liberal. the only real solution is to simply get rid of all the humans already (maybe let a few of the good ones stay alive on a reservation or something idk).

I think we as a community need to do more to differentiate between TERFs and general transphobes. Like, not everyone who posts a rancid take is a rad fem and I feel like we aren't doing ourselves any favors by lumping every brand of transphobe together under the "TERF" label. I've seen transphobic cis men and tradwifes and such getting called TERFs and idk. I feel like it's painting a skewed picture, like rad fems are the only group who treat us like shit when actually fuckton of people who are not rad fem aligned at all who hate us just as loudly and proudly.

This is true! It feels like TERF has become a catchall, when it's a very specific subset of people.
