The beach was great, we booked a whole week and despite it being hurricane season it didn't hit the part we stayed at, there was a lot of sun and we were chilling near the ocean most of the day.

The only bad things that happened was that I packed a couple of cigars but my jet lighter ran out of fuel after the first one 😭, and one of the days it did rain and we got soaked which I didn't mind but my wife was upset (she was carrying her electronics in the bag) because it was my fault for wanting to keep taking pictures of the sea lol, and also I ate soooo much that I got a bit sick when I came back home and I also got fatter lmao (wife loves that tho). I really miss the food ouughh, there was free icecream!

It was the first time I had gone since I started transitioning, but I felt pretty fine, dysphoria didn't hit too much and people weren't too weird. We went to an average hotel, but we want to go to a fancier hotel next year, and hopefully get a room with a pool or jacuzzi because I really like those, we're gonna save up for that. Overall pretty good experience.

Just bought one of those photo collage frames you can hang on walls, I realized I can just draw and print stuff, and now that I feel more comfortable with my skill level I can in fact display my art in my walls if I want to.

I will make specific art for it, I want to make some landscapes and some pinups, which need to look sort of visually cohesive somehow, I will have to make a sort of art collection basically, 12 drawings.

This will potentially be seen by my family at some point which feels weird, as they aren't even aware that I still draw and haven't seen my art since I was a little kid.

Ougghhh thinking about Sekto again. I want to know how Oktigis function anatomically, psychologically, morphologically, biochemically and in society.

We know so little about them! I want to know how Oktigis function as parasites, as creatures, as people.

Are they amphibious? Do they live in land and have a vestigial capacity to live in water? Like an extended lung capacity? Do they live mainly in water and need constant moisturizing or to return to it after the day?

Are they obligate hematophagous parasites or do they also feed on junk food like Glukkons? What does their mouth look like? Is it full of teeth like a Lamprey? More minimalist like a Leech? do they have fangs like a vampire bat? A different thing entirely? They at least need a structure for penetration or anchoring and one for suction but in what configuration?

Since they're big ectoparasitic blood feeders do they exhibit funny/cute/weird behaviors tied to instincts like seeking warmth? Do they enjoy the warmth and safety of their hosts? Do they feel weird not being attached to something during sleep or another activity? Do they feel the faint need to chew/attach their mouth to something to fidget, do they like putting things in their mouths more than say a Glukkon would feel the need to instinctively? Do they feel a faint liking for iron or a different metal that their host's blood might contain and it's also found in objects? Are they cuddly? Have more need for intimate physical affection?

As their arms have suckers on them, can they "taste" through them like an Octopus can? "Smell" through them the contents in the wind and water? Can they detect hormones like an Octopus and prefer males, females or certain hormone configurations in hosts? Do they like the taste or hate it but tolerate it because it's otherwise a good host? Is the tasting somewhat intimate?

What sort of physiological and psychological dynamic goes on between an Oktigi and their host? Especially if it's a living host? What goes on biochemically and anatomically for the control to take place? Is it a very detached process for the Oktigi or is it deeply intimate and does it take a toll on them? Do they get "attached" to their hosts? Do they fall in love/lust after them? When choosing and taking over a host is it a hateful sadistic intention, an entirely detached one, insidiously depraved or a yearning, even loving one? How much do they even understand or ethically value consent, sexual or otherwise? Are there more ethical Oktigis? Do they parasite other Oktigis sometimes?

I have 1000 questions and thoughts in these and more topics on them.

I did the Cog Art Challenge!

I questioned wether to put Sellbots or Bossbots as my favorites but The Big Cheese is my favorite normal Cog so Bossbots won. And I could have put the C.E.O. in there too but the S.V.P. is best girl. Roberts is so obviously my favorite of all and Thomas is here too as my second fave.

Oktigis are kind of weird to think about anatomically, they are clearly Octopus-like but unlike one they seem to have a proper skull or at the very least plenty of cartilage and may not be as full of interstitial water so they aren't as squish-around-able nor so are their arms, but they can still probably move water and pressure around their body enough to stretch and compress different parts, especially their arms.

They clearly don't work too much as an Octupus but their inspiration and their anatomical design don't really let me divorce them from that concept all that much. I still try to fit them in somewhat.
