A recipe for finding your story's plot:

Ingredients:

2 cups of Things that must be in the story (this can be characters, specific scenes, settings, subplots etc.)

1 cup of Vague plot ideas I may not use

1 tbsp of Central Themes

1 tsp of Ending (either happy, tragic, or bitter-sweet)

1 tsp of Protagonist's Primary Motivation

2 lbs of Brick Wall

Time, as needed

Instructions:

In a large bowl, mix Things that must be in the story. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, sift together Vague plot ideas I may not use. Discard the excess and set aside.

Add Themes, Ending, and Motivation to a small jar. Screw lid on tight and shake until mixture becomes Conflict.

Pour Conflict and Vague plot ideas into Things that must be in the story. Blend on medium until Plot Points form.

Taste.

If it is still missing something, smash head against 1 lbs of Brick Wall for one to six hours.

Let marinate for one to 365 days. Add more Things and Vague plot ideas as desired.

Smash head against the rest of the Brick Wall for one to six hours.

Scream.

Repeat steps 5 through 9 as needed.

After sufficient marination, the mixture will form an idea. This will tell you what specific action must happen in order to resolve your story's conflict. Write this down and make appropriate sacrifices to thank whichever deity took pity on you.

Now you have your conflict, climax, and resolution. You just have to figure out how to get there. Good luck with the damn middle section dork!!

Is it just me, or does anyone else hate the type of fics that have people misunderstanding krs!Cale as suicidal?

Like, the man is depressed and traumatized to hell and back, but he is not suicidal. That’s the whole point of his character, really. 

Seeing people mischaracterizing him as such and treat him accordingly makes me furious for reasons I can’t name.

Keeping up with the Todorokis but it's messier

Context: This is my SI-OC, who was unfortunately born in the world of My Hero Academia. She's very salty about it, find out below.

So uh... This was written in August 2021, and it's almost one year for this little word vomit. This is an unfinished draft.

I've been in this body for approximately two or three months, and even as time passed, I still refused to acknowledge the current situation. For the past days and weeks I've been stuck here in this godforsaken world, I still deluded myself into thinking that this is all a prank from my team members from the office, but to be honest, none of them obviously had the power to stage a prank of this level.

Even if they've seen all the manga and manhwa collections in my room, why of all the mangas in there did it have to be My Hero Academia? After wondering about it, I've hit a wall.

What's the next step, you ask? Blame the nonexistent gods, obviously.

To whoever's up there and having fun with all my suffering from down here, fuck you! Transferring my consciousness and soul to another body— in a child of the Todoroki family— what kind of weed do you smoke, huh!?

... As expected, no one shouts back from the abyss.

Like any other person, I bawled and thrashed, kicking and screaming in the unfairness of it all. It's the only way this body knows how to react, but truly, I was indeed aggressively crying my soul out.

My dignity, my sense of identity, my privacy, all gone because I'm in an immobile body... AAAAAAAAAAAAA—

And perhaps sensing my bottomless agony, the gremlin beside me cried too. Thanks, Touya. I appreciate your help.

With that, I proceeded to cry even louder just to make my parents' lives harder.

Soon after, I hear voices from around me and Touya. And then, I was picked up by the lady I'm supposed to call mother from now on. And even through the tears that continuously blurred my vision, I could make out the outline of her figure. Her pristine white hair was short, and behind her slim figure was the towering figure of the two-decade-and-some-years old mountain of a man who was also supposed to be this body's father.

"Oh no, hush, it's alright, you're alright," Rei rocked me gently, a worried tone apparent from her voice. Endeavor disappeared in the background, moving towards Touya.

Don't get me wrong, I have yet to understand Japanese, it's just that they're a few of the only words I've gleaned from these two.

"... Kaguya," Endeavor's voice was heard. (My new name— on the back of my mind, a loud whisper passed. I ignored it.)

Fuuuuuck yoooouuuuuu—

"Stop crying, it's the middle of the night."

No, I can't hear you. Can't hear, can't hear at all—

Then he picked me up, cradled this small body in one arm and Touya in the other. While Touya was on a peaceful laying position, I was sitting on the arm of this man, and the lady behind me was gently supporting my back so I didn't fall. With a small chubby face stained with salty tears, I made sure to put on a glare as I met his bright turquoise eyes...

And with the force of a roaring pebble, I smacked his face with all my little power.

Overall, a fairly tame night in the Todoroki household.

Perhaps expending that much energy that night was a bad idea. Because after that, I've been exhausted and have been wading in and out of time. In other words, my sense of time was messed up.

That's why I'm calm today.

Another reason was because this body was too sensitive. This body was born too early along with Touya, which was the reason why this body was too damn weak.

Anyways, here are the deets:

As you can infer, it's already planned. The titles, the kanji of the oc's name, literally everything has been planned by me. Though... They're all scattered across my files and I can't seem to find them.

I dunno if I should still continue to write this or the other one, but,,,, if I did continue this,,, well. I don't know what'd happen to my other SI-OC. And there will be minor changes here as well. Maybe the HotWings content will be changed as well?????
