Meh I would have liked to see Misty and Brock again, but I fully expected this outcome so I don’t really care now. I hope the new characters work well with the story and make the movie an enjoyable one.

You should watch this amazing anime made by trigger company called blood blockade battlefront. It's a very underated anime that is amazing and is getting a 2nd season this October. The dub is amazing, the animation is awesome, the soundtrack is super catchy (especially the opening and ending), and the overarching arc in season one is totally anime exclusive!

I actually have that in my watchlist lol. These parodies of the ED Theme weere enough to make me want to watch the anime.

While I am sad that there is no Brock or Misty, I can't deny I'm excited for the movie. This is most gorgeous well animated Pokemon movie yet!

Do you still enjoy Pokemon, at least in the anime domain?

I am afraid to say this, but I am unable to get “hype” over the anime anymore. However, I still enjoy it when I watch it from time to time and that is one factor that will never change for me about this anime.

This isn’t really a complaint but Souji and Makoto should have been the other two trainers from Pallet Town who set off on the same day Ash and Gary did in the Original Universe.
